Made tee times for 7 persons ON THEIR WEBSITE. One had a medical emergency and couldn't"t make it. Was charged $49 p/p. When I got there a sign said seniors $42. Was told that there is no senior rate on the website and the $49 was for the "convienence" of booking on line. No REFUND or REBATE offered or given. For the pre paid person who didn't golf I was told "you booked through GOLF NOW, talk to them". I made the booking through the Meadowink website and never in my life have used GOLF NOW. So my advice is be careful when using their website. Needless to say they will never see me again. And a class in people skills for their counter people is recommended. read more

As for the golf - the course wasn't in too bad of shape. Dry, so the ball ran a lot. The fairways were cut and the roughs not too long. The greens were in surprising good shape...obviously being watered and cut nicely. The layout is interesting, from the standpoint of being rolling with a lot of greens unseen from the tees. Sloped fairways had good drives rolling off. Fun though, my son and I had a good round. The food service though...I gotta tell you...literally the BEST hamburger I've had in I don't know how long! Bacon cheeseburger...go to Meadowink just for that! Great fries and coleslaw as well. Seriously...GO THERE FOR A BURGER! Astonishingly good! Nice service staff too, very friendly and polite. First rate! Four stars for the golf...100 stars for the food. read more

Meadowink Golf Course - Golf Near Me - Murrysville, Pennsylvania

I'm somewhat surprised I hadn't played this course before and today was my first time there. It's got typical western Pennsylvania golf vibes with an old clubhouse, varying levels of areas that need some further investment. That said, their outdoor seating and what looks to be a recently remodeled clubhouse was impressive actually (roof might need attention though as it looks like it's about to fall in on itself). They had a nice bar area, clean and updated locker rooms/restrooms and a friendly staff. The course was in pretty good shape and the greens were fast with some challenging pin locations. There are a decent amount of holes where a driver isn't in play off the tee box. The course needs some investment (tee boxes/stairs, retaining walls, landscaping) but otherwise we enjoyed it. read more

Slow doesn't even describe it! Tee's off 20 mins late (not because of us). It took over 3 hours to get to the 10th hole! They must've been placing golfers only playing 9 holes In-between everyone else because we had to wait to tee off on every single hole after the 10th. Like really wait. The whole course took over 6 hours to play. Like wth! I enjoy golf and am in zero rush to be done, but when you're just standing around waiting at every hole, that's ridiculous and this place needs better time management. Fun course over all, but really make sure you have the whole day to spend here. And that you don't mind waiting and waiting and waiting. I think I'd rather play with slow play Cantlay.... read more

Played there this weekend. Coarse is over priced and go into the pro shop to get a pass for the back nine as I only played nine but paid for 18. They said that they don't do that. This is the only coarse that I've ever been to that doesn't do that. Will never be going back here. This coarse is a $40-45 coarse on the weekend. read more

I am a member of Meadowink pool and called to plan a birthday party for my daughter. I have worked with Val Sims in the past scheduling parties for my daughter but she was unavailable at the time. I spoke with Eric Pockel who introduced himself as the general manager. I explained that I would like to have 15-20 guests for my party on June 26th. He informed me that since my "guests" were not members he couldn't take the chance of having them on the grounds due to COVID and he could not honor my request. So he is basically saying members do not have COVID?? I questioned him on his "policy" since members are given up to 15 guest passes with their membership to use at any time. They also have weekly swim meets and most are NOT members of the pool...do these people have COVID?? He also informed me there would be no outside food or drink permitted for the party. I find this to be contradicting since guests bring coolers filled with food and drink. Needless to say, after 10 minutes of back and forth with this guy I have cancelled my membership and will contact my credit card company to file a dispute on the charges. Just 2 years ago Meadowink was ready to close due to low membership and lack of money. They may want to take a look at how Eric runs this place...he is part of the problem. read more

I went golfing with my girlfriend during the day on a Friday. It was a holiday for some and a nice day so it was fairly crowded. We called and reserved a tee time and showed up about 10 minutes early. Our first issue was with the coupon we purchased online through their website. It should have been scannable at their pro shop where you pay, however, the gentleman didn't know how to scan it so we were charged full price. That was a red flag, but we moved on, figuring we could use the coupon some other time this summer. We were told they were out of carts and we'd have to wait for someone to finish up. We went to our car to grab our equipment and when we got back a foursome had somehow slipped in front of us. This was annoying since we booked out time and would play quicker than a foursome but we weren't in any rush. The first nine went fairly well. We had to wait to tee off on each hole because of the foursome in front of us and people in front of them. However, as I said we weren't in a rush, we were out to have fun and enjoy the day. There were people behind us as well - at least 2-3 groups that we could see that would sometimes wait behind us as we began to tee off as the foursome in front of us played along. At the turn we took a quick break to go to the bathroom and moved on to the tenth hole. At this point, there wasn't anyone behind us - those that were behind us must have only been playing nine. By the time we were on the green at 13, we had people behind us teeing off. We were putting on the green at 14 when a ranger parked behind us, and walked up to the green. While I was putting he told us we needed to speed up and that "the whole course is backed up behind us and no one is in front of us". We looked back and the people directly behind us weren't even finished putting on the previous green. I said "okay, understood". He continued to linger around and said we were not playing fast enough. We needed to play double par and move on - mind you we were playing a max of 8 strokes even on the par 5s. He still stood there. I said okay again. He finally rode off. At this point my girlfriend and I were upset for being scolded like children when we did nothing wrong. We played through the next hole quickly and decided to call it a day and head home. We wanted to enjoy ourselves and felt we were treated very rudely. Clearly this course prioritizes money and quick turnover above all else. Luckily, we have other favorite courses in the area - we simply wanted to try a new one. We will not be back to Meadowink again with all the other great courses run by friendly people in southwestern Pennsylvania. read more

Great rates for twilight hours. A lot of blind shots on the course, but another good beginners course to play on. The course is very well maintained. read more
