For starters, the calamari was perfectly crispy and fresh. Sauce ok, but the calamari was good all by itself. I highly recommend the butterflied snapper with steamed veggies. Delicious! The veggie pasta plate was huge and the pasta cooked to perfection. The shrimp scampi pasta was sooo good. The linguini was perfectly al dente and the shrimp big and plump and yummy. Oh! And let's not forget the mile high key lime pie. Even if you don't care for key lime pie you will absolutely love this one. It's more like a key lime ice cream but better. Servers were fantastic despite the busyness of the place they never neglected to check on us. Great place. Highly recommend.

I've been here a few times, and for whatever reason, every time we put the address into our…read morenavigation system, it takes us somewhere other than the restaurant. It can be pretty frustrating, especially if you're visiting for the first time and end up driving around in circles trying to find it. Once you arrive, though, it's worth the effort. The restaurant is located right on the water next to the boat ramp and has an enormous amount of parking. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a full bar area. The outdoor seating is especially nice since it's completely covered on the deck but with all of the bushes and plant surrounding the deck, you're not really getting much of a view. This visit, we opted to sit at the bar and were lucky enough to snag three seats together. Our bartender was awesome and did a fantastic job throughout the meal. They don't serve liquor here, only beer and wine, so I ordered a rosé. The bartender recommended a cute little $16 bottle that came in its own mini bucket. It was adorable and paired perfectly with my meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Ahi tuna with broccoli and a side salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband, however, definitely won the meal competition with the shrimp stuffed with crab meat and mashed potatoes. I stole a bite, and wow--it was incredible. The flavor and texture were outstanding, and I'll absolutely be ordering that next time. One of the funniest parts of the visit was the bartender's T-shirt featuring Anthony Bourdain flipping you off on the back. They were selling them, and I couldn't resist buying one. I'm pretty excited to wear it. Overall, we always enjoy coming here. Great waterfront atmosphere, good food, friendly service, and plenty of parking make it a place we'll continue to visit.

5 Tails Up (5 Stars, Swampy style)…read more If you're looking for that perfect Treasure Coast waterfront experience, On the Edge in Ft. Pierce delivers. We arrived right at sunset, and the view alone was worth the trip--golden skies, boats drifting by, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. The crab cakes were excellent--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. The poppers were just as good, with a great crunch and bold taste. Everything came out fresh and well-prepared. Drinks were cold and refreshing, perfect for enjoying while watching the sunset over the water. What really adds to the experience is the live entertainment. On weekends, they have bands playing that bring that laid-back, Florida-chilled atmosphere to life without overwhelming the vibe. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better. This is more than just a place to eat--it's a full waterfront dining experience. Great food, great views, live music, and a true Florida feel.

We had a great waiter, and it was a beautiful view/location. Now if you're coming just for the food, then definitely on the 3 star side of things. The food was just... fine, but absolutely nothing special and not really worth the price to be frank. I'd say the Thai Shrimp app was the best choice of it all. The "catch of the day" (not pictured) was definitely not caught any time recent and had frozen fish written all over it. We were definitely disappointed in the quality of the food, and would only be back for a drink by the water.
