I'd never been to this hospital, and the first thing I noticed (coming from a bigger city) is just how small it is. I will say though, when you walk inside it's really warm and welcoming. It also feels well maintained, it's clean and comfortable in the waiting room, and the receptionists we found to all be helpful. It was easy to find my husband's grandmother's room, and he stayed and visited for some time. I can't speak to the care, but she seemed well taken care of and had no complaints.

If you have somewhere else to recieve care.. go.. run..if you are 5 min late they make you…read morereschedule. But they can leave you sitting in the waiting area 5-10 min..evidently your time and schedule are of no concern to them..as far as care they assume they know whats best for you and if you choose a different path than they want you to go..you are not a priority. Instead of being co learners in this journey..their main objective is yet another pill. Get you out of their hair..not digging for answers..just bandaids..when you want to pursue a better route for your health care they are done with you..if you arent a frequent flyer they dont want to see you..the only person i have run into there who truely needs a raise is April..she is there for the right reasons and is very non judgemental

This was after staff decided to remove vital monitoring overnight on a patient who is known for being hypoxic and is not yet used to wearing oxygen at night. Therefore, oxygen came off with no warnings to staff that the patient's oxygen saturation became fatally low, leading them to become unresponsive, where they eventually would pass not many hours later. Do not take your loved one here unless you want them to leave in a body bag.
