Fun vibe and great pizza Food: we tried 4 different slices. The Sicilians are the way to go - so flavorful! I also recommend the vodka slice! Service: good and fast Ambience: such a fun and low key spot

I had some fantastic Neapolitan pizza here. On both pies, the crust had really delicious, developed flavor, and the perfect crispy but chewy texture. My favorite was the Sake Mountain Way, with a bright and fruity sauce paired with rich and delicious cheese. I also enjoyed the vegetarian version of Ricky Ricotta, though I felt the vegan sausage was a bit too soft for my taste. For dessert, we had the bananamisu. It was pretty weird - the coffee flavor is concentrated on the bottom, so most of it is really just banana pudding with some chocolate crumb on top. The banana chips on top were the best part, and I really wish there were more of them. I'd skip it next time. I also loved the retro decor and vintage posters on the inside, which made for a cozy vibe with dim lighting. The prices worked out to $78 with tax and tip for two people. This is pretty reasonable, and comes down a bit if you skip dessert.

Really fresh pizza. The king harry classic was so good (tomato sauce, prosciutto, basil). The hellboy is good if you like a savory/sweet combo. The staff are kind, but they can be kind of busy sometimes. I love going at night, it feels intimate and cozy, and I've seen a live singer perform once.

When I have friends visiting from out of that want a great NYC style pizza yet want to have a sit down experience, Paulie Gee's always comes to mind. The service is alway welcoming and the vibe is just right for the cool / hip neighborhood of Greenpoint. My favorites here are the Hellboy which is their version of the classic pepperoni with the perfect amount of Mike's Hot Honey. I like to get it with extra garlic topping as it brings out the flavors more. The Cesar salad is also delicious, however they are not shy with the dressing so ask for it on the side if you like it lighter on the dressing. All in all, I highly recommend Paulie Gee's for a classic NY pizza experience. I will be back to try some of the square pizza's they also have on the menu!

If you're looking for late-night pizza in Greenpoint, Paulie Gee's is hard to beat -- especially at 1am on a weekend. The Hellboy slice is my go-to here. Spicy, balanced, and packed with flavor, it's exactly what you want at that hour without feeling sloppy or overdone. It holds up every time. Being open until 2am makes this place a clutch option, and it consistently delivers when a lot of spots don't. Reliable, satisfying, and one of the best late-night slice stops in Brooklyn.

pizza is solid! drinks are quite strong as well. only gripe is that there was a rat behind our table (my friend is scared of rats) and when we told the other table beside us the waiter overheard us talking and gave them free drinks but not us until we brought it up directly to them. they say its because of the construction nearby so maybe wait until thats over to visit this spot.

Live music on Fridays in this cozy casual pizza shop. Love the atompsphere here and the pizza was amazing and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the neffys white pie and the hellboy so you get one of each sauce base. Pizookie was good a but a bit sweet for my liking. Wood fired chicken wings were juicy and lemon garlic parmesan was a no brainer.

Fun, trendy pizza place. Loved the entrance stepping into the path of the wood floors leading you to the back where there are tables mostly in community seatings. The back wall is where the magic happens! That is where " The Napoli" pizza oven greets you! We were the last customers for the evening for our server Jordan. This was only her 2nd day on the job, yet friendliness, positive vibe and energy and knowledge lead us to believe as if she has been working there for years! The pizza was delectable with layers of flavors with every bite. The butter beans were tastefully fantastic! The vegan OG salad as well. The fried clams were scrumptious ! When in Brooklyn and when you are craving for pizza, this place IS A MUST to satisfy just that!! And, Don't be confused by the name thinking this must be of Asian Cuisine . Oh, and when you are here, ask for Jordan!

Also packed with a line outside the door for late lunch - but the interior is spacious with also outdoor seating! We got the Hell Boy and Mutz, which was a lot flavorful than a typical white pie with a great oomph from the garlic. We've tried the Hell Boy slice at MSG but getting it fresh and hot here is best - the sesame dough crunch is unreal!

Staff were super friendly. Service was quick. The pizza!!!! Please send me a pie to thr Bronx. That sesame crust. The sauce. Loved it all!

