Lacks professionalism Dr. Lawrence Lewis was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Went to MD Now at 4714 Okeechobee Blvd. in West Palm Beach for a foot injury. Wasn't treated but was mistreated by Dr. Lewis. He scolded me for coming in for treatment after 5pm even though they close at 8pm. He needs to go back to training and learn some bedside manners because he has none. The office staff were amazing, my issue is only with Dr. Lewis. Customer service is not good, started off by filling out paperwork on line and was given a spot in the queue with an expected time To be seen. Upon arrival I was told the wait time was an hour, I asked why I was given a sooner time and told the system has errors. I then proceeded to wait for 2.5 hours while watching 4 other people that came in after me get called into rooms. I had to get something checked out on a Sunday. Turns out it could develop into something very serious, so I'm happy I went in and got medication straight away. The reception was friendly, the nurse was awesome and the doctor was thorough. From checkin to checkout everything went very well. The doctor ( or perhaps nurse practitioner?) recommended following up with my regular doctor as soon as they are open. The waiting room and offices were clean. Wait time was not long at all. Didn't take my insurance spent $189 jsut for them to tell me they can't do anything and to take over the counter medicine... thanks ive been doing that. My ears are completely clogged, i know i have a sinus infection. Every-time I get sick my ears are always the biggest problem and i've been given medication she told me she couldn't give me anything lmao. Instead just gave me a lesson on why my ears are clogged. This place should be called MD Later not MD Now no urgency. Online appointment for 915. 1109 just now saw nurse. Seems like multiple drug test patients took priority. I asked front desk after hour and a half what number I was to be seen and she stated she was not sure and no order was set as patients had different symptoms. Also was told the only doctor was on a conference call... I am reasonably understanding during these times however cannot see why a set appointment would take 2 hours of waiting. I came here because my 6 year old son was complaining about the roof of his mouth and had a fever of 101... so we walk in and I see they have a sign about masks, so I ask the lady of front if they have extra. She lies to me and says no so I had to take my sick child back to the car and see if I had any old mask in the car. I find a new one for home and a old for me and head back inside. Later on a man comes in without a mask and the same lady in the front passes him a mask and continues to check him in. ‼‼‼ I was at MDNow on Okeechobee Blvd about 2 hours ago. There was TWO patients in the waiting room that were having SEVERE Corona Virus symptoms. Both patients had severe shortness of breath, I could hear them breathing. When each person was called back to see the doctor they sent them away because they are not seeing patients who are symptomatic. HOWEVER, when both of these patients left, they could barely breath & barely walk to their vehicles to leave. No ambulance was called. & NOTHING was sanitized after they left besides the front desk. Their chairs were not wiped down, no Lysol was sprayed, the door handles were not wiped down & THERE WAS NO HAND SANITIZER IN SITE IN THE WAITING ROOM. This is just a warning for anyone who's thinking about going to this location for ANYTHING especially if you aren't sick like me. read more

This is what happened to my son from treatment, or lack of treatment at this facility. They've had my review and pictures removed from google so I will post here. I've made multiple calls, emails and sent a letter with photos to risk management. The letter was signed for on February 10. No response to the letter, follow up emails or calls. This started as a simple infection. His finger was probed and he was given no antibiotics or discharge instructions. He ended up in another urgent care, an ER and then with an orthopedic surgeon and 3 procedures. Think carefully before you visit this facility. As the photos show, you will end up worse than when you went in. Don't expect a response. This morning I was told they have no risk management or compliance department. No one takes responsibility and there is no accountability here. This is NOT health care! read more

I went in yesterday feeling like my head would explode....I know along with coughing it had to be sinus related. Nicole at the front desk gave me a smile as she acknowledged me but stated she was on a call. After she was done she apologized and proceeded to get me checked in. It was one other person sitting waiting. My waiting wasn't long and the Medical Assistant came to get me. Had a great conversation with her as she got my vitals and what I was experiencing. She got me to the other room where PA Zena came in and she was very friendly and energetic. After quick Covid test and explained I had a sinus infection. Prescribed me antibiotics and was happy to send it wherever was more preferable for me. I had a really good experience although I felt awful. read more

