I've spoken to the president/owner of this company twice. He's a real tool, unhelpful and evasive. Today our insurance is through the roof as a result of putting too many claims in that which the management company did carelessly with no guidance to the owners who pushed for these claims despite Cobrin knowing it would put us at risk for higher fees and possible losing the existing insurance company. Basically they only acknowledge and assist owners who want to spend and who go along w their obscene budget proposals. They have a fairly new person who handles the condo fee payments. Lawsuits are threatened to anyone for a missed payment and this person is mocking shaming and demanding that all sign in for autopay versus mailing a check. I would go elsewhere for condo management.

There were a few good things about the property that deserve recognition. I was very comfortable in the apartment. The size was perfect and most tenants were very kind. Parking was also convenient. However, there were so many aspects that were awful. Upon moving in, I was given a form to complete requesting minor repairs to be fixed (screens with holes, caulking that needed to be redone, etc). By the end of my lease, many of those repairs STILL were not fixed. I tried every way to communicate that I could think of (text, call/voicemail, mail, email, fax) and was pretty persistent the first few months. One of the 3 broken screens was repaired; however, I was not notified that someone was coming over and upon getting home from work, I panicked because some of my belongings were moved around. I ended up just putting duct tape over the other holes for the remainder of the lease because there was zero response. The biggest issue that I had was regarding a roofing issue. I contacted management immediately as soon as I noticed bubbling in the ceiling and was assured that it would be taken care of. After a week, it still wasn't repaired and there was a big storm and pieces of the ceiling fell down onto the carpet. The response from management was so minimal, that I contacted the borough after a few weeks to inspect the ceiling to ensure that it was safe to live there since it was near a light fixture. It was reportedly fixed and several weeks later it happened again. This was a month before I moved out. It was not repaired by the end of my lease. I also spoke with the previous tenant and he shared that he experienced the exact same thing in the same spot. All in all, the apartment itself was comfortable. The management however, was completely unresponsive. I even had to follow-up on my security deposit, was told it should have arrived, then got a check dated for 2 days after I called. Living at this apartment caused more stress than it was worth, and I absolutely do not recommend renting from this company under any conditions.

Did not do any measurements while being in my house and underestimated the square footage of the house by 160+ sq ft. according to my second appraiser. Did not see that his main comp was next to township dumpster and other comps were pulled from worse school district (Belmont hills). Lied about the guidelines he allegedly had to follow (within .8 miles radius, settled within last 3 months, within +/-25% sq). There are no such hard guidelines. Simply forgot to include the list of updates done to the house. What a sloppy job!!! Avoid this person at all costs.

She advised at the time of closing and when the apartment is rented. I said I had all the docs for her. She emails me with a phone call she received with someone telling her she can't sell said property. She informs me of the call but questions me like she's the police. This person who called her had no legal documents and mind you I listed my property before and she saw this. I felt like I dealing with a 5 yr old and I advised her that anyone could have been trying to make trouble for me. I then fired her and ended the contract because it's a rental property and it could have been a old tenant that called her. My time is valuable and anyone knows no one can just call and lay claim to a property so if other harassing calls came to her I would have been contacted with nonsense. I have legal rights to handle the estate and Ms. Jenkins showed her unprofessional and childish behavior in which she told me not to contact her anymore when in fact she bought hearsay from a crank call to me. I own properties around the world even in the islands and never had such craziness from a realtor. I have since hired a mature seasoned realtor that will not contact me with foolishness because they respect me and my time.
