The prytania bar is a cool spot with live music and a great 2 for 1 happy hour from 3-7pm M-F and daily unique drink specials. Is located directly across the street from Touro hospital. As far as parking you get in when you can. The live music is everyday starting around 7:00 p.m. And they also have an option with the little restaurant on the side called P. Otis foods with menu items starting at $12 and down they also have nine vegan options. Bartender was cool and had some good suggestions on the house wine when asked and he made a great old fashioned too. The loud music was a great touch. It was great to be able to enjoy live music, reasonable price, drinks, and some food on the side. Just a great relaxing spot I'll definitely return

This place has been several different bars and this latest incarnation seems to vary from an older crowd for happy hour and for now they don't have music but they plan to bring the music back. This is a decent bar with an ambiance that has a dive vibe. The previous owners had divided up the bar into other spaces but they have recombined the spaces. They have some nice daily specials on food and drinks so this is definitely a spot to check out.

Prytania Bar is a locals gem! Fast cheap drinks, more of a beer bar but they do have liquor for mixed drinks. Fun block with Qiqi and Yinzers nearby. They have a few outdoor picnic tables you can sit outside if you'd like. Bathroom leaves a little to be desired but not bad for a Nola bar. Great location, easy to hop off the street car and walk the block to Prytania Bar for a beer. Fun place to meet for a date or with some friends. Also, GREAT Mardi Gras location, a block off the parade route, can't beat that. Highly recommend!

This is a dive bar, but a non-smoking dive bar so I'm über happy. It was fun and friendly and even had a decent choice of beers (I was absolutely shocked). They have 2 IPAs, a stout, Guinness, etc. it wasn't busy but it was friendly but not nosy. Fun!

*friendly *affordable *kick ass *food *music I have been here sporadically, it's not in my area but if it was it would be my home bar. Every time I go I meet a new mix of fun, different people. Bartenders are of good humor and quickly pour great drinks. There is also a kitchen that does amazing things with Cajun food.

Rose took the time to accommodate my very inconvenient allergies and explain exactly what we could or could not enjoy. Every dish was a highlight. We all started with cocktails, I had a version of a dirty martini that featured vermouth which gave it a lighter and almost sweet flavor that is not the briny flavor of the typical dirty martini. I enjoyed it but I only had one. We ordered so many different things but the standouts include the tomato & mango salad, the oyster bed roast, the tandoori squash and my entree the pork vindaloo. It was sooo delicious and I was grateful to have leftovers because everyone else at the table order the softshell crab entree. That bothered me only a little because it was way too much food but also, it's a pet peeve of mine when people order the same thing- why not try/share everything on the menu ‍ Anyway, the service was excellent and so attentive. I was also treated a large slice of chocolate cake as a birthday treat. I was so stuffed but I managed a couple bites and shared with everyone. The consensus is that it was a phenomenal dining experience! Definitely a birthday treat.

Our server, Christopher, was very attentive, suggested wine pairings, and gave us great recommendations. We started with the charbroiled oysters which is a must. They were large and charred to perfection on the outside grill, topped with parm and breadcrumbs. My friends ordered the filet and the gulf fish, and I had the charred cabbage entree, with a French gerwurztraminer blend. The mushrooms with the blue cheese sauce were so rich and delicious! Sweet treats were a no brainer. The blue cheese flan was creamy and decadent. A perfect ending to the meal. This is so far my fave restaurant in New Orleans. It's an honest, no BS creole inspired cuisine. 100% coming back soon!

The moment you step into Atchafalaya, you realize it. Ambience is amazing, quirky, cool, homey and cozy. Staff is amazing. We sat in our own private room and were treated to a very special delight of a dinner. And not only did Chef Christopher Lynch come out to say hello to my Autistic son but the owner Tony Tocco did as well and it made his day! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
