Been here twice and had great experiences both times. The first time we came to get prescription diaper cream and the lady helping me threw in their "super duper" version for us to try. LOVED it! Smelled of fresh citrus and seemed to work well. The second time we needed probiotics and after searching high and low we found they had a bottle in stock. Hooray! For years Jim and his team gave great, reliable, helpful, and friendly service. A new owner came in and I have had nothing but trouble. Trouble understanding answers to my questions due to thick accents and an accusation of rudeness because I dared to ask for assistance with a safety issue. The man raised his voice and vilified me. This is not a safe place to get medical answers about meds, nor are they helpful. I would give them -10 if I could. I don't recommend them if you need information about your meds. I also had to check the pills to see if they were really the correct ones! I have never been treated with such arrogant disrespect. read more

Went for covid test Monday 1/3/22 @ 9 am Today is 1/5 10:30am and still NO results I was told I would have same day. So if you NEED your results in a timely manner, don't go here. I also want to point out the people going car to car to take your info wore NO MASKS and there was NO HAND SANITIZING between cars. read more

Walking into North Side is, in a way, like taking a trip back in time. There are numerous items on display from pharmacies of decades ago, and the space has the feel of an "old school" pharmacy from a small town. However, it's an important place for a few reasons. This is a compounding pharmacy, meaning that they mix some medications on site, which can save you a ton of money (a good example is male hormone replacement therapy using testosterone - a compounded cream may cost a third or less than a prepared "big pharma" product). Another great feature is that they sell and rent mobility devices such as wheelchairs, walkers etc. We've rented wheelchairs there a number of times, and the prices are very reasonable. Finally, the staff are all very friendly and genuinely engaged in the patient's care and needs. If there's a downside at all, the operating hours are a bit limited, but that can be worked around. read more

This is by far the best pharmacy we have ever used! The people are honest and very caring. We have used this pharmacy for almost seven years. It gets very complicated with the insurance sometimes because we have both a primary and secondary insurance, but they are always willing to manage any issues that arise. The medical equipment guy there is excellent. He knows more than my doctor did!! He helped me find the right wrist guard, and other things over the years. We get several compounded prescriptions filled and they are very good about explaining the medications. On TWO occasions the pharmacist stopped medication orders doctors prescribed because the new meds would seriously conflict with other medications being taken! The pharmacist called the doctor to get a different medication that would not conflict. So they are truly life savers! read more

I have used this Pharmacy off and on for 27 years now and I have NEVER had issues with the service I received over the years, nor have I ever had anything wrong with the items I have purchased from here. If you want excellent service and top of the line products (at reasonable prices) then you should use this Pharmacy. They are the best! The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful in every way possible. If they do not have an item you need they will order it for you right away. Yet, over the years I have requested some odd items that I thought for sure they would need to order for me but each time I went, they had what I needed in stock and ready to go. One last thing, on my last visit a young man named Seth went above and beyond to help me and I couldn't have been more satisfied with what he recommended for me. The guy who helped us out was very honest and told us the brace he had probably was not the right one we were looking for based on the injury. We thought we liked it until we found out that they were over-charging us by telling us that our insurance wasn't covering an item when insurance confirmed to us that it had been approved. I wish I could give 0 stars. I was insulted and humiliated by the lady pharmacist who originally filled my meds, but as soon as I try and check out has the tech pull my meds and treat me like a criminal drug addict simply because my psychiatrist from my home state in Oklahoma wanted me to try Xanax to supplement my anxiety. I have no history of being on a controlled substance, and am 35 years old. I work hard and take care of my wife and 5 kids, but because a pharmacist wants to play god, feels it's her right to decide what MY clinical psychiatrist feels I need to help with a problem that I have ongoing evaluations with. It's not a pharmacists right to hear what I discuss with my PhD psychiatrist who is amazing and has Over 40 years of practice. Shame on you, and I hope you sleep well at night, because I know I don't. I wish you could see the face of my children who have to see me suffer with anxiety everyday. You have no right!!! read more
