I already knew they wouldn't be a company we'd be interested in hiring, but in life, we need to be fair. Manuel arrived and was courteous. I asked him how he could bid on a job before he could actually access it and see what was required. He replied that he'd been doing this for a long time. Upon his departure, I noticed him measuring our property. I couldn't help but wonder why he needed to measure when he had already given us the price for the job. There were some issues discovered with the existing drainage after the work started, but Jesus gave us reasonable suggestions for altering the design to come up with a solution. This wasn't just a simple planting job. Both the front and the back needed to be graded, and proper drainage needed to be installed. We used pavers to create a small patio in the front yard and a larger one in the back yard. Jesus gave us great input on what would be the best kind of tile to use for this. We also needed some concrete work done on the step down to the patio. We also had them build custom vegetable beds designed specifically for the shape of our space. In the end, they finished on time, and there were no cost overruns. They had the expertise to deal with all the unknowns we encountered with reasonable solutions.
