This is one of the best Metairie bars, if not THE best Metairie bar. It is very Nola'esque. It has that personality that Metairie bars generally do not have. Its in an older building, with a beautiful outdoor space. It is dog friendly. And they have craft cocktails, not just a large beer selection. It is like a cigar bar or a man cave with leather couches and dark woods and lamps inside. They have plenty of fun board games. They are non smoking bar. They place sports on their tvs inside and outside. And they doc crawfish boils on Sunday evenings during crawfish season (Feb-May). I do wish they did them either on Saturday or earlier on Sunday, like 1pm. They have plenty of parking. They are right next to a loud train, so be prepared to turn that into a drinking game every time the train passes. Although they dont really have a full food menu, they do sometimes serve some of the best fish and chips. I don't have anything negative to say about this place. it is great.

Those frozens are the stuff dreams are made of! The walls are covered from top to bottom with old photos, fun signs, and cool memorabilia that give the place a quirky, worn-in feel. Super friendly service from down-to-earth bartenders. It's one of those places where everyone makes you feel like a friend, even if it's been awhile since they've seen you. The atmosphere is perfect.

Every road seemed to lead to Erin Rose, and they absolutely nailed it. This place has everything you want in a dive bar--cold drinks, zero pretentiousness, and a crowd that makes you at home. The bartenders were the real stars of the show. Super engaging, quick with a drink, and happy to chat. We ended up getting a fun history lesson on Vodoo and she made the experience even more memorable. The biggest surprise? There's an incredible po'boy spot tucked in the back, so you can grab tasty sandwich a few steps from your barstool. If you're looking to skip the tourist traps and experience a genuine New Orleans neighborhood bar, this is the spot. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

Some days and nights are more chill than others for those looking for respite and unwinding. Sunday nights tend to be a bit wild as the kickball kids come here after games to blow off steam. Bartenders have been extremely gracious towards the Parkview orphans, making us feel welcome and that we have a "spot". In fact, my first night in asking about IPAs and the one I prefer not being available, PM Caitlyn made sure to put it on order for me---and kid you not, the next time in, it was on the shelf. THATS service. Sure there are things that could be improved, like outdoor fans to battle those stagnant afternoons or nights, some development of a greatly underutilized back room, (throw those old gross couches away!) and scary sidewalks and steps non-conducive to drinking folk, but that's on the city, not the bar, just something to be mindful of! Glad to feel so welcome here, you'll see a lot more of me to come.

Finally got my one drink and went outside. Bravely decided to go get a second one and close my tab - same thing as the first time. Chatting up other patrons, ignored me standing there while he got dog treats and fully walked outside of the bar with me standing there to go pass around treats. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised since the bartender was wearing a t-shirt saying "World's Okayest Bartender" which is ironic considering he might've actually been the worst. Overall, worst bar service I've ever had. Not surprised, considering this place seems like a bad imitation of Finn McCool's. At least at Finn's you'll get served in a timely manner, and not completely ignored by in incompetent bartender. Just sad overall, would not recommend. Mick's was a colossal waste of time I so badly wish I could get back. Only gave 2 stars since they had Mango Cart on tap.
