Delivery, setup and takedown was perfectly on time and Nicole was a pleasure to talk with and work with! The food from Chowgirls is phenomenal! The whole agency was raving and asking where it was from - we even had a couple of people want to use them for their upcoming celebrations! Some highlights for me included: * The hot chocolate tarte was rich and delicious - and it truly was a hot chocolate flavor! * The apple manchego sandwiches were the perfect blend of fall flavors, and everyone was shocked it wasn't a dry sandwich with all the toppings! It would be great for large events as two hotels are attached. Huge plus: the children's meals were brought out the same time as the adult salads.. And they were not hot to the touch! Usually the kids food seems to take forever and the parents are always trying to keep the little ones entertained.. Then it usually shows up and it's too hot to give to your kid. I went to the bar and asked for a milk for my daughter (which was not at the bar) she went to the kitchen to get it for me and was very nice about it. Cons: the servers would randomly give us our food even though we all had the same entree.. It was strange, they would look at what we ordered and then walk around and pick someone.. Our first job was to point people to the punch table. The two workers that came were late, so there was nothing to point them to. Then they didn't even have the food with them! We needed to move the dessert items as the punch containers were not fitting as the bride's parents were told. We needed to get another table for the cake as it wouldn't fit on the dessert table! The cake was put on the table on the cardboard, not on plates! When we mentioned this to the bride's family, they said they were told they were supposed to have water pitchers, bread and salad on the tables, however, none of that was done. The workers asked us to put the water pitchers on the tables! Other things we noticed were that some tables never even got bread; and that no one got the salad before the main meal. VERY poor service, extremely disappointed for the family! They definitely deserve a refund of some kind!

There were only 2 women that worked for our 125 guests and were not very professionally presentable. They left without saying a word to us and took everything with them, leaving us to assume that we didn't get to keep our leftovers. When we went to their business on Monday morning to express our unhappiness with it all, the admitted mistakes were made and apologized while also defending their reputation. The communication prior to the wedding was always initiated by myself, not them. They admitted they went off of assumptions instead of our information. Our complaints were met with comments like, " We can't change the past." They said we could take our leftovers - food that we had already paid for and no other compensation was offered. I have never written a bad review for anyone before but our experience with them was awful. It was the topic of conversation at our family reunion the follow day because no one could believe it.
