As the other reviewer said, they are very knowledgeable here and were fair and honest. The best part though was it felt like they went above and beyond in doing the actual work! Basically if you go to like Jiffy Lube etc they'll do a basic oil change for a cheap price, but at Apex for a reasonable (slightly higher but I'm telling you it's reasonable/worth it) they actually check all your fluids and tighten everything that needs tightened, my car feels 100 times better than before they worked on it. I'll be coming back to them next month for an inspection and pretty much anything I'll need done from now on. Good guys who really know what they're doing. And quick, too! Highly recommended if you're anywhere near the area.

This mechanic refused to actually work on my car after saying my rear wheel bearing was "bad". He tried to essentially use overcomplicating jargon to describe shaking my wheel bearing and feeling some play. Instead of digging deeper, he just stopped the process there and called me, offering to replace some incredibly cheap parts for an incredibly *not* cheap amount of money, because mechanics shops primarily pay their techs by commission, and therefore they have an inscentive to attempt to make repairs with cheap parts but high labor costs. I'm a young, fairly small woman, so I have somewhat had to get used to, quite frankly - men in specialized fields talking to me like I'm a toddler, but after that tech had his fun fighting back the urge to yell at me for essentially implying he was trying to scam me, I just took my keys and got into my car and I broke down crying. For all the reviews saying how nice these guys are, I'm sure they're true. I'm sure plenty of people have had very polite service and that's totally fine, but it's the 1% of interactions where you have to consider how capable someone is of talking down to you so harshly and with such bitterness that you can't hold it together afterwards. If you're well off and have a nice car that just needs an oil change, I'm sure these guys are fine. If you're not loaded and have a car that needs something they can start to wedge-service you on, look elsewhere.

A full synthetic oil change took 20 minutes and cost me $66 including sales tax as I used a card. He kindly let me know I still had about 1,000 miles left and wouldn't have necessarily even needed this oil change so quickly but unbeknownst to him I was about to embark on a road trip. I knew I had 1,000 safe miles left but I couldn't believe he told me after having had multiple horrible experiences with male mechanics throughout the years.
