The tri-tip sandwich was delicious filled with thick juicy slices with minimal fat on the meat which I greatly appreciated. Next were their dry rub baked wings, the flavor has a bit of kick like a buffalo wing minus the mess, but all the flavor! Hands down one of favorite despite not being a wing person myself. The salads were refreshing we did one southwest and one Cesar both of which can easily be spilt in half and be more than filling!

They pureed the pineapple, and paired with the chili pepper sauce, it was great. We had leftovers and can attest that both pizza's held up well for reheating. I would say this place as some of the best pizza dough in town. Paired with their honey, spicy rand, it was great. The drinks and appetizers were also very good. Their pork belly dish appetizer was SO delicious. We actually put the pork onto the pineapple pizza and had a grand old time. Both my partner and I got beers. I got the cucumber beer, that was pretty good and refreshing. My partner got something light, I'm not sure, but he also enjoyed it. We made a point to only pick things made in house. I had this at the yelp event, but their white peach carbonated water was amazing. Pretty happy with this place. Their workers know the menu and were super attentive!

Then I drove back to Los Angeles very satisfied. Halfway to LA, I realized I left my credit card at the restaurant. I called them and spoke to Fernando who confirmed to me they have my credit card. He said they will close at 9pm but someone will still be there if I make it before 9:30pm. I got back to the restaurant at 9:25 and true enough, Mykayla was there and handed my credit card back to me, though they are closed already. Thank you to Fernando and Mykayla for the great help to get me my card back. My wife and I expected a lot from the fantastic reviews. The first issue- they had ONE "Irish" beer...Guinness. BUT! They had Dos XX's and Modelo on tap! Viva Bakérsfiéld! The second-my wife ordered a Long Island. Result = windex. The third- I ordered a house whiskey and water and was charged for Jameson...what I got was of a quality lower than antifreeze. The fourth-my wife ordered BONE IN wings with BLUE CHEESE and got boneless with ranch, the the server wanted to argue with my wife and tell her that she was wrong about her order. The fifth- I ordered a side of sweet potato fries and got regular ones. BOTTOM LINE- if you want a fake Irish bar with crappy "American" and Mexican beer with terrible service and fake liquor come here. read more

McMurphys. Used to be a great bar. Bakersfield staple. But like everything in this good ol town it changed, and not for the better. Being that it's East of the 99 you won't see much of the "BrosDale" (Rosedale) boys in this place. No steroid gym rats here. Just some good old fashioned gang bangers. If you want to drink the night away with some ex felons with tattoos on heads, necks and hands then this is the place for you. Cheers! read more

The security staff can read into people before they can start any trouble, and they stand on business when it comes to taking action on handling unwanted situations. Being surrounded by the security team makes the area feel very comfy and easy to worry less about any harmful people.
