Ok..so McNulty & Foley Express and Catering has been in Nashua as long as I can remember. They started out with a hall, where I swear, everyone I know held their events there. They are known for their good home cooked food at reasonable prices. Now that the hall is closed, they are caterers, but, they also deliver dinners !!! I order from them at least once a week, for myself and my mom. I don't think the delmonicos have changed since I was a kid, and the salad dressing is just as good as ever. I've never once gotten a bad meal from them, and I also order around the holidays in larger quantities so that I don't have to cook so much. Take out dinners are $12 a piece but worth it considering what you get. And you honestly can't eat in a restaurant for that these days. I highly recommend stopping in and ordering a meal or checking them out for your catering needs. I don't think you'll regret it. read more

My company has used McNulty Foley for years for various functions. The quality of their food, their service, and their prices are amazing! Two years ago I hired them to do my daughter's wedding barbecue for about 100 people. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was! Kristen and Laurie are wonderful to work with and went out of their way to accommodate me. I requested things that were not on their typical menu but they were still able to provide all of the food I requested and it was delicious! People are still talking about the ribs and chicken! Kristen made me feel at ease through the entire planning process and the service on the day of the event was outstanding. My favorite caterer. As a long time resident we ate regularly at the Modern and attended functions at McNaulty Foley function room. Both sadly are closed but the recipes live on here! This is from scratch cooking at it's best! Their delmonico potatoes and tossed salad are straight from the old McNaulty Foley service. The modern had so many amazing foods, chicken croquettes, pea soup and much more, you can relive those amazing flavors here. But Kristen and her staff have the best of everything. Chicken wings that are crispy and tender, lasagna that has so much flavor and other entrees that are delicious. Don't forget desserts, so wonderful to end your meal (if you have any room) but don't pass them by. This is real food, cooked with love and history. I grew up in Nashua and my family had attended functions at McNulty and Foley when they were located on Amherst St. After moving away many years ago, I was visiting family in NH and wanted to locate a caterer for a large gathering. I was delighted to learn McNulty & Foley was still in business. I now use this caterer whenever there is a special occasion. My family has never been disappointed. I have ordered for Christmas Dinner and Thanksgiving Dinner as well as for special occasions. There is great variety to choose from. I often get their "heat and eat" meals and have never been disappointed. It's always delicious and saves me from having to cook. I have been using McNulty and Foley Express for years. I get their take out dinners -especially when it is stuffed peppers or stuffed cabbage and of course corned beef and cabbage. These are just a few of my favorites, but no matter what you order it is homemade and delicious. They have a secret salad dressing that I absolutely love. I and my daughter have used them for catering functions we have - Christening, prayer meals, baby and wedding showers. They will work with you and everything is beautifully displayed. I am very happy with McNulty heat and eat meals. I was a big fan of Modern restaurant and loved the soups and Chicken pie. Miss the Chicken Pie and French fries very much. McNulty was our go to place on Amherst Street for Weddings and for years our family Thanksgiving dinner. We have no other place in town like this any more. Kristen, the owner, provides some of the best food around and for reasonable prices. Their Heat & Eat service each week is really cool, varied meals and they even deliver for free ! Great for the elderly and shut-ins. They also have expertly made soups from recipes her grand dad developed at the former Modern Restaurant. The menu selection and delivery is best. (Always fresh salad and dressing. ) When I had surgery and could not walk co workers sent us a weekly delivery of meals. It was so helpful. I have been ordering meals for delivery for some time and I am always happy with the selections from week to week. I enjoy their chicken pot pie and their beef bourguignon. I also like that everything is homemade and well packaged. With most dinners I am able to get 2 meals from it. read more
