On a Sunday morning in late May, my family and I was in Bakersfield to eat bbq. At 11am, several families were waiting to eat here too. We lined up to order tri tip sandwich and shared on large basket fries. Lots of tables and tvs in the restaurant with a bar in the center. By 11:30, more families came to eat. We wait for our number being called. The kitchen is open so you could see the staff cook. The brisket was tender and the fries were hot. The sauces and take out containers was at the counter too. Nice atmosphere of people watching.

SW salad with tri tip. Very fresh and big portion.

We come here often for their happy hour wings and beer, but first time coming outside of happy hour. We tried their pull pork sandwich and cheese burger. The burger was good - nothing super unique but perfectly seasoned. The pork sandwich had good portion but was a bit dry - so do take their offer they ask if you want extra bbq sauce. The salad is always good here!

The 7 pork ribs is such a bang for your buck. There's so much meat on the bone, I would make two meals out of one. I'd say it's better than most BBQ places I've tried (in California). And the garlic bread is probably one of the best garlic breads I've had at a restaurant. They infuse it with garlic oil or something! It's just so satisfyingly garlic, but not overwhelmingly so. However, the scene stealer here for me is definitely the beans. It's more like a chili soup mixed with beans and meat, but super savory and sweet at the same time. The only drawback was a very bad interaction with one of the cashiers after asking to switch one of the orders placed. She was unnecessarily rude and made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience for us to change something in our own order. It's unfortunate because the first two times we were there we had no issues. Overall, food is great value and quality, so definitely give it a try!

A Bakersfield favorite for a reason. The food is surprisingly affordable for the quality and quantity you receive. The tri tip sandwich has been my go to for years and love it every time. I tried "the pig" sandwich on my last visit and greatly enjoyed it. Coleslaw on the sandwich is a must. I'll be bouncing around their menu a bit more from here on out. You place an order when you walk in, seat yourself, and grab your food when it's ready. They're always super fast with their service, which makes snagging a to-go order during a tight meal window super doable. There is plenty of seating inside and televisions galore, making it a great place to catch a game.

Firestone is a household favorite! I love coming here to meet friends for yummy food and some drinks. They play pretty much all of the aired sporting events on all the TVs so it does get pretty loud. If we go with a large party we sit where we have a waitress. They are usually pretty busy but food is quick here and it's convenient if you're going to have an open bar tab. My favorite meal is their tri tip sandwich with a side of jalapeños. The portions here are large enough to share! The small salad is a large at most places and the sandwiches are stacked high with generous portion of meat. The basket of fries and onion rings comes in a large salad bowl and is definitely enough for 4-5 people to share. I love getting shooters here as my drink option. I highly recommend coming here.

Walking in it's a sports bar lots of TVs, a few low tables mostly high top tables. It's super loud and crowded so the food must be good. You order at the counter, fill your own beverages get plastic utensils and napkins. They call your number to pick up your food. We got the last available table. They have a constant line going out the door. The food comes out freshly made and fast. Tri tip $16.99 piled high with juicy tender meat ABC Burger , avocado bacon jack cheese w/ all the veggies was yummy. Juicy burger and had a lot of avocado and veggies . Just passing through town. We would stop here again food was great. Tons of fries $3.69 their bbq sauce is really good for dipping. Drinks were a great price only $2.69. They have a full bar in the middle of the restaurant. The cashier was enjoying her job greeted us with a big smile. She helped us decide on ordering and even said that the side of fries was plenty for 2 people the basket was huge. Well the side of fries was way too big for the 2 of us. Clean, fresh tasty food.

It's been a few years since I've came back to Firestone, I believe since they opened. I'm a little sad I hadn't because I was pleasantly surprised! I knew they had large portions of food, but previously we'd always come in for the tritip sandwich and beers. I've become way more health conscious and ordered a side salad and some spicy wings this time around. Portions are still large, but WOW were those wings super good! I haven't stopped thinking bout them since. Their ordering systems is very well organized and quick. Lunch rush hour is always crazy packed, but we never seem to struggle and find a table.

This was our second time here we came for dinner this time. We sat in the section where they wait on you. The food was absolutely delicious. My grandson ordered the seven rib plate which comes with beans and I ordered the tritip cobb salad. We also ordered a basket of fries. We had lots of leftovers. The salad was delicious and fresh. I ordered the small salad and it was huge. Lots of televisions all with the games on. Fun place to go. It gets busy because the food is so good. This service was great also!

We put in our orders and found our seat - there was live music on stage too - it was early in the day so we were surprised to be able to see it, a happy surprise for sure! I ordered an iced tea and its a self serve station - I loved the tea, it was brewed really well so anyone who wants a great tea come here! There are lots of different beers so my husband was very happy to be able to try them. This place was awesome and we'll be back for sure, I loved the historical signs and facts on the wall near the entrance to the bathrooms too, it's nice to have ties to the history of the region.

We walked over and had an enjoyable experience. I would first note, they only had 5 of the brewery's own beers on tap. I didn't mind, as I enjoyed a blood orange witbier. I had the sliders with veggie sticks and they were delicious. I was excited to see something besides just chips offered for sides. The seating space is ample and the night we were there, there was music. I was actually pleasantly surprised the music wasn't super loud and echo-y and we could still enjoy conversation. I would recommend stopping by for a beer and some food!

The ambiance was awesome--big screen TVs everywhere, a spacious open layout, and a fun vibe that makes it perfect for any event or casual hangout. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and I kept seeing the chefs checking on the food ensuring the guest were pleased. Right away I knew chefs take real pride in the way they make and plate the food. They've got a great variety on the menu, but I went with the fish tacos and sweet potato fries, both were tasty and full of flavor! I was so impressed by the way they plated the fish tacos not only were the fish tacos loaded with all the goodies, but on the side, they had included delicious rice with lots and butter and lime, as well as pickles purple onion. For drinks, we tried the bartender's special, a rum cocktail that was seriously a party in glass SO good!
