Well, my daughter was very sick with fever stuffy nose. She went and They saw her, took her vitals told her to go home and to stay in bed. In the evening she got worse and she called back to inform them of her worsening symptoms but they said that she needs to stay in bed. So The next day she got so sick she was taken she went to the emergency room at the hospital. She had the flu. The ER did a flu and covid test in the nose. The test for flu came out positive. She was prescribed meds for the flu and cough. This MD urgent care did nothing for my daughter. The doctors are negligent in treating her and did not properly care for her nor did a test for flu or covid. Why didn't they even do a flu or covid test? If they did my daughter would have been diagnosed correctly and given the correct medications. read more

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received today. Despite having visited previously and commended the staff, today's experience fell short. I completed online check-in before arrival and checked in at the kiosk. At 10am, I was second on the list with a scheduled time of 10:14. However, while waiting, I received messages to check in again, my name was removed from the waitlist, and then reinstated. Additionally, people who arrived after me were seen before me. When I questioned the staff about the messages and the removal of my name, I was told not to worry. However, as of 11:25am, I remain unattended in the lobby. Although I understand that emergencies may arise, there have been no urgent cases. The majority of patients are here for cold and cough symptoms, whereas I have a cut finger requiring immediate attention. Why did you request we use the online check in? Nothing is faster Nothing is working. Now another person is called I go back to the counter and the receptionist tells me I check in at 10:40 which is complete bullshit. We arrived in time to be seen our friend sprained her ankle and this was the closest urgent care we could find. Her ankle was swollen and we were worried it was fractured. We have visited this urgent care many times and were delighted with the service. Until this night. There was this very rude woman at the front desk on 02/23 at 7:20pm. There were other patients in the waiting room which she was also being rude to. Our friend who couldn't speak much because she was trying not to cry from pain, was sitting down and our other friend was putting down her information on the iPad when the front desk lady rudely asked who was the patient to which my friend on typing the information responds and points at the one sitting down. She continues to reply with "well who is the patient are you speaking for her can she not speak im confused" when she CLEARLY saw us come in carrying her and she was crying. We continue filling out the information sent to the patients phone when we see there is no tap feature to pay. We don't bring our wallets so I ask the front desk lady if I can run home my house is 2 minutes down the block and we were concerned for her ankle. She proceeds to roll her eyes and say "we will be closed you can come back tomorrow morning". It was 7:47pm they would have not been closed she just wanted to go home it seems. She was heavily racist towards a Hispanic couple that came into the office. You can tell they were unfamiliar with the urgent care and she proceeds to ignore them trying to ask for help. We end up helping the couple get settled but that front desk lady was so rude to everyone. We used to love this urgent care we are very fond of the doctor but this lady ruined our experience and we really wanted to make sure you knew this. I don't understand how an urgent care establishment has space for such a rude individual. She clearly did not care about anyone's health and not concerned with trying to help anyone out. I went to this urgent care because I was feeling really sick and experiencing serious symptoms. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like I was a burden instead of a patient. The staff member who checked me in clearly didn't want to be there, rushed, rude, and acting like it was my fault she was miserable. She barely took my blood pressure before pushing me along. Then the doctor... wow. If you hate your job that much, maybe consider a new career. He looked at my throat, asked two questions, and was halfway out the door before I could even process what was happening, had to stop him to ask questions and he answered treating me like if I was stupid, sir you are the one who studied medicine this is literally your job wtf. I left crying, feeling worse than when I walked in. No real exam, no treatment, no help nothing. And to top it all off, they couldn't verify my insurance so they charged me $100 just to be dismissed by someone who literally said, "I don't think you're that sick," with an attitude. Spoiler: I was that sick. Thank god I trusted my gut and went somewhere else where they actually cared. Save yourself the time, money, and emotional stress, go anywhere but here!!!!!! It was fine. The customer care was all over the board. I interacted with several people. Some were over the top nice some seemed confused. The dr. Didn't seem to give 2 poohs of what was really wrong. Very abrupt and just like here you go whatever. I got the antibiotics I needed so I guess it's all good. I have no idea why the low ratings. I had to wait like 5 minutes. God I wish I remembered my doctors name. All I do know is he spent a lot of time with me. I asked him some questions about things really not pertaining to my visit. He explained what his view was and the reason for it. Sure, you get in and out fast, but no tests were done. I was misdiagnosed and I called to ask to be re-evaluated and was told that I can come in but that I have to pay again and I might get a test done or not, it is at the discretion of the doctor. Of course I didn't waste my money, went to a different urgent care, I got test done to confirm what I have and a treatment that will actually going to get me better. Disclaimer this is a rating coming from a medical professional. Front desk was excellent beyond that is were it crumbles hard and fast. I drove my girlfriend who lost her voice and had fevers for the past 2 days to be seen. They called her pretty fast so automatically a short wait time was good but it was very early in the morning fresh after opening. They did not let me in back with her when we were both wearing mask and might I also state she lost her voice. So how is the intake process going to workout with a mime game of charades! Well I now realize why they do that in case your accompanied by someone in the medical field that knows their stuff! Long story short she was prescribed something that would have been suitable for a child! (So my pharmacist best friend said) as well as my colleague who is a nurse practitioner. Days later she's not better so I feel like they'd like another office visit aka copay right!?!? Also as per previous reviews no strep test done sorry but you need to test to rule out after all they did swab her for COVID. Anyways come here to blow money and still feel bad ! Went in for an ulcer and the nurse who was on shift was so mean that it made me just want to cry and leave as fast as possible.

