After researching many vehicles, I focused in the 2022 Kia Seltos as being the vehicle that had everything I wanted. Unfortunately, COVID being the gift that keeps on giving, no one had any new inventory at the surrounding Kia dealerships. I found myself on the McGrath website and it had several that said they were "on lot." I was excited to test drive and was prepared to purchase right away. I connected with Val Trussov, who told me that there was no new inventory and that the cars listed as "on lot," were actually in transit. I was disappointed but Val went into action. He told me that I could test drive an employee vehicle, 2021 Kia Seltos. I told him I was out of town for a week. I fully expected to be hounded everyday I was gone, but Val respected my time away and didn't contact me until a week later. (He won major points with that). My husband and I made an appointment and test drove the employee vehicle. Val had worked to find out for me why the vehicles were listed as "on lot" when they were in fact "in transit." Unfortunately, with COVID being the gift that keeps on giving, I was not able to order the colors I wanted because it would've been more months than I was willing to wait for a new a vehicle. 10 were expected to be delivered in the next month and 7 were already spoken for. There was one available with the trim package I wanted and my husband and I put a deposit down. Val did an excellent job of communicating weekly the timeline on the shipment and contacted me immediately once the car was delivered. We set up an appointment to pick up the vehicle and Val patiently provided information about the car and lead us through the process of purchase. He worked to assist with getting us a military/veteran discount and has only sent 2 follow up communications since! When I'm ready to purchase a vehicle, I generally have thoroughly researched and know what I want, I abhor pushy salespeople, Val Trussov was the perfect sales person for me to deal with. He let me set the tone for communications and what I wanted. He didn't bother me on my travel time and once the deal was made, he provided weekly communications that weren't overwhelming. Val Trussov was knowledgeable both about the vehicle and the process. He worked hard to get what my husband and I wanted (within the limitations of CoVid) and we are very happy with our 2022 Kia Seltos! I highly recommend purchasing a Kia and working with Val Trussov at McGrath Kia!!

Andrew was a great car salesmen, he took the extra time to find exactly what I was looking for and reached out to me when he found it. Susan was a very good at what she does and listen to all of my needs financially and led with her best foot forward. Great service!

I never had to haggle. Just a good square deal. Second their service department is the best. I had a serious problem with my first car and they never hurried or made me feal inferior for all the issues. They truly put some serious work and thought into fixing the car - it was just one of those things that was elusive. We finally came to an equitable agreement since they couldn't fix it. I am now driving my second Murano. I sing their praises all of the time to my friends including my husband. He needed a new truck, we went to several places. I convinced him to talk to Dave to see if he could find what my husband was trying to find. My husband was so happy with them he also purchased a new truck from Dave.. The best part is while waiting for service I get visit with friends they are really happy here also.also.

Just because i wanted to pay as one check. this guy Made a comment that was humiliating and upsetting, He also walked away from desk when me and my wife at 7 pm sitting and still trying to work out. All we ask is very nicely professionally is there any other discounts you can apply, He made a comment if you have a ability to write 1 check for this car why would you ask for another $500. I was like you treating me like this because i have ability to make one payment. Very pathetic and horrible. I work hard for my money you have no right to say anything like this. God is watching you watch this person has long way to go and lot to learn.

