I was looking everywhere for a pumpkin patch where I could take my Belgian Malinois and have a beautiful moment with her. We loved this place. The entrance fee is the cheapest of all the pumpkin patches we have been to. 2$ per person on the weekend and 1$ per person on the weekday. The maze and wagon ride is also only 2$ per person. My kids each picked out a small pumpkin and total was 5$. Just overall, reasonable prices with good photo op. So if you're looking to avoid crows in Ventura, this one is for you! read more

McGrath pumpkin patch off the Victoria exit from the 101 was a cute little pumpkin patch! Plenty of easy parking. There was a hay maze, perfect for the under 10 set. A "hay" ride for $2, entering is $2, maze is $2 and pumpkins are reasonably priced! If you just want a cute little place to choose a pumpkin and little activities this is your place! Family friendly. This place is amazing! $1 admission, $2 attractions, and GIANT home grown pumpkins for so cheap!! Regular sized pumpkins that are normally $20 at LA pumpkin patches are only $8 here. I only paid $15 per pumpkin for 25-35 pound pumpkins. The location is perfect, the farm owners are so kind and helpful. It's also only 10 minutes away from the beach so it's a perfect location for a family fun day. Second year in a row visiting and will be back next season! read more

We came here as part of a Girl Scout troop meetup. There is plenty of parking on the weekdays. Just be prepared to drive over a small curb when exiting the dirt parking lot. The employees are very friendly and they even take credit cards. There are plenty of different types and sizes of pumpkins. Great pumpkin patch at a great price! You really can't beat the prices here. $2 entry fee on the weekends, $1 entry fee on the weekdays. Of course it's a pretty simple patch, but it had just what we needed! Pumpkins, a tractor ride ($2), hay maze ($2), and farm animals! Even the produce is affordable as well. We purchased a spaghetti squash for only $2! Pumpkin patch fees are honestly ridiculous these days ranging from $20-$30 just to see some pumpkins and take a few cute photos. It's outrageous. Cool place to get pumpkins for the holidays. Theres an entrance fee of $2 a person to get in but its worth every penny. You can grab a wheel barrel, walk around the huge plot of pumpkins organized by type and they have photo opportunities set up for kids and a petting zoo. I went to another pumpkin patch/farm with my family and it was $30 (each) to get in then you had to pay extra for everything once you were inside, but my 1 year old loved seeing the pumpkins so much I decided to take her to McGrath (it's by our house) so she could see the pumpkins again. It was seriously so much better than the previous experience we had at the other place. The staff was friendly and the pumpkins weren't outrageously priced oh and it was only $1 to get in!! We have been back several times now and with different people. I 100% recommend coming here and bringing your friends and family. read more

My teenage kids wanted to go to a pumpkin patch this year, and I had seen great reviews so we went to McGrath Brothers. It's pretty busy the week before Halloween! There does seem to be ample parking in the dirt lot in front, and a very large selection of pumpkins to choose from. It was a dollar per person just to go inside the pumpkin patch.To pick out pumpkins. To buy. Once inside there are just various piles of pumpkins and a dirt trail ...way far back at the back of the pumpkin patch there were two small animal pens, one had some goats(One of which looked rather sickly) and the other had some cute pigs. The signs on the pens did warn you not to pet or feed the animals, but when we were there I did not see anybody keeping an eye on the animals. For additional fees there was a little Hay ride that went around the dirt trail-But we skipped that. Then we paid a rather steep amount for our for pumpkins and left. I guess if you have very young kids this could be fun. We live up in Ojai, And there is a smaller local pumpkin patch in town with a haunted hayride and affiliated with a Pizza Place- if my kids want to go to a pumpkin patch in the future, that is the one we will go to! read more

We've been buying pumpkins here since the late 1990s/early 2000s. We drove up in our minivan with our kids in tow, they babies when we started, and would buy so many medium & large & at least 1 giant pumpkin. We made great memories, it was a trek of over 100miles for us & at that time it was a great value. Now it seems so commercial and prices have skyrocketed. I remember buying a giant pumpkin for $30, few years ago we went back & the same size was now well over $100. It's lost its charm and certainly it's value. I have to give it 3 stars only for the memories now, rating it today, i'd say 1-2 stars at most for that reason, the prices. Minus the giants, I can get better value at Costco or Sams Club for medium to large pumpkins. read more

Class field trip with my daughter, she had a good time. Walking up to the front is like any other pumpkin patch I noticed they had the prices labeled on pumpkins according to size (obviously) the lady at the front was friendly as well as the workers. We took a tractor ride to the back of the farm to see the horses and chickens and also to see the adorable pigs! I would have to say its a decent farm to have a little outing for a hour or so. There was a large selection of pumpkins varying in sizes and colors. We went right when it opened and it was perfect for picture taking (for a Saturday morning) because no one was there! This would be a great place to bring kids as there's a lot of space to walk/run around, there's a few fenced goats and pigs, and there's hay rides for them to enjoy. Visited this farm on our way back to LA after a road trip up north. We were looking for a nice pumpkin patch without all the crazy kid play things. We found exactly what we wanted!!!
