I brought my 3-month-old in after a small nail cutting incident that needed bandaging. I called ahead, explained the situation, gave my insurance info, and made it clear that my son was only 3 months old. They confirmed, so I drove through heat and traffic with my family to get him care. When we arrived, the lobby was empty and the front desk clerk (who seemed to be in training) started our paperwork with help from an MA. It looked like we were being checked in until another MA asked my son's age and suddenly told us they don't see children under 2 years old. They refused care after I already told them his exact age on the phone and again in person. This place completely wasted my time and more importantly delayed care for my infant. It shows a lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability. A manager clearly isn't paying attention because the same issues show up in reviews. Bottom line: don't come here. They will waste your time and put your child's care at risk. read more

I had a great experience at the MDstat Roseville location. The entire office was very clean. The staff was very kind and understanding because I had to pay out of pocket, which is very reasonably priced. I was surprised how quickly I was in and out of there. Keith, the PA who saw me was wonderful, he explained everything really well and made sure I had no questions. Took my child here. Saw NP Kyle. They ran a urinalysis which showed possible UTI and told us they'd send it off for a urine culture to confirm but to start antibiotics and they'd call us within 2 days to let us know if we should continue the medicine. We said we didn't want to do antibiotics unless necessary and they said they'd call with results within 2 days. We called back to check on results the next day and they said the provider decided not to send the urine for a urine culture. WTF? We had discussed and were told this would be sent off for a urine culture. I contacted our pediatrician who said we definitely need a urine culture, and so we had to take our sick child to get another urine test which could have been avoided had this urgent care just done what they said they were going to do. Extremely frustrating experience. read more

Excellent service from start to finish. The front desk lady was very helpful and kind. Came in for an employee requested TB test and was able to walk in and get the test done in less than 30 minutes. When I came back 2 days later to check the test the paperwork was ready and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Could not recommend enough!!! I came in due to a knife cut, which turned out not to be very bad, however I don't do well with my own injuries, so I was in quite the state. The staff was so incredibly kind and helpful! I'm also in between insurance due to starting a new job, they were very understanding. The morning staff I interacted with on 5/29/25 were so kind and went above and beyond to give exceptional care. They really took the time to understand the symptoms of my illness and thoroughly answered any questions or concerns I had. Attention KAISER Patients... As of November 2023 Kaiser partnered with MDstat. Before I write this review I want to clarify that I am a medical professional and have experiences working in Urgent Cares prior to working at hospitals. I am shocked at my experience here. I would like to start with the labs. I was swabbed 2 separate visits there in December 2023 for Covid/RSV/Flu. No one warns you that it would be sent to a Quest diagnostic lab which is apparently out of network with Kaiser. Weeks later I get an EOB that i would be responsible for 100% for $2036.44. Yes, it was $1018.22 each swab. What is the most upsetting is that these tests are FREE if I got it done at a Kaiser facility. If I was told that it was an out of network laboratory, I would've just waited to get swabbed at Kaiser. Not only would it have been FREE, but it would've been ready same day for results, and not 3 days!!! Second, Dr. Flores seems to be experiencing possible short term memory loss and selective hearing. I totally get that he's been doing this a long time and he is not a bad doctor and obviously can't help it. But, it was kind of scary how he completely thought I mentioned some things when I didn't and then forgot what I said. At times I felt that he was confusing me for a different patient. He hand written a Chest X-ray order which he confirmed that I could take it to Kaiser. I went all the way to Kaiser Hospital to get a Chest X-ray and was told they have never accepted outside written orders before. So I called MDstat and the front desk person states "well he said that's never happened before and that he's never had an issue , but he said to try Sutter" So instead of me driving to another Hospital while I'm already sick, I called Sutter. They were also super confused because they said Kaiser insurance is out of network and that I would probably get billed a lot for it. So that was so frustrating to say the least. Why would I get billed for Chest Xray when I can get it done for free at Kaiser. Liz at Billing has been very understanding and has spoken to the Supervisor about this billing issue. But I am afraid they are not able to help with this damage. I am concerned that others will be financially affected like me. So beware of going to MDstat. Especially if you have Kaiser insurance. Don't think that your copay will cover 100% of your care. Will never going back to this place ever AGAIN. read more

It's next to impossible to see a primary care physician these days unless you're established prior to around 2020-2021. Dr. Flores treated me bi weekly for an ongoing issue until I was able to finally get a referral to a specialist. He's an urgent care doctor so he's pretty quick but he is thorough and you can tell he cares about his patients getting relief. I will forever be thankful to Dr. Flores for essentially stepping in as my primary care doctor since our health care system sucks. The staff is great too. read more

Once I was at the clinic, she took my vitals and swapped me for Covid. She explained what the test would check for and when I should have the result back. brought my husband here with a by now blood soaked dressing on his lower leg after a mtn bike accident that happened about 1 hour ago.Receptionist handed him forms to fill out without even assessing his well being at all.No one else was in waiting area.The NP that saw him stated injury out of his league ,barely dabbed at wound with a few gauze pads and sent us to Sutter ER where hubby had 15 stitches placed after thorough cleaning of wound and 11/2" splinter removal which BTW the NP assured us that there were no splinters.:-(.In summary staff at MDstat urgent care was incompetent,not friendly,bathrooms filthy. read more

