I was completely blown away by how honest and professional this company is! I had requested glass replacement for my 2013 Dodge Durango, because I was told the seal around the windshield was loose and that's why it was making a buzzing sound at high speed. Instead of coming out and charging me to replace the windshield for a solution that he knew would not work, AJ called me immediately and let me know what the most likely problem was. He said the windshield replacement would not solve it, and that I needed to re-seal or replace the cowl under the windshield wipers. He was right.! I had a big crack in my windshield and was looking for pricing. When I called safelite, I was told that there is a nationwide shortage and that it would take a couple weeks for an appointment. 1st choice glass service was so quick and responsible. They were able to provide me with a quote and drive up to the house at the appointment time to change it for me. The appointment time was within a week. At first, he told me that they couldn't take my insurance, but when he came to change the windshield, he was able to bill the insurance, so I only needed to pay my copay, which was a nice surprise. Based on others reviews and calling around and verifying 1st Choice has the best price, I went with them to replace my windshield. AJ came out at the exact scheduled time, and called ahead just as he said he would. He is a one man show and very professional and attentive to detail. He doesn't have or need all the high overhead of the higher end shops, which is why he can offer the lower prices. He is a great guy with a great work ethic. A rock hit my windshield and the next day the crack appeared. Ugh. I called my insurance company and found out my deductible. Even though I my insurance company is paying the rest, I figured I'd call around. I called 1st Choice and the two places the insurance company recommended. Huge difference in price. I went with 1st Choice because they were closer and cheaper and they were a small local company. Showed up at agreed upon time. Install was quick and entertaining to watch.
