The receptionist proposed a rescheduled date, but it didn't work for my partner. Rather than try to find a solution that would work, she opted to forego any attempt at customer service and simply said "there is nothing we can do." When my partner again tried to find a reasonable solution, the receptionist lacked the training or ability to deal with situation in a mature way, and chose to hang up mid-call. To call such action unprofessional would be an understatement. The reason to cancel the appoint is totally understandable, but a qualified receptionist with even the most basic customer service skills would attempt to come up with a feasible alternative to suit the customer, especially since there would have been an $80+GST cancelling fee if my partner would have been the one who had cancelled. Any professional organization that has high standards for their customers should also have high standards for themselves, but sadly, those standards seemed nonexistent. So one star for the unprofessional customer service, and hopefully the staff will receive the basic training required to engage with customers in a professional manner in the future. I have a coming appointment on 18th, hopefully they won't cancel it before the last minute. Her treatment consisted of needles with a heat lamp. She was away from the room for the majority of the time, only returning twice to twist/wiggle the needles. I'd asked if she could do some cupping but was told it's dependent on the area. Have been to many acupuncturists over the years and have never heard that before. E-transfer or debit card only, which is not stated on their website. Typical, standard acupuncture.

I asked to call Janet back and told you that's not right, I am not going to agree with such a "deal". She asked if I have an insurance on file, I didn't. Janet started talking about "15 minutes cleaning ", but it wasn't said anywhere that cleaning is included in fee. Her next argument was that I stopped the treatment, I said no, I just asked to remove needles and continue with massage. Then, the doctor suggested me to go back and continue massage for half an hour, I refused. After all her tricks, she said: leave if you don't wanna pay. Such a wonderful customer service Janet! Lovely. Nevertheless, I paid half a price. Really disappointed because heard a lot of good reviews. My partner also had a good experience. Very very sad, I've been waiting for this appointment for 1 month! Janet, how could you? The saddest part is that my partner and I wanted to go to naturopath and chiropractor doctors. After trying for 2 days to get somebody to pick up the phone here I was finally able to speak with the receptionist to confirm that they did gift certificates and would be open until 7:00pm. (On Valentine's Day) I pulled up to the door just before 6:30pm only to find it locked with nobody in sight. I waited a couple of minutes and a man (RMT Allan Portelance according to their website) reluctantly came to the door to see what I needed. I very excitedly told him that I was there to pick up a gift certificate for a one hour RMT massage for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. He said there was nothing he could do because the receptionist had left and he "didn't deal with that stuff" I was a bit taken back and told him again that it was for a Valentine's Day gift and that the sign next to us on the door, as well as the confirmation from the receptionist earlier in the day stated that they were open for another full 30 minutes. Allan again said there was nothing he could do and shut the door on me walking away. I understand that customer service seems to be a bit of a lost art these days, but this place is clearly lacking in professionalism and good business practices as well. I would not recommend going here if you want a good experience.
