I got a jump from a hero and was able to get over to Tuffy. They fit me in with no appointment - and quickly! They were informative and quick. I left happy with a new battery and confident that my alternator and starter were fine. I was able to make my gig a couple of hours away and get back home. Fast forward to Sunday morning with a dead car in my driveway. Come to find out that the tech didn't clean off the corrosion on the leads from the previously bad battery and they didn't tighten down the negative either! I missed church, some work and had to spend time on the issue myself. Couldn't leave a message at the store during off hours. Front hub assemblies, cv shaft, upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, the works! I bought all the parts prior to dropping off, aside from one hub assembly which they had provided. The bill was obviously extensive, well over $2,000. Totally was prepared for it and paid my bill in full. There were no complaints, at first. Less than a week later I drove out to my dads, roughly 20 minutes away. On my way I started experiencing some severe shaking. Thank goodness my daughter wasn't in the truck at this time! I get to my dads and we were absolutely shocked! All but one of the lug nuts had BROKEN off! I've literally never seen this before. My husband and my daughters dad are both mechanics and they explained this was because it was not torqued properly. The only reason I sent my truck to this shop is because neither of them had the time and I wanted my truck fixed. Any mechanic would have realized why this issue occurred. I towed my truck back for joe to fix, which he did fix. However, he then wanted me to pay another $400+ to fix his mistake! Absolutely not! I brought in my previous bill to show not only all the parts were brand new but that he had been the one to do the repairs. He comes in and I explained why I shouldn't have to pay for his mistake, to which he tried to claim it was because my truck was so rusted. Everything was new, so regardless of the amount of rust my truck may have the parts were not rusted. He made a huge scene and never owned up to his mistake! I refuse to work with someone who doesn't stand by their work.

New service manager told me that both front CV shafts needed to be replaced "no grease left in joints" and the Rack and pinion steering gear must also be replace due to excessive play. I removed the axels and found nothing wrong with them, not even a tear in one boot. And the rack and pinion is nice and tight. I returned today and showed the Serv Mgr the axles and asked him to explain. He treated me with total disrespect and did not care that he flat out lied about multiple "needed repairs". We will not be using this company again, not even for a simple oil change. They didn't even bother to grease the top ball joints on my truck when I took it to them last month. If anyone askes me, I will tell them not to trust anything these people say.

They ordered the part and got it fixed! I dropped my car off the night before and they had it done by noon the next day. The front desk guy, Gavin, is also the sweetest! He asks questions to make sure you get everything looked at that you need to. I had an oil change, and a diagnostic test done, and they switched out alternators. I would 100% recommend and do repeat service with everyone at Al's! They also charge a reasonable price for all of their labor, products, and knowledge, they will not "pink tax" a female!

They claim to be full tow service so I called to have my car towed into their shop I was informed that no they don't do towing, so I asked why they claim to be full tow service when Gary informed me that they provide the phone number for me to call and make the arrangements to have my car towed into their shop, not sure how that makes them full tow service but I can certainly Google a phone number myself. I was also in formed that the online appointment don't coincide with the shops actual schedule. And just because I made the appointment for that day does not mean that is the day they will get to my car. I was at work and didn't have time to find another shop and explain what I needed done. I paid $181 to have my car towed to their shop. I called a few hours later just to make sure my car had been towed in. I was told they hooked a code reader up to the car and he proceeds to tell me a thousand different things that could or couldn't be wrong with the car. I told him I don't care what the code reader says are you going to fix the valve cover gasket which is why I brought it in. He goes on and on about this code reader and how fixing that isn't going to do any good if I don't fix this and this and this. So I said okay don't worry about it I'll come pick up my car because a code reader can give you 10 different codes and from there it's a guessing game. Never asked my car to be hooked up to a code reader I dropped it off explaining what I needed done. He informs me that I owe $87.00. they didn't do anything to my vehicle except hook it up to a code reader that I never asked for and literally takes what maybe 30-40 seconds. so $181 to have it towed, $87 for the 30second effort they spent on my car and the $100+ dollars it's going to be for another tow truck. It cost me over $400 just to have them hook up a code reader. And not the actual repairs I took it in for. After calling other businesses who will actually service my vehicle I was informed my car doesn't even have a valve cover gasket it has a cam carrier... Too bad the code reader couldn't tell them that! I can't even express how much I do not recommend