I went to this Urgent Care because it was the only I could find that was open on Thanksgiving. The nurse at the front desk and the one that treated me were very nice, however, Dr Castillo, not so much. I went in because I felt horrible and I suspected that I had the flu. After about a 10 min wait I was brought into the examination room and tested for the flu. As they were waiting for the results, the doctor came in and I explained what I was feeling and how long ago the symptoms started. I also told him that my co-worker was coughing all over the office on Tuesday and that same night she was diagnosed with the flu. He then starts to tell me that it's probably not the flu and that even though I'm not feeling well, I'm just traumatized because my co worker was diagnosed. Meanwhile he's talking to me as if I've annoyed him by saying "I think I have the flu". Anyways after completely disregarding how poorly I was feeling, he tells me that once they have the results they'll know which meds to prescribe, but that it most likely won't be meds to treat the flu. Nurse comes back in to check the test (mind you he looked right at it before he left and couldn't tell if I had) and she walks back out saying I was positive for type A (the worst kind). Doctor walks back in with a mask and says I tested positive and he will be prescribing antibiotics. Case in point, I will never go to the urgent care again. read more

Don't EVER go there! Went in with a high fever and even though I tested negative for the FLU she said that's what I had. They then prescribed 3 types of antibiotics and it took them a day to properly call Publix with the prescription to get them made. The staff is nice, but don't seem to be very knowledgeable. I went in for UTI they sent me home with an antibiotic and took a urine culture. They never called me to go over my results. After taking the antibiotic I still felt bad so I called and left a message for the doctor and/or medical assistant, they never returned my call. I went through the results on my own google searching the medical terms. Turns out the bacteria is resistant to the medication they gave me. I called them again and they wanted me to go back and pay another $50 to go over it and give me the correct medication. Ended up going somewhere else. So disappointed. I can go into more detail, let me know if you really want to improve your customer service. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm on my own once I leave, you guys should follow through and make sure I'm ok. read more

I went to the urgent MD NOW in Miami Lakes feeling so bad of a bad cold, I told them I have not had COVID-19 because my husband and son already did the test and it was negative, but they did it any ways and of course came out NEGATIVE (Really, you are doing good business doing COVID-19 test just for nothing). Your personal is afraid to prescribe medicine (GET REAL DOCTORS). What I really make mad that they didn't prescribe me anything just to get something over the counter which didn't help at lot. I had to go again to other Urgent Care where they found me with Sinus Infections and the Doctor had to inject me with antibiotics and asteroids. I'll never go again to MD Now. read more