I'm an out-of-towner but needed an oil change before I head back to California. Figured I'd stick…read moreto a dealer since I didn't know the area and needed a trustworthy oil change given my 2k mile journey back. Found it relatively easy to schedule an appointment. Overall pretty satisfied. I didn't get a quote beforehand, but was a little surprised at the price, $66 for an oil change, which could be right on market for Cedar Rapids, but my oil change costs $74 in California. I was expecting high 50s given that there were no extra services performed such as tire rotation, etc. Complimentary car wash left something to be desired, Not sure if it's soap or they just didn't get all the dust off my car (it wasn't super dusty, just the normal amount of dust from a car that's sat in a driveway for a couple weeks without a wash or rain). And given that I have a black car, it is noticeable. I have white droplets and residue from my hood, to the top of the car. I don't expect a professional wash, just not expecting residue. If you want extra social-distance I'd recommend walking over to the dealer waiting area, no one was there when I stopped in, and they had a counter area where you could work on a computer, and complimentary wifi, allowing me to continue working during the service, which was great. Customer service was generally very good, my service rep was very friendly and polite and had a great attitude, it was disappointing that he wasn't wearing a mask and only about 25% of the staff seemed to be wearing a mask. I don't know why masks are so controversial, but given the science, as a customer, when I am at a business that can't be bothered to wear a mask I always think, I guess they don't care about the health of their customers. And it becomes a little painful handing your money over to someone who doesn't care about your basic health. If you're immune-compromised, I would find somewhere else to get your oil changed during the duration of Covid-19.

BEWARE OF BUYING USED VEHICLES FROM RANDY KUEHL HONDA IN CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA…read more I bought a 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan from them on March 12, 2026 for over $13,000. The dealership-provided CarFax claimed the engine had been serviced and the vehicle a "must-see, must-drive, must-own". Less than ONE MONTH later -- after driving only 367 miles -- the van broke down and would not start. In the next two weeks, I took it to two separate mechanics, and they told me the engine needs replaced or rebuilt (around $10,000 in repairs) due to major internal engine damage that would have existed before the sale. When I contacted Randy Kuehl Honda about the issue, they offered me $1,000 toward repairs. That does not come close to covering the estimated repair costs, nor the loss in value on a vehicle I had just purchased for over $13,000 less than a month earlier. I understand used vehicles are sold as-is, but having catastrophic engine failure less than a month after purchase and after only 367 miles -- combined with documentation claiming the engine had just been serviced -- has been an extremely disappointing experience. My vehicle is no longer worth the over $13,000 that I just paid for it, but a diminished value of about $3,000 to $4,000 due to having to have a complete new motor costing over $10,000 with motor and labor. Please share so others are warned before buying from them.

On the website you can enter a price as an offer. I entered the price of $19,000. This was a little low but I was hoping we could negotiate. A coworker recommended this place to me. I visited the dealership and was late due to the construction (they didn't tell me!). I was given a salesperson who did not know anything about a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited! What's the horsepower? "Um, don't know, I'll have to ask" Is there hill descent control? Is there hill start assist? What is the engine? What are the tires? "Um, I'll have to get back with you about that". The guy was nice and there was no pressure. But really, he couldn't answer any of my questions. I told him about my price offer and that I had done research and thought it was pretty reasonable since the car is not new but used and there are better offers in in the area. He asked me if there were any other cars I was interested in. I said a Subaru Forester. He said he would go look and see if they had any on their other lots. He disappeared for some time and then returned with the manager. The manager told me there was no way I could get a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited anywhere around here for $19k. He said he looked at all of McGrath's lots and there was just no way. He showed me some computer paper which had a price of $25k which he said was the price they bought the car. Are you kidding me! What a bunch of malarkey! He said he would go down $500 but no more. Well, I thanked him for his time and walked out the store. I never did get the info on the Subaru or any of my Wrangler questions answered. It's probably for the best since I doubt the salesperson I was with knew anything about a Subaru either. They should have just told me they couldn't meet my price instead of wasting my time. The whole time I was waiting for the salesperson to find out about the Subaru, they were in the researching if there were any Jeep Unlimiteds for $19k? Really?! Why didn't they just come out and tell me straight up they couldn't meet my price but they could help me find another car? Instead they made me look like I was a liar! I guess it's okay for the salesperson to lie but if a customer is lying, then the management will spend 30 minutes doing research to find out if the customer is lying. Iowa is not a good place to buy a Jeep since they are overpriced here due to their popularity. Chicago is the best place to go to find a fair price. It's not as popular since most urbanites want a fuel efficient car. This experience left me really bad impressions of McGraths and Jeep. Only go here if you want a car that is overpriced and you are not willing (too lazy) to go to Chicago for a fair price.