Can't believe this is owned by the same people who have the place on forest hill. This is the second time we were turned away a half hour before closing. So lazy and unprofessional. If you say you are open until 7 you don't close at 6:30. Our vet has higher ethics. Don't waste the trip they may decide they don't feel like seeing patients. 6:15pm on 1/18/2020, went to a facility on 2007 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd great and friendly staff. Let me say this though as an urgent care facility that treats most patients who can't afford health insurance or don't have a primary doctor YOU GUYS ARE A RIP OFF!!!!.... How's is a college kids physical $25 but if we go together dad's physical is $100??!!!!...lol that's astronomical in terms of what exactly a physical consists of and the fact that it only takes 15-20min it should be one FAIR price across the board I know physicians that work for the company and not one makes close to $400hr!!!!!! read more

The place is extremely clean, the staff is very friendly & informational, and I barely had a wait time (I went in last night around 9pm) cause their open till midnight which is extremely helpful since I really didn't want to go to an emergency room. Horrible experience I called ahead of time to verify for a Covid-19 testing and was told do a check in. When I got there I specifically advised the Manager Emma that I just wanted to have a testing done and not to see a doctor in which she reassure me that no doctor would be needed. After 45 minutes I get called only to explain to me in the back that a doctor would have to see and I asked why and they told me is there policy. When I spokes to Emma she said that because I have a headache a doctor is needed but she failed to mention that up front. I took my son into this location for a school physical and to transfer his out of state shot records to the state of Florida. I told the doctor the medical issue my son was having and I also told her that he needed a script for albuterol cause he's been having issues breathing. I told her he was just at the hospital last week for this issue. She proceeded to tell me that in order for her to write me a script I would have to pay for a regular office visit in order for her to write me a script for my son. So let me get this right..... I have to pay another 145$ after I just paid you 55$ in order for you to write me a script that will assist my son with his breathing? This is so sad. Fell off my bike. Went to this MD now on Okeechobee . Took two X-rays of my arm. Dr said there's nothing wrong. But I was still in so much pain. Five days later, a radiologist called me and told me my arm was fractured . Wanted to charge another $100 to get a referral for an ortho surgeon. Went in to get a sling. I got a hard time and they didn't want to give me one. But , alas, they already billed the insurance for a sling already ! Incompetent drs and crooks.! I wouldn't go there for free! read more

Been debating weather or not to even stop in an urgent care and it ends up that this one is still open tonight in my area. So far I've been waiting for 45min and I was the only one here. 3 other patients have come in after me and have been seen. Not sure what the delay is. As I walked in I was told that there was only a PA on staff tonight, no doctor. I've been dealing with this cough for the last 4 weeks and need to get rid of it I noticed that there is a few sick people next to me in the waiting room and the A/C seems kinda warm... I'm about to leave. The lady at the front just confirmed its a $50 copay for urgent care after 40min. I asked how much longer and she went to check, came back and said it would only be a couple of minutes. Its now an hour that I signed that sheet... I only come here because it's close to my house. Every visit is an hour+ wait. How is this "Urgent care". All I needed was my lab results which required me to pay again to get them. They discuss matters in the open in the lobby, I don't feel any privacy. This is my least favorite office. I wouldn't recommend at all. read more

I went to Md Now to get a PCR Covid test. I waited 2 1/2 hours to get the test. I was told I would get results in 48 hours. now over 72 hours no results. Called customer service on hold 30 minutes person who talked to me said I needed to call the lab that processes the test they only take the test not responsible for processing and giving results. She stated due to current high numbers of Covid cases test could take up to 72 hours which I was already past. Mentioned they might want to change the ad that listened to at least 10 times stating 48 hours or less for result. i Called the lab on Saturday January 1, they were closed. Test results that take well over 3 days and maybe up to 5 days to get are not very useful. Who is going to quarantine that long without even knowing if their results are postive. I suggest if they cannot get results back in a timely manner they should stop doing the test until they are caught up. It seems it was a waist of time and money read more

A first rate Urgent Care facility. Went here at 4PM on a Sunday with what I thought was bronchitis. Was greeted by two lovely receptionists at the front desk who took my insurance and ID and information, waited two minutes, was escorted in to an inner room for blood pressure and medical history and three minutes after that was seen by a very professional and pleaser PA, who examined me and agreed I did have bronchitis. He prescribed antibiotics and cough medication. After signing out on their electronic iPad, I left to go to CVS. This Urgent Care facility is spotless. The restroom is large, super clean and attractive. Their is ample parking directly in front as well. They e-mailed me my visit summary immediately and then they called me the next morning to see how I was and asked if i had any questions or concerns. I can't tell you how impressed I was with this facility, the staff and their followup. I whole heartedly recommend Palm Beach Urgent Care. read more
