I brought my senior dog in for grooming, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! She's very anxious, especially around new people and places, but the staff here were incredibly welcoming and gentle with her from the moment we walked in. The groomers worked quickly but carefully, which was perfect for her--less stress, but still a thorough job. When I picked her up, she looked adorable in her little bandana and smelled amazing! My Samoyed Grandog is visiting me and I needed to have him groomed to make sure I was brushing all his parts well enough. He is a show dog and I was instructed that NOBODY can cut ANY hair at all. My Grandog was complete (washed, brushed like crazy, and dried) in 2.5 hours. They did NOT CUT ANY HAIRS. According to my daughter, she has not found a groomer near her home in Nor Cal who has not trimmed him even though they asked only for a wash and brush. This grooming shop LISTENED. 10/10 for doing what I needed and nothing else. They gave him a super cute neck scarf too. The shop is located next to the doggie/people walk path, so you can walk the heck out of your fluffy beforehand. Then your doggie will sleep like a rock for the rest of the day and be clean and fresh. read more

I've been a loyal customer of theirs, and literally for the first time missed my appointment that was at 11 , they called me at 11:07 and I told them I can be there in 15 minutes, no matter how much I apologized and begged they said no and didn't want to reschedule me for 3 more weeks. I think this is really messed up! I had an emergency this morning with my daughter which is what threw me off, and for them to be this extra about a few minutes late is insane. Never going back! By the way the first time they did an am gland expression my dog shook for one week straight! There has been times when they've left his hair choppy, I never complained and kept given them a chance, but when it was there turn to give me a chance there was none given, not cool at all! read more

Our first visit here was to have our two fur babies raptor claws trimmed, they offered walk in service for the nail trim, price was very reasonable and quick, Second visit was for our small dog to get her first grooming, we have never had a dog that needed grooming so had no idea on the price, considering that they spent about 2 hours, I think the price was very reasonable. While it would be nice if they had online booking, they are by far the most competitive price for my large very thick coated dog. My dog has is half boarder collie and half Great Pyrenees. She requires about 5 gallons of undercoat to be removed every few months. Somehow these folks do it and have her perfectly dry in as little as an hour, never more than 2. I've attempted to wash her at one of the self serve stations at a pet store and after 45 min of blow drying her with an automotive chamois, she's still wet. Whatever these folks are doing is working. I love that it's a small family owned business too. read more

I love that Stacie the owner is in full control of her operation and has the dogs' best interest and well-being as her top priority. If you get your feelings hurt easily or want sugar-coated talk, avoid at all costs - not the place. We took out three rescues to Redondo Grooming for the first time a few weeks ago and they got nice short haircuts as requested and were given the proper attention they needed (all three were kept together as one is blind, one is three-legged and old and one is a scrappy little barker). Every summer my dog Leo gets his fur shaven down since it gets really hot, and he sheds a lot especially when it's flea season. I was able to make an appointment here just a few days prior while many places were booked a month out. They gave him a full spa treatment (haircut, flea bath, and nails trimmed). I let the stylist Mina know that Leo is sensitive with his feet and will try to act like he wants to nip but doesn't actually bite. When I came to pick him up a couple of hours later, Mina let me know it took 2 people to hold him down while she groomed him since he was a bit difficult. She was kind and said he was a sweet boy despite it taking longer than anticipated. I appreciated that they took the initiative to muzzle him and be transparent about it--which I completely understand the circumstances! I called about a week in advance to book a haircut, nail trim/filing, and shampooing appointment for our 8 month old pup, and the woman I spoke with was SO kind and accommodating. This was our dogs first haircut/grooming appointment. My husband went to pick her up this afternoon and he said that she was the happiest girl - wasn't even phased by being apart from either of us (she gets attached fast). In addition- her haircut was better than we had expected! Pricing is very fair and they did a wonderful job. We will definitely be back! Wanted to update my review as my love for this business has only grown. My sensitive pup has gotten SO much better at tolerating grooming thanks to the wonderful folks at Mcoco. He now walks into the building himself, and happily goes with the staff when they take his leash. When we get home after his grooms, he acts like himself and even seems to have some extra pep in his step (feeling so fresh and so clean!!). He always looks SO cute, smells so good, and is just the coziest bear!!! My in-laws have now started bringing their two goldendoodles, and are in love as well. Mina and her team always have the dog's best interest at heart-- when my in-laws' pup was having a bad skin issue, Mina advocated for doing a complete shave down in order to make her more comfortable and allow her skin to heal. And when my father in law brought in their pup with some pretty serious mats after neglecting home upkeep, Mina kindly but firmly told him, "It's not fair to our staff, but it's especially not fair to your dog". Preach, girl! I will keep coming to Mcoco for as long as I have dogs and will recommend them to everyone I know. I would give Mina and her team one million dollars per groom and still think it was worth it. Thank you for everything, Mcoco! read more

I am an overnight nurse in the ED. 7 PM-7AM, I have been bringing my dog and my mom's dogs here for years. Have never been late. This morning I was late. 20 minutes.. because after working all night short staffed and busy I got out of work late. My mom called to say I'd be late. Never did they say don't come or we won't bet me to groom all dogs. So I arrive... a whole (20 minutes late) I apologized, explained the situation, still in my work clothes because I literally did a drive by to pick them up was told you are 20 min late. To which I again apologized and explained why. I was the. Told they would only bathe one of the dogs and not give him a haircut. (Of course the dog that needs the grooming the most). So I said give me my dog back and just groom the two then since you now don't have time. The owner told me no. I again told her give me back my dog. To which she did. We will never be bring our dogs back. So she lost 4 customers because she couldn't be understanding to someone who is never late that just worked 12 hours overnight for four shifts. I DO NOT CONONE people being late. So you just lost four dogs due to lack of kindness and compassion. read more

I have been taking my dog to this facility for 3 years now. Once my dog had his first cut and it was exactly what I asked, I knew this was the place for us. The price is reasonable especially for what others are charging in South Bay. My dog is about 22 lbs and is a poodle mix for reference and he is under $100. I really love the atmosphere at this grooming facility because they don't kennel the animals and they let them roam (if they play well).
