Best spot for ski rentals before going to Mt. Hood! Been there many times over the years and the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. The equipment is well maintained and always high quality. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable, especially if you do a long term rental. They are willing to work with you on pick up/drop off times and have lockers for after hours drop offs if you go night skiing. Highly recommend! read more

We must have passed by this business at least a couple dozen times on our way to skibowl, never rented anything there before this week. I guess we were just used to long waits and expensive rentals at the ski resort. this time I wanted to try something new and I wanted to support small local business. No doubt the ski traffic has been greatly reduced and many businesses are hanging by a thread. I was so glad I did. Not only did I save at least 40bucks over 2 sets of rental skis but also valuable time by not having to wait in line at the resort. I saved at least a good 30 min total. The friendly staff was very knowledgeable, helping my teen picking out a very comfortable overall. My kid was very happy with the purchase. $70, good price. Prompt. Courteous. Very Helpful. Good prices. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted and promptly attended to. This was awesome as we were in a hurry to beat weekend morning traffic, deal with parking challenges and get to a lesson in time. So, it was nice not to have to stress about or get frustrated with renting skis. The staff member was super cool with helping my quiet and shy 11-year old boy get fitted for boots and skis quickly. And they completed the transaction quickly. They also remembered to ask if we needed a helmet or snow park pass - which are things you don't want to forget! This ski season we decided to rent our gear - we are both nurses from out of state and happened to stop and rent skis from Meadowlark. From the fitting, to the rental, to the return, they were outstanding in their service. They gave us brand new skis and the boots were the most comfortable I've ever rented. The owner and crew are friendly, efficient and helpful. They know that you're eager to grab your gear and to head to the mountain and they make getting what you need easy. Rented downhill skis here for a day at Mt. Hood Meadows. I've rented from a few shops in Sandy, Government Camp and at the resort and these guys were faster than all of them! Walked in and was greeted immediately. The story was decently busy but still aware of everyone walking in. Just needed some snowboard boots and they made sure to fit them to my board just right. It was getting late and we had made a last minute decision to get Cross Country ski rentals and called 2 places up in Sandy about 5:30pm. The first one I got an answering machine and left a message, with no return call. I called Meadowlark and an employee answered immediately. I told him we have never cross country skied or did rentals but wanted to get some in the early am. The guy was VERY kind and explained how to go online to reserve them and they will make sure all fits and works good for us before we leave. We got there this morning and were greeted upon walking through the door. The guy that helped us got our boots and had us try them on and the rest of the gear. We checked out quickly and were on our way. When we returned them they came out to the car to help get our stuff. SUPER great team of employees and owner. One of the best retail experiences I've had lately thanks to these ski rental rentals. After having a horrible experience a few doors down at Otto's I was relieved they accommodated my need to split pairs since I'm human and my feet are slightly different lengths. They were fast, took the time to show me how to use and care for the rental equipment and were very friendly and fun to talk to. They even saved me a buck over that other place.... Needed someone to tune up a board for my cousin. It had been stored in a basement for 3 years and was rusted with several deep scratches. These guys did a great job! The edges are beautiful and clean, no rust in sight and they fixed all the scratches! I could not be more pleased with the results. I'm just starting my daughter with skiing and rented equipment at skibowl a few times - never again. Meadowlark was so much better with the personal service and fitting. We were initially helped by an enthusiastic young man but the owner stepped in and took the time to make sure we got the correct boot size. I really appreciated that he helped us get the right equipment. He also set a good example for his employee who did a fine job otherwise getting us set up. It's also got to be faster than getting through the resort rental chaos. A quick stop in Sandy made for a nice halfway break in the drive up and back. It was our first time renting from Meadowlark and they exceeded our expectations. We reserved our equipment on their website the night before (no payment required!) and they were ready for us when we arrived. They helped make sure our snowboard gear was the right sizing and we were quickly out the door. They even let me keep my car in their parking lot for free all day too. Once we got to Timberline - I was worried I had forgotten to lock my car. I called them up and they went out to my car to check. THEY WENT AND CHECKED MY CAR!! (I had locked it.) I was so impressed they were willing to extend the extra effort for me, so I could have peace of mind up on the mountain.
