He abruptly said they could not help me unload it and my polite response was simply ok as I would be coming by myself. His statement back was, "If you own a Mercedes, you can afford a tow truck". Excuse me, I or anyone else don't need to be told what we can afford or not afford. l spent thousands of dollars on my car-hauling trailer and I have hauled all over the nation. It is anyone's privilege and prerogative to do what they wish regardless of conveyance. I consider this kind of initial treatment to be rude, very unbusiness-like and unethical. Rather than to listen to more abuse, I simply hung up. Any customer or otherwise have no responsibility to stay on the line and listen to more insults. I left and later came back to my phone to have a message transcription that said exactly: "Thank you for hanging up on us. That was real mature. We have no longer will need your business. We do not need immature people. Have a great day." SIC. He had no idea if we lost the connection, my battery failed or otherwise. But immediately went to this abusive stance. I do not recommend nor suggest doing any business with this kind of person or otherwise.

Then after shifting back to drive it would eve to go into limp home mode. These guys read the codes and and had a good talk with the computer on board. Even submitted a question if MB has seen this issue because nothing seemed obvious. They did see comm error found a blown fuse. After that they could not reproduce the problem. They logged computer codes and cleared them. Gave me the car back to see if it would act up again. For all this work they said will charge you when we know we fixed something. Can you believe this place. They are all about customer service and doing what is needed and not ripping people off like some dealers in town. Guys you rock and have earned my respect and business.

I called Audi Huntsville after visiting Audi Nashville. I had a q3 to trade and had a car in mind but Nashville didn't want to negotiate too much on the price. Eric at Huntsville picked up the phone and after hearing my story quickly found us the right car for the right price. I can't stress enough how important it is to accommodate the reluctant buyer. Huntsville is a haul from Franklin TN where we live, but we came and picked up the car. Mark, the finance manager sat down with us and we had paperwork signed in less than 20 minutes. I know quite a bit about leasing cars and how the money side works, these guys don't put up smoke and mirrors, very straight forward. If you want a great deal on a new Audi, give Eric a call. Make sure you do your research on the car you want and learn to understand auto financing, these guys appreciate it when you understand the very good deal you're getting. I spoke with someone in service who said yes, he'd start the claim and call me back. He did call back once to get details about the crack, but after that, I never heard another word. I waited several days with no update and had to call back myself. The next person told me there was no record of my call, didn't know who I spoke to, and said they'd figure it out and call me back. No one did. When I called again, I was told no one had ever spoken to me and that the dealership doesn't handle windshield claims -- that I'd have to call the warranty company myself. When I did, the warranty company immediately confirmed a man named Jeff at the dealership had in fact started the claim. So not only did someone at the dealership speak to me, they lied and denied it. I then asked to speak with the manager to address how poorly this was handled. I was told he was out and that he'd call me back. That was September 14th. It's now weeks later -- and no one has ever called me. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is unacceptable. If you ever need service here, document every name, time, and call -- because clearly, they won't. Sales may be fine, but once you're in the door for service, it's a completely different story. This is not how a dealership should treat customers.

They said the battery was looking a little puny, but not bad ... but the alternator must be shot. Want to buy one now? My wife is as smart as she is good looking (that is to say: very very), so she hired me to take it to a mechanic. Since we only own Toyotas, we don't HAVE a mechanic - the cars just don't need 'em. But there's 150k miles on the van. Thinking we need to find a good shop for future use that isn't the competent-but-expensive dealer. So I looked at Yelp, talked to a few friends, polled a couple of other sites and decided on Larry's. Larry did some sleuthing and decided that my battery isn't quite puny, yet not quite new, either - but not time for a new one. And the alternator is FINE. Don't get me wrong - AZ is great in its place, but so glad we got a second, more learned opinion. Larry's shop cleaned the battery terminals and the throttle body and did a couple of other possibly-related things. He said all that stuff was related to remedying whatever was behind the check-engine code, but couldn't guarantee for absolute sure he'd solved the problem. He said the code isn't critical and probably not even useful for my trim level and engine, and his little tweaks likely solved the problem. But we should keep an eyebone peeled for future flashes. And since my visit, no more check engine light, even for a sec. Believe I win. $60. And peace of mind. And I got to play tug-o-war with his dog. Wins all around. Go there.