Dr. Flores is one of the best doctors I've ever met. Around 5 year's ago I had a very bad kidney problem (but at the time I didn't know it was that serious) and I went to the clinic. It was a very scary moment for me because it was my second year in the USA I didn't understand the language completely or how the health system worked and Dr. Flores made me feel safe. He told me I had to go to the hospital and I begged him to just prescribe me some antibiotics so that I would be ok, but he didn't - he knew better, of course. He was calm and explain to me in detail what I had to do. At the end of that day, I had emergency surgery. I don't know if I would have made it if wasn't for him. I will never forget that day. I had to go back to the clinic a couple of days ago and to my surprise, he was still there. A nice and very caring doctor. It was nice to see him again. I wish everyone to be healthy, of course. But if not I wish that people have the chance to be treated by him or doctors like him. I will forever be grateful to him. read more

I went in 2 days ago for a horrible cough and the staff were very efficient and friendly. They took me and my relatives Medi-cal with river city and Nivano , it was a pleasant surprise to find a clinic who took our Medi-cal in Roseville. I got in and out within 30 minutes. The Nurse Practitioner was thorough and gave me the antibiotics I needed. Will be returning!! read more

Couldn't performa simple verification for insurance. REFUSED to contact the provider and DEMANDED cash payment despite being in-network, no copay, no deductible, and no out of pocket. I had the insurance provider call to straighten it out and they made up some sorry story about the supervisor not being available... Dr. Flores rocks! I choose Dr Flores over my primary care Sutter doctor. He was an internal medicine doctor and he has so much knowledge. Straight shooter, he's older but for me that just means he knows more. I've been sick all week and thought I had Covid but two Covid tests days apart showed that I did not have it. I woke up this morning feeling worse than ever and knew I had bronchitis. Of course it's a holiday weekend but I headed across town to West Roseville and there was not one car in the parking lot. BONUS. I got right in and it turns out I had a sinus infection and bronchitis. My Walgreens had my prescription filled by the time I made it back to my side of town. I've taken my whole family to Dr. Flores and recommended him to my all friends. BEST PLACE IN TOWN! read more

Interesting urgent care. First let me say, my wait was not very long and the doctor did prescribe the right medication to quickly fight my infection. -easy to find -receptionist pleasant and helpful -waiting rooms needs an update -the medical assistant that brought me to the exam room was nice and capable. -Dr. looks disheveled and had stains all over his pants. -he did listen to my reason for being there and wrote it all down. Had his medical assistant take four tests -once tests were back, I was ushered to a sitting area, seemed like the doctors cube office, for his assessment and drugs he'd prescribe. He brought up politics, which seemed inappropriate. But He actually wrote out a slip for the pharmacy as a back up since many times the pharmacy does not have prescription noted, even after they call. He called it insurance and he was right. CVS had no record of their call but was able to fill based on his hand written form. The quirky doctor came thru. read more

SCAM!!!!! I went to this urgent care for stomach pain. They charged me $195 for the doctor to talk to me less than 5 minutes and prescribe medicine. I started the medication which made it even worse. I called that night and they suggested to come back in and pay an additional $150 for a shot of the same medicine or the medicine will start working in 2 days and to keep taking it. I continued taking it and day 3 it's causing worse pain and worse side effects. I called to speak with the doctor in which the front desk women were EXTREMELY RUDE and said if I want the doctor to call and fix what HE did it would cost $150 or they suggest I come in and pay $195. This place is a scam!! Please stay away unless you're looking to waste hundreds of dollars read more

MD Stat in Roseville has been a partner with me navigating a Worker's Comp injury. From the beginning, they were responsive, kind, and I've never waited more than a few minutes. They have had to explain things to me, do so much paperwork, and run interference for me with an unresponsive Liberty Mutual Claims Manager. Lovely Monica on the front desk was the first person I met, she immediately gave me crutches, as I was almost unable to walk. Dr. Gaddis and Kyle, a nurse practitioner, who is very familiar with the workings of worker's comp issues, have both been great, making sure I got the diagnostic tests I needed, then the physical therapy, and the paperwork to get it done. They actually answer the phone (!!!), treat you with respect and never hesitate to get it done. It's a great team! I will definitely be using them for other things, but can't thank them enough for hanging in there with me for the last six months to get me healthy again. read more

Honestly, I appreciated how blunt the doctor was. He honestly didn't care and didn't sugarcoat anything which I prefer. However, the only problem I had was with the medical assistant. She was actually incompetent. I understand that not everyone knows everything, but she didn't know anything about what I was asking her about. "What's this injection for?" I ask her, "Oh I don't know, I was just told to give this to you". I would like to know what injection I'm getting. I was feeling pretty light-headed and the doctor told me to stay in the room till I felt better usually when there's a patient with a fall risk, you monitor them. I literally think she went to the bathroom or sat on her phone. Yes, I'm a nurse and I know health care patients are a nightmare but also I think I have a right to be disappointed in my care. I felt like I was put on the back burner. If you go here and need a medical assistant, pray you don't get the one with nails and dark curly hair. read more

None of the medical employees wear masks, no management is present, the doctor will talk about your condition and treatment in a common area which is not okay, privacy is very important! In addition, staff talks about patient information very loudly, the other patients in the waiting room are able to hear very clearly your information.
