The friendly service was incredible. Everyone here truly loves their job, the dentist was excellent, no pain, no digging for dollars, she was honest about my treatment, assistants were fun and caring, the hygienist was detailed as they come. Can't say enough about the difference at Main Street, already set set appointments for my wife and oldest adult son...they are efficient, quick, barely wait more than a minute after check in. She took her time with me as opposed to other dentists who just pop in for five minutes at the end of your appointment. Her assistant Gabby, was also really friendly and polite and tried to make the x-rays as easy as possible. Lynn at the front desk went out of her way to get me on the schedule and call my insurance to see what would be covered and when since I am on a recently purchased insurance plan. I had a really questionable dentist back in CA and avoided going to the dentist for a while when I moved out here. I guess you can say Dr. Schtakleff has restored my faith in dentistry :P. She didn't pressure me into fancy dental gadgets/procedures but told me affordable ways to manage my teeth and stop any issues before they get worse. She even did my cleaning herself! Another major plus is that the entire practice was crystal clean! Everything from the bathrooms to the sanitized tools, to the fact that both Gabby and Dr. Schtakleff are decked out in surgical scrubs! You had me at "hygiene."

Visited Inspire Dental - Apex in August 2025. My family member does not speak English, so we had to…read moreaccompany them for communication. The initial exam was extremely brief, with no clear explanation, no X-rays shown, and no introductions -- we didn't know who was the dentist or assistant. During the deep cleaning, a hygienist/assistant administered anesthesia and did the entire procedure without the dentist present or supervising. The dentist only appeared afterward, did not introduce herself, and gave no post-procedure guidance. I had to ask basic questions about care and eating afterward. Later, we were told additional fillings were required, which were never mentioned during the visit. Billing seemed excessive. When we raised concerns, the dentist adamantly insisted everything was done correctly, dismissed our questions, and offered no apology or acknowledgment. The receptionist was also unprofessional and dismissive when asked about billing. The clinic later refused to continue care rather than address the issues. Overall, this experience demonstrated arrogance, lack of transparency, and disregard for patient communication and rights.

He was pleased and said it would be a good fit for us. So I got an appt. Then we decided to make an appt for my son and he got in faster then my appt as I assume there was a cancellation and we got lucky making the appt. My son went in and liked it a lot and the hygienist (I think Alex?) was great and so was the dentist. My appt was today and it was a breeze and everyone was very nice and I was happy with everything. If you struggle with anxiety you should go here. They didn't make me feel bad about anything. And thankfully all 3 of us are cavity free.

There are some good office staff also. I went to Royal Oak Dental yesterday to have a temporary crown removed and a new crown put in place. The person that was to remove the temp crown started working on me but it was painful and I didn't know what to expect . This person was tugging at pullng the temp crown off pulled back with the instrument she was using and cut my lip she was not aware she did that until she saw the blood. I didn't have trust in her after that. Treat a patient like a person not a machine. I eventually had a numbing agent . Dr Smith is very clever and I believe he is good at what he does. He finally came along and gave me a perfunctory one liner that could infer I was responsible for this injury. He did what he had to do with the crown and stated he would come back when I had numerous xrays. Dr Smith never came back he must have got too busy.

It's only one of the most widely used insurances for dental care. They said delta dental didn't understand raising cost. The cost to go to the dentist is already very exuberant and we rely on our insurance to help cover these cost. Sound like signature dental is greedy and they don't care about their patients.
