They have it all- pork ribs, beef ribs, brisket, various seasoned chicken breasts and thighs, brats and sausages GALORE, raw dog food, beef jerky (with generous sampling), and so SO much more! Leslie must have seen me drooling while checking out the beef jerky, she asked me if I needed help, and I obliged. I sampled their Peppered and their Teriyaki, before I asked her what the most popular ones were. She suggested the Peppered Honey and the Sweet and Spicy- both were glorious! Those are the two we went with- the Peppered Honey had a nice peppered sweet balance and the Sweet and Spicy has a delicious kick of heat and the end. Leslie was so kind and took us around on a tour of all of their offerings, giving her personal suggestions and customer favorites. I appreciated that touch of customer service that is just non-existent and most grocery stores in their meat departments. Her service alone made us customers for life- thank you! Pro Tip: In talking with Leslie I mentioned that it was our first time there- she let us know that they serve a hot "Brat of the Day" and new customers get one on the house. We were serves the Beer Brat on a stick and it was delicious. So if you're a newbie, like me, mention it to a staff member when you check out for a meaty treat :)

I order my beef online from Colorado Craft Beef, Betterfed Beef, Snake River Farms, and Alpine Ranch Farms. I also go to my local butcher in Bethany area. I also buy half a cow once in a while at Source Farms. I stopped by this place just to check them out, yet, I was treated like I'm going to steal their meats! I will never go back. They cater only to white customers.

Things are bad enough already without adding to the chemical cesspool we call food. This place had real fresh cuts and they looked amazing. Their roasts and steaks were any size you wanted, and fresh sausage made onsite. I had one of their teriyaki beef sticks and it blew me away. No grease fillers or odd looking parts, just excellent beef and spices. I highly recommend you try them. This is now my go-to spot for all poultry, pork, and beef going forward. The staff are very nice and ready to answer any questions.

We recently purchased a smoker and were so excited to smoke some meat on the upcoming weekend. We decided on buying meat from a butcher to smoke. Looked up nearby places on the internet, and the only one open near us was Top Choice Meats. They received great reviews, so we decided to give them a shot. They're located in a strip mall with plenty of parking available. We were greeted as we walked in (always a good sign). The inside was very clean and organized. The young lady who helped us was super helpful and knowledgeable with all questions asked. We decided on a brisket, but the one in the case was around 8 lbs, which was way too big for just the two of us. She offered to cut it in half. Perfect! We got home, made a rub, and smoked it for about 4 hrs on 250°. Once the internal temperature reached 195°, we removed it to let it rest for about an hour. We sliced it and wow, oh wow, it was outstanding! The flavor of the meat was amazing. We were very happy with our first smoke. Since our first visit was great, we came back this weekend for steak and brats! We would definitely recommend this butcher. We look forward to trying more cuts of meat in the future.

Everything is hand cut, and superb. Many kinds of ribs that have been marinated and chicken. Pork galore! Love their baby backs. I could go on about every item, but you have to come and check it out yourselves. There's so much ! They have all kinds of homemade sausages and summary salads. Their Hawaiian Mac salad is really good. My favorite is the pea salad.! This time we bought a 7 1/2 pound brisket to try out our new smoker! We shall see about that. I wanted to post about how wonderful everyone in there is. They are helpful and kind. It's always packed before the holidays and there is patience to go around and always a smile. Kudos to the Mount Hood pie company. We bought a Keylime pie and oh my it is so delicious. Looking forward to trying a different flavor. Thank you, Gartner's for all of your years of service and delicious eats!

The person serving me was pleasant and patient as I decide all what I wanted to order. The store was crowded and a bit loud due to all of the customers and everyone talking. The store was very clean and I would like to visit when it's less busy so I can see all of the things. Their prices are reasonable and they have some of everything. I had to resist the temptation to buy more. Even though their meats are fresh and probably tastier (I haven't tried anything yet), the prices are comparable to grocery stores where you don't know how long the meat has been sitting out or what they've added to it. 5 stars and I'll be back again!

The store is consistently, bright, clean and well organized. They offer fresh produce, meats, cheese, bread and dairy products. Their frozen food cases are well stocked well. Let's start with product selection. It's still about the same as always. However, prices have seriously increased. I felt at the previous establishment, it was more like Costco. Buying in bulk to get a better price. Now? It feels like it's only a bulk option, not better prices. However, not worse prices either, so that's saying something. It doesn't have the best atmosphere, but it's not a store I need great atmosphere from. It's not a bad atmosphere either, which is good. It won't deter you from doing your shopping as long as necessary. As for the customer service, it's also about as expected. Maybe slightly above average, but that'd be personal preference at most. Overall, "Chef's Store" doesn't hold a candle to Cash & Carry. If you're looking for what this store provides, it should do it with flying colors. Especially for restaurants, its main customers.