I Came to Brooklyn with Family to Attend the Peruvian Festival. Decided it was too crowded, so we came to Paully Gees for Pizza. Pies were cooked in a short time from ordering to table. One of the Best Pizzas I've ever had the privilege of tasting. Fresh Ingredients, great restaurant Ambiance, Nostalgic Feel and Vibe. Awesome Wait Staff and a Comfortable relaxing Environment. Will definitely be back & highly recommend other to come here. The Pizza in my photo is called the "Daniela Spinaci". Ingredients are Shaved Parmesan Reggiano, Fior Di Latte, Sliced Fresh Garlic, Fresh Baby Spinach & Olive Oil. We also added Sausage to the Pie,which does not normally come with the list of ingredients. In my honest opinion the addition of the Crumbled Sausage put it over the top as to it's overall flavor Profile. All top notch Fresh Ingredients. "The BEST"

Great pizza, as simple as that. A neighborhood institution although I still think the restaurant is too dark.

Do they still sell the vegan apple pie?

I’m sorry, we do not. Sorry again,…

What kind of root beer does Pauly G's have if any. Or if not is there a place nearby to buy something non-supermarket.?

We serve Dr. Brown’s Root Beer.

Did this used to be on First Ave in East village?

    No it was not.

Hey there! We're looking for venues to host a large-ish party this coming November (2021) and wanted to see if the main Greenpoint location might be open for event bookings by then? Thanks!

We no longer book private events, but if you book your event at Greenpoint Loft we can provide you pizza from our slice shop for one of your offerings.…

Does this restaurant sell any individual slices?

We do not serve individual slices at our wood-fired location at 60 Greenpoint Avenue. We do serve slices at our slice shop around the corner at 110 Franklin Street.

Do you have gluten free pizza?

    I’m sorry, we do not.

Do you offer large private parties and booking the entire restaurant? If so, is there an existing prix fixe menu and cost per person?

Thanks for considering us. We do not. I am sorry. Thanks again,…

In Chicago, they have a special trio of square thick pizzas called "Logan Squares", so do they make this style here in Brooklyn?

We do not, but at Paulie Gee’s Slice Shop we serve square slices similar to traditional NY style Sicilian slices.…

My wife is allergic to tomatoes. Do you have white pizza?

Yes we have numerous pizzas that are mad without tomatoes. Thanks,…

Hi there! My husband and I absolutely love Paulie's. Unfortunately he has recently been diagnosed with celiac and can no longer eat any gluten. Any gluten free pasta substitutions? Are any of the main dishes gluten free?

I’m sorry but unfortunately we do not have any gluten free entrées. Regrettably,…

Are the vegan desserts dairy and soy free? Do they use garbanzo flour and applesauce in the vegan desserts? Do the vegan deserts have agave in them?

Please email me at jobs@pauliegee.com and I will provide you with ingredient labels. Thanks,…

    Do they have high chairs?

Yes we do. Thanks for inquiring,…

    How big are your pizzas?

    12”.

Do you all have cauliflower crust?!

We do not. Sorry. Paulie Gee

Is there a kids menu? Also, would you be able to accommodate a large party of 10 people if we were to arrive when you first open on a Sunday?

We do not have a kids menu, but we do have simple pizzas that children prefer, as well as apple and grape juice. We can accommodate you as long as your entire party is present. Thanks for inquiring.

Being a vegan is hard to decide what to eat I try to stay away from substitution meats , when I come here which I love btw, how come I'm not allowed to add extra veggies on my pizza , spinach or onions?

People do some cringeworthy things when you allow them build their own pie. Tell your server I said you can add whatever you want and show this response to them. The one caveat is that you can’t make the pie too heavy or we will have a hard time…

Do you have gluten free pizza options?

I am sorry, but we do not. Paulie Gee

Can you order half and half on 1 pizza? i.e. a pizza with half porkypineapple and half ricky ricotta

We do not provide that option. Thanks,…

Do they have any oil free vegan options (pizza)?

Not on the menu but we have a few pies we can modify without sacrificing quality. A heads up would be helpful.

The menu is pretty diverse with various appetizers, sushi, and also ramen/curry so your standard izakaya fare. One of my favorite dishes here has been the chirashi. The fish was very fresh and it's pretty affordable. I've only ever been here in groups of two and I probably would recommend it for smaller groups because the space itself is small and most of the tables are two-seaters if I recall correctly.

It's been open for a few years, so clearly it has a good enough formula to keep the neighborhood happy. I have been here once before, but returned last week after dining several meals at Tomoni in Jackson Heights. Apparently, the owners are friends. Nonetheless, I needed to make the comparison. After my first few bites of their Tora Don and Chirashi Don, it was clear that this restaurant has the better quality seafood. Each slice of sashimi had vibrant colors, clean taste, and the proper texture. Tomoni is not bad, but fall slightly short of this caliber. With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.
