The only challenge I during this whole process was with the transport company themselves - they had agreed to a delivery period (after 8pm because my friend receiving my vehicle works full time) and the day before insisted my friend HAD to be available from 12-2pm to receive my car and they could not do any other time. They essentially forced my friend to take a day off - and on the day of delivery, the transport company kept running late and ended up delivering after 8pm anyway! That was really challenging for us working out receiving the car.

Roy was the only one that said he would try to pick up on Saturday and would deliver in a window by the following Sunday at the latest. All the others said they would pick up Monday. Roy's driver did not come on Saturday or Sunday. Monday he showed up and said it would take 7 - 10 days! She needed the car by Sunday as we were all flying back east that Friday to move her in. The driver broke down on Tuesday on his way. I called and talked first to Roy's cousin who said he needed to call the driver to get an estimate of when the repairs would be done. (Not when another driver could pick up the load and deliver on time). He never called back. I called Roy, same story - he never called back. The weekend came and went, no car, and all but a few items of my daughter's clothing were stuck in New Mexico in a broken-down truck with a nonresponsive company and driver. The car didn't get to her until the following Friday - 5 days after Roy said it would arrive (at the latest) and after she had left for an overnight orientation camping trip. I had to buy $500 worth of clothing and gear, and she had to arrange drop off with a student who she had never met, since she was camping. When I complained, Roy argued that there was no guartantee, and that the DRIVERS don't like breaking down either! I asked for a discount for all of our troubles and cost, and all he said was he would forward the request to accounting - no doubt a round file in his office. That seemed fine. We had a pickup date of 2/13 and estimated delivery date of 2/20. This was perfect because the vehicle was a gift for my wife's birthday on 2/26, so we had plenty of time. The car was picked up on time. Then came the delays and excuses. Firstly, they outsourced to a driving company called Epic Hauling, where nobody speaks English. They are all Polish. So when they call, you can't understand anything they say. Next, the delivery was delayed due to mechanical issues with the shipping truck. Not once, not twice, not 3 times. Not even 4 times. They had mechanical issues 5 separate times. And each issue caused a 2-3 day delay. Multiply that by 5 and things are not looking good. Needless to say my wife's birthday came and went. And the surprise was ruined. I always wanted to get her a car like this, and wrap it in a bow like the commercials. :( We ended up getting the vehicle in early March. Very late at night. They asked if I had a flashlight to inspect the car. And we used Google translate to communicate. Not anything like the experience I hoped for or was promised. If you don't care about how long your shipment takes, then this may be the company for you. Otherwise you have many other options.
