They go out of their way to serve their customers. One time, they even had someone give me a lift home and picked me back up because the repair was going to take a long time and they didn't want me to have to sit there. Now that's service! I have an older car so I am always worried when I take it in for the annual inspection. Michael and his team never rip you off by making up repairs or anything even on an older car which I totally appreciate. They have done both major (replaced my AC system) and minor (old change, tire rotation and inspections) work for me and I could not recommend them any more. My only gripe is their driveway which sometimes gets deep ruts in it that's hard on our other car which sits low to the ground. They do try to keep up with it to make it smoother but it's difficult since it's just gravel. Minor gripe for such a great place.

I called this location the day before Christmas Eve, practically desperate and they told me "bring it in". Not only did they identify the problem quickly, keeping me updated throughout the process, AND fixing it day of: Everyone who worked there was incredibly kind. The regional manager stopped by and she was wonderful!! But what really set this shop above the rest was the Manager, Richard. I was not feeling too great when i walked in, clearly upset, Richard was professional, knowledgeable, and informative. But above all else, he was warm and kind to me at a time where I was feeling hopeless, and he assured me "We're gonna get you home to your family for Christmas". After seeing Richard interact with several customers and coworkers through my time in the waiting room, it's clear he goes above and beyond for clients and crew alike. Even staying late to help someone in a pinch, the day before christmas eve!! You can seriously just tell he's a great and honest guy, and I can not thank him enough for helping me this day. I WILL be returning for car repairs in the future and i'll be purchasing some lures from his shop where he makes them!!! Anglers take notice!! Support this guy and his family business.     I brought my vehicle to Monro for a tune-up, splash guard repair, and other maintenance. During the…read moreinspection, the team identified additional issues that they recommended repairing. I agreed to all of the work, ultimately spending $3,165. The experience quickly became frustrating. After I was told my vehicle would be ready, I Ubered back to the shop to pick it up. Upon arrival, I was informed that the final spark plug replacement had uncovered additional problems involving oil contamination and another required part that had not been anticipated. As a result, I could not take my car home and had to arrange additional transportation. The next morning, I noticed my splash guard was dragging on the road again--the same issue I had originally brought the car in for. I called and was told to bring it back so they could secure it with zip ties. While discussing the repairs with Jordan, I mentioned that I expected my tire pressure issue to have been addressed during the tune-up. He assured me that all four tires had been checked and were properly inflated. When I asked why my tire pressure warning light was still on, he told me the likely cause was a dead TPMS sensor battery and explained that the sensors would need to be replaced. Minutes later, another employee pulled my vehicle out and noticed the tire pressure warning light. He checked the tires and discovered that the right front tire was actually "super low" on air. This directly contradicted what I had just been told. After he inflated the tire, the warning light disappeared shortly after I left the shop. So which was it? A dead sensor battery or a tire that simply needed air? This inconsistency left me questioning the accuracy of the inspection and the quality of the work performed. After spending over $3,000, I should not be leaving with less confidence in my vehicle than when I arrived. Additionally, I was expecting to receive the Monro ConfiDrive Performance Review that is advertised as part of their service process, but I never received one. The entire experience left me feeling like communication was poor, quality control was lacking, and important details were either overlooked or misrepresented. For a repair bill of this size, I expected much better.

    I chose this shop because of the many positive reviews and I wanted to support local business…read more However, I had a very disappointing experience. Lack of Transparency, Disrespectful and Unprofessional. That's all I have to say about Tao. I brought my car in for a simple job: Replace the AF sensor (B1S1) to pass emissions, complete the inspection, and check a loose bracket near the rear wheel. I clearly explained the order of work. However, the wrong sensor was ordered, and the emissions test was performed before replacing it - resulting in a failure that COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. I had to comeback for re-inspection after replacing the sensor (about 200 miles running). Instead of addressing my original concerns, I was presented with additional costly issues (axle, brake caliber, spark plugs). This was confusing, as I had recently passed a PA enhanced inspection at another shop, and none of these issues were mentioned. I also double checked my maintenance paperwork at Lexus Dealer, my spark plugs were replaced at around 142,000 miles (current mileage ~183,000), which is within their normal lifespan. The spark plugs will usually last for 80,000-100,000 miles. A second shop confirmed there was no issue with them - a full diagnostic were performed. Moreover, the loose bracket, which is the first thing I asked him repaired, was NEVER FIXED. I don't think he did even pay attention to it. Communication was poor throughout. Calls and emails were not returned, and updates were unclear. When I asked for clarification about the new findings, in-person, the response felt dismissive and unprofessional rather than helpful with: "I can't say anything about other shops doing", "Do you trust me?", "Do you want to do it or not?". For the re-inspection (even with an appointment), I had to wait about 2 hours. After reviewing other 1-star feedback, it appears this may be a pattern - customers come in for a simple service but are advised to complete additional, costly repairs without clear explanation. I understand businesses need to make money, but customers deserve transparency, proper communication, and respect. At minimum, the original concerns should be addressed clearly before introducing new issues. Overall, I felt pressured into unnecessary repairs without sufficient explanation. I would recommend BE CAREFUL and NOT FALLING ON low inspection prices or some "good" high/five start ratings.