I came in to do a drug test for a job that I applied for and the staff was really friendly, as soon as I walked in through the door they said "Hi, how can I help you?" and I filled out the paperwork to get started, they said that I could get some free bottled water from the fridge too while I was waiting to see the doctor. I didnt even wait 15 minutes and I was being called in to see the doctor, I was amazed that they were calling me so quickly because the other places ive gone to do drug tests before have had me waiting for hours before I got to see a doctor. The doctor I saw was Mrs Faryn Brown who was very friendly and explained everything very well. I was in and out of this place with my drug test ready in less than 30 minutes, I have to say that I am really impressed! read more

I needed stitches to be removed from my forehead. I had called a few days earlier to make sure they preformed the procedure and they said yes. After arriving I was taken within 5 minutes and the doctor removed them promptly commenting on the great job that was done. I did not fell anything as he removed the stitches. I went there having heart palpitations and nausea. The lady in the front kept insisting that I have to pay a copay even after speaking to the insurance and being told that I do not have a copay, they charged me 125.00. Her comment was, "You have to pay this because it's a new insurance and we do not trust it"! Unbelievable. I paid it anyway. I received my EOB from insurance last week stating that I owed nothing. They were paid but l can not get a hold of the billing department to reimburse me. This lady in the front was charging a lot of people that were coming in, even after being told they do not have a copay. This lady needs to be retrained or let go. Called to make appointment, mentioned they do not take appointments. Asked how long would be the wait, they mentioned 15 min to be seen. So I walked in 2 min later after the call. Was only 3 people in the lobby. I waited 45 min to be called in and they called 3 other people that came in after me at the same time. Sat me in the first room yet I was attended last for the basic questions. Wanted to run a bunch of extra tests when I came in only for an ear wax removal. I asked how much longer should this take. The lady mentioned there were people with appointments and i said funny because they said there are no appointments (BS EXCUSE in other words) so I said okay please anything to speed up the process. She started giving me attitude and said you can come another day, when I was speaking to her in a calm nice tone with respect the entire time. Do not go to this MD Now! They only seem to be worried about taking your co pay and billing your insurance vs. actually helping out a person in need. The front desk staff is rude and not helpful at all. If they send meds to your pharmacy, they don't give patients an explanation as to why their medications take 2-3 days to be ready. The doctors and front desk staff should be more knowledgeable and provide alternatives if the medication is not available. read more

Stay away!! I went there for a fungal infection, a very simple visit. They charge me $150 with my Blue Cross Blue Sheild PPO. He also charge me $45 in medication which did not work. While they were seeing me they told me I should see a dermatologist. So they were already covering their ass, maybe even knowing they could not handle my fungus! I went to my Doctor Who only charged me $75 and he gave me a prescription It's only cost me $10. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these places! What a horrible experience. Went in with chest pain thinking that they were going to take care of a patient with chest pain more seriously. Waiting to be seen for over 2 hours in excruciating pain. Was so faint that I was about to pass out. If it wasn't for the fact that I do not have medical insurance, I would have gone directly to the ER and I would have been seen faster. The doctor didn't know what was wrong with me. Put 5 different possibilities for my diagnosis. This urgent care clinic is impecably clean and the staff are all lovely to be around. I went in because my doctors office closes at 5 PM and needed to check out a throat infection that was rather bothersome. I was helped within 20 minutes of getting there which is impressive considering I didn't have an appointment. The doctor that treated me was extremely polite and kind. She asked questions regarding my symptoms and then checked to see if I had an infection of the throat. I really appreciate that none of the staff was rushing through my exam, which unfortunately happens in many other clinics. Everyone I encountered today was lovely, the place was impeccably clean, and id recommend stopping by if you are in the Miami Lakes area and have a tentative schedule since they're open 8am-8pm read more
