Staff isn't knowledgeable of state law. I wouldn't trust that you'll receive support from the staff and the district is just as bad.

She is happy there and looks forward to attending each and everyday, which means a lot to me as a parent. I have consistently seen staff members who are attentive, caring, and intentional about maintaining a clean environment, including regularly cleaning classrooms and toys. I would also like to sincerely thank the staff, especially Miss Ronna and Miss Jayme, for their dedication and care. Overall, I feel confident knowing my child is in a safe, well-managed, and supportive setting.

When I called the main customer service number, I spoke with a very kind representative who assured me that the district manager would contact me to discuss my concerns. Unfortunately, I never received that callback. I also spoke with the school manager directly. In my experience, the conversation was dismissive rather than productive. I explained that the prolonged, high-pitched screaming from a few children echoes throughout the surrounding apartment community and has become a daily disruption for nearby residents. I was told that the children are allowed to scream as a form of self-expression. While I understand the importance of allowing children to express themselves, I believe there should also be reasonable consideration for the people who live nearby and are affected by the constant noise. I work from home several days each week, and the screaming is loud enough to be heard clearly inside my apartment, even with the windows closed. This has become a recurring quality-of-life issue. If this continues without any effort to address it, I will have no choice but to contact the local police non-emergency line to request a welfare check whenever I hear prolonged screaming that reasonably causes concern. When children are screaming continuously at such an extreme volume, it can be difficult for nearby residents to distinguish normal play from a child who may genuinely need help. I sincerely hope the daycare will work with the surrounding community so that this situation can be resolved without further escalation.

Our son has attended Village Learning for a while now and I have never experienced a place more…read morespecial. The instructors are so kind and patient. It has been so obvious how much they truly care for every kid. The state of the property can only be described as "magical". The children have the opportunity to play and learn outside, gardening, taking care of animals, and learning real-life skills through play. Our son has grown academically, learning to read and write...as well as just as a person - learning patience, sharing, regulating his emotions, etc. They also focus on healthy foods and habits and teaching a good foundation for how to take of your body and the earth. Something that matters a lot to me in addition to all the other things is cleanliness. The property inside and out is extremely well cared for and safe. All kids wash their hands on arrival and many times throughout the day - and they always keep parents in the loop if something is "going around". I would recommend Village Learning to anyone who wants a magical upbringing for their kids...a true home away from home for them.

They practice by doing which I really appreciate. They love being outdoors in Ms. Melodie's beautiful yards and it adds such a special touch of WA to be in the middle of the tall pine trees with horses, chickens and rabbits! I highly recommend Village Learning to any parent/child!!

This place is amazing. The first daycare my children were placed in was terrible and I was…read morereluctant to place my girls in another one. However, from the beginning Alexandra was patient and was willing to address any concerns I had about my previous experience. My oldest daughter had a speech delay which made her behavior - challenging. This didn't intimidate Alexandra though, who immediately began looking into ways she could continue to support my daughter while in her care. When that same daughter left for kindergarten, she was ahead of her peers academically - being able to write her entire alphabet and knowing all the letters and sounds they made. My youngest daughter is still in her care and, when I gave Alexandra feedback about some ways she could better support kids who were going into kindergarten, she listened to the feedback and made thoughtful changes to the curriculum that that future children will be even better prepared. However, she doesn't just take feedback from me. I know that other parents are able to express any concerns they have and Alexandra listens and implements any changes as necessary. She loves the kids in her care and always has their best interests in mind. I must note, while Alexandra is absolutely amazing - she cannot do it alone. But that's not a cause for concern! When she recently expanded her daycare, she was very thoughtful about the staff she brought in. Eunice, Amanda and Davika, her assistants, are also phenomenal. In fact, thanks to them, I think her expansion went off without a hitch and she successfully expanded her center! If you're looking for a daycare, I know a spot will open up when my youngest goes off to kindergarten this fall - I'd get on her wait list now. You won't be disappointed!

Watching his growth over these past few months has been amazing, and we owe so much of that to the wonderful, caring staff. When he first started, it was a big transition--he had been home with me since birth, and adjusting to a new environment and new caregivers was tough. He cried a lot and had trouble napping at first. But the staff was so patient and gentle with him through it all. Their support and consistency helped him feel safe and loved, and it made all the difference. Now, he's excited to go to school--he even runs into the classroom and forgets to say goodbye! As a parent, there's nothing better than knowing your child feels happy, secure, and cared for. Thank you to everyone at Bright Horizons at Longacres for helping him grow into such a confident little person. We are so grateful.

If you look at the staff picture wall by the entrance only a handful of teachers have been there longer than a year. We also noticed that staff can be very stressed at times due to being shuffled around from class to class. We finally left (intending it to be temporary) due to our second child being born. Our son had his pictures taken right before we gave our notice and requested to purchase it as well but we never heard back after multiple attempts. TL:DR Depending on the teacher that you have your experience can vary by a lot. If management can do a better job with keeping the staff less stressed/happy I don't think we would hesitate with coming back.
