They also have food but becuase we were in a time crunch to get back on the road to continue driving we couldn't try it because it's a 20 min wait. It's all made to order. The food from the picture looked all good. The staff was very friendly and were patient while they waited for our order. Definitely a cute place to visit with my boyfriend. They have a lot of open sitting. We choose a coffee milk tea and Oreo crème Brulee. The Oreo was aesthetic and pretty to look at. The boba was squishy and not hard just like we like our boba. One thing is that the tea had a lemon taste that it wasn't bad but it was unexpected and just wasn't something we expected. It wasn't our prefer cup of tea. Kid K saw it and wanted bubble tea after a hot day at the zoo (we had stopped for something at Trader Joe's.) Huge selection of drinks (only complaint: tiny print on menu screen on the wall, though they do also have it printed out and I bet it is on the computer kiosk.) Kid got an Oreo milk tea with bubbles, and loved it. I got a mango slushie and also loved it: refreshing, with mango bits in it. I had planned to pick up supper for later somewhere nearby, but they do have a couple of food items, Taiwanese sausage and popcorn chicken. So, saved a stop. The sausage is a small portion, just a snack; tender, flavorful, a little sweet. I'd get another. The popcorn chicken was a bigger portion, almost a meal's worth, and can be covered with several flavor powders. I got curry. There's also pepper, basil, and a few more. It was good. Tender bits of chicken, crispy, with flavor but not overwhelming. Would definitely get again. I would go a bit out of my way for this, as would Kid K. But at Sawmill and 161, and near Meijer and TJ's among many other places, you probably don't have to. Check it out. read more

This was my first time stopping in here, despite coming to this plaza frequently. I mentioned to the cashier that it was my first time coming here and she patiently went over the menu options with me and explained some customer favorites and answered any questions I had. I also noticed she was willing to do this with another group of customers while I was waiting! I think I came at a slower time, since there was no one before me in line, but my drinks came out very quickly! I loved the coconut milk tea with tapioca, I personally don't love my drinks to be overly sweet so I ordered 50% sweet, with normal ice. The bubble tea here is always great. So many flavors to choose from and I try to get a different one when I visit. It's owned by the friendliest couple who have excellent service skills. They remember us and the girls even if it has been a while. The ambiance is typical bubble tea fair with bright colors and (I think) awesome characters. Oh Vivi! Glad to see they are close to the Trader Joe's I go to on occasion. Parking is easy since the parking lot has a lot of spots. I've tried the one by campus and both times it was too sweet. And the taro tasted like a powder. No worries if it is, but I don't want to know it is. It was my first time visiting this location. It was around the lunch hour during the week so they weren't busy. This is the second location Vivi has opened and it's exciting! There's plenty of parking in the plaza and plenty of seating inside the store. There's also wifi available for customers. I usually get fruit teas here and they make it well! The fruit teas have some real fruit bits and always refreshing. My favorite drink is the Pineapple Mango Jelly Tea, or any of the Mango or Passion fruit flavors, and recommend the jelly toppings if you don't like the tapioca pearls. I also really enjoy the Taro and Matcha milk flavors, with the Pudding topping. I enjoy their drinks, however I know they're a bit pricey for a drink, about $7.50 for the large. Overall, quality drinks made by a wonderful staff. Staff here is very nice and very accommodating! They're super nice and kind and the store is very nice and bright. They sit just behind the Trader Joe's on Sawmill Rd, perfect pit stop after getting grocery. So far, they are offering some Taiwanese snacks, such as Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken and Sausage. For the Popcorn Chicken, there are 5 flavors to choose from. Another specialty dessert they offer is the Croffle. You may already can guess it is combination of a Croissant and cook in a waffle machine. It is my first time trying a Croffle and I love it. The Croffle itself is buttery and have a crispy exterior. This is their soft opening and they are still setting up so please be kind. The ambience is super cute and full of animation characters around on the walls. They are known for their flaming brown sugar crème brûlée. You can add it to any milk teas you like. I got mine with Taro milk tea with crème brûlée on top. Taste was great. They have a great selection to choose from right from fruit punches to milk teas to slushees. I love VIVI, I'm a Big Taro fan and they have lots of different Taro options. My favorite thing to get there is their Dice taro, It's so good. The fresh taro chunks are such a delightful treat! I also like that you can adjust the sugar content for it. I get 30% sugar. read more

Finally tried Vivi boba on Sawmill for the first time with a friend. This place is a little bit hard to find and doesn't have an exterior sign but it's in the same plaza as Trader Joe's. The boba here is a bit pricier than other places I've gotten boba. My friend and I each paid about $7 for our boba. I got a coconut flavor for my boba and it was quite good. I think the biggest downside to this establishment is the location- it's a little bit out of the way unless you're going to trader Joe's to do some shopping. The interior is pretty spacious and very clean- definitely a good place to sit and relax for awhile. As for the boba, I would definitely be back to try some additional flavors. Very cute little place. Extremely clean, bright, and friendly. Everyone spoke very clear and fluent English. Lots of seats, so it would be a nice spot to meet with some friends to enjoy your treats. They have some food options (croissant waffles and popcorn chicken, multiple flavors of each), which I did not try, but again, make them a nice spot to meet after school or shopping when you want a snack and not a full meal. Seems fairly new and they're off to a great start. Suggestions for future improvements would be: 1) Use WAY more ice. Mine did not have enough to counter the hot boba/ brown sugar syrup, so it was slightly colder than room temperature. 2) Add clear descriptions of each drink to the menu, describing what it tastes like, and listing all add-ins. Also mark which have tea, and which do not. 3) Make online ordering easy. They were very fast. But there's something nice about selecting exactly what you want at your leisure, and then popping in and grabbing your already-dine drink. They currently use door dash for online ordering, and I find door dash a pain. King Fu Tea has its own app, so they be competing with that convenience if they don't get their own. Still, a cute little place, and I may stop in again next time I go to Trader Joe's. Extra detail on my "the menu needs to be clearer" comment: I wish their menu were clearer and had more non-tea options. For example, they have a gorgeous, bright blue one called a "blue galaxy tea"--but I have no idea what's in it or what it tastes like, so I didn't get it. It just says "blue galaxy" and has a picture. Or there's a section of the menu called "fizzy pop", no description, so I don't know if it's fizzy like carbonated soda pop drinks, or if it has pop rocks in it, or what. I ordered the "flaming brown sugar" which turned out not to be their version of a tiger milk (milk + brown sugar boba + cream on top), but instead milk *tea* with boba and topped with milk. So, I would like it if they added descriptions of each drink and exact lists of what is in each, as well as a clear marking on whether it has tea in it or not. read more
