While talking to her, it was nice to learn that she is from Ghana. I love supporting minority-owned businesses. That was a plus for me. My appointment lasted for about an hour. She checked on me periodically while I sat in the sauna room. She even brought me some water and some of the green juice that she makes to give to you as part of the body wrap program. My waxer was also sitting with them, engaging in what I felt was an inappropriate conversation. Based on the tone and comments being made, it was clear there was frustration, which made me uncomfortable as a first-time client. I arrived two minutes after my scheduled appointment time and was informed there was a nine-minute grace period. Despite this, I was asked to wait and then waited almost three additional minutes before being taken to the room. This was confusing, as it appeared the waxer was available, and it made me feel as though I was late or inconveniencing the staff, which was not the case. This was my first time ever getting waxed and my first visit to a European Wax Center. I explained multiple times that I was nervous. While my waxer, Mariah, was okay overall, her patience with me was very limited. I did not feel reassured or supported, which made the experience more stressful than it needed to be. After my service, I was brought to the front to pay and asked about leaving a tip. I declined, as I was not satisfied with my experience. In response, I heard an "oop" from my waxer and another staff member. I found this comment to be rude and unprofessional. That moment significantly impacted my overall experience, bringing it from a 7 down to a 4. Due to this experience, I will not be returning, nor will I be visiting any wax center in the future. I believe the staff would benefit greatly from additional customer service training, especially when working with first-time clients.

I'm here to see Destiny who does bomb hair, is quick and accommodating out here in Largo. The shopping center (BLVD!) is remote but you can't miss it and Phenix is in the back by the Chik Fil A. Service is cool. Im not even gonna lie, it's got it's hood moments. PpL are selling their wares while you get your hair slayed. The guy with the dinners, the guy with the fake designer bags and shoes and of course the perfume man. I received confirmations beforehand and the staff even checked to see if I needed anything else. LOVE. I get there and OMG. It's serene, clean, and a good-smelling machine. It smelled FIRE throughout. Not overwhelming but so pleasant. The decor was stunning. So pretty and luxurious. But really, the service? TUHHHH. INCREÍBLE. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the women at the front desk, onward, every single employee who walked by or guided me from point A to point B was sooo kind. This is big for me: EVERYONE SPOKE. Anyone working here who crossed my line of vision SPOKE TO ME kindly and in a welcoming way. They do nails, hair, massages, all types of things - it's a wholeeee spa and the owner (obviously a Black woman and bosssssss) did her thing here. Now, as for my mani/pedi: also great. Haha. If you were expecting something different, I have nothing for you. Alayna did a fantastic job and took her time. They have Dazzle Dry!
