Dr. Sofia Kassotakis was very kind, caring and thorough in her initial treatment of Max, and a subsequent follow-up. Max is progressing well and soon should be as good as new thanks to her and the staff at Meadows Cat Hospital. I have been working with Dr George and her staff for approximately 3mo now with my special needs kitty. We've been going to Meadows for the past decade, and I can't recommend it enough. All of their staff are incredibly helpful and are clearly putting the animal first. An example of them going beyond the normal care is our cat is currently on a liquid Prednisolone for IBD, and their current source of the medication has changed their recipe to go from water-based to oil-based. Our cat truly does not like this newer formula. After hearing that and confirming that the tablet would not work for us, Alex and Dr. Masoero looked for other options available at other online pharmacies. After finding a possible option but noting that the formula was slightly different due to flavoring, they first confirmed the ingredients on the medication with the pharmacy, and getting our accounts and prescriptions set up for going forward. All of us are very happy with the results, Cogwheel being the most happy :) read more

They see Dr. Maseiro (sp) and you can tell that she really loves kitties and so do others who work there. Both Dr. George and Dr. Proctor have gone above and beyond for us. We first started coming after our littlest, Keanu, had an ER visit that needed follow up, and we didn't have a primary at the time. He was also diagnosed with bladder stones, and with Dr. Proctor's help, we found a diet that wouldn't upset his system and it also dissolved his stones! Shortly after, his brother Alex started having tummy issues as well. Dr. George took him in on such short notice, and even recommended a nearby bakery for some stress relief, as it was my hubby's birthday on top of it! (We still haven't gone, sorry!!! ) Both boys are now back to their normal selves, and we couldn't be more grateful for everything they've done for us. Best veterinary clinic for your precious furry friend. I found them at a very difficult time. My 20 yo Ragdoll had a huge mass I had been told elsewhere, more than once, was inoperable. When I found Meadows and Dr. Masero, it turned out it was operable. But by then he had other issues that would compromise the outcome. Dr. Masero worked with us to try and get him healthy enough for surgery but it wasn't meant to be. She and the staff were incredibly caring and compassionate as I said goodbye to my best friend and loving companion. It's at the worst times in your life you find the best people, and Dr. Masero and the staff at Meadows Cat Hospital are the best. We were rushed into unnecessary and expensive surgery. We were told it was an emergency, but later it turned out to be an "exploratory" surgery as it returned no negative test results or any specific diagnosis. Sadly four months later our cat passed away. read more

After about 5 calls to other vets who all suggested I keep calling, I called Meadows. They were extremely helpful, friendly, and willing to talk to me about my concerns. After a few short holds they gave me informed advice on what to do next. My husband + I moved 2 Snoqualmie from SanDiego almost 4 years ago. During our 25-ish years together, we have rescued exactly 1/2 dozen boy kitty-cats. We have lost 3 = they all lived 2 B 20 including our baby who had diabetes and required 2 insulin shots in his neck 4 nearly 2 decades. We always had a tech from our SD vet perform in-home visits when we traveled. Since we basically moved here right B4 COVID, we have not needed in-home care but... MeadowsCatHospital has been a truly miraculous development 4 our furry family. Of our 3 pale-orange fellas = TheButterScotchBandits = 1 came from a sketchy house w/ pit bulls, 1 from the outskirts of DisneyLand where there R seemingly hundreds of feral cats and 1 from a DumpSter. The last adopted dude actually flew w/ me on a plane from SD 2 SeaTac. Meadows is the ultimate insurance policy and the wisest investment U can make as an owner of cat(s). Rescue babies R usually terrified of doorbells and knocks and even dogs barking on TV. Our "children" used 2 B that way until they were no longer around dogs in a closed environment. Once upon a time, we had a cat suffer a tragic eye injury just from harmless tumbling around. Ever since then, alllllll of our kitties (our magic # is 3 boys = Marsha/Jan/Cindy) go every 3 weeks like clockwork 2 Meadows and have SoftPaws glued 2 their front feetsies. Absolutely wonderful Hospital! I have been searching for a Cat Specific Clinic for my kitties and Meadow Cat Hospital is the perfect place! Dr. George and her husband are both extremely knowledgeable and compassionate when it comes to your cats. We took in my 4 year old Calico who ended up having six stones in her bladder and they explained everything that would need to happen to help her as well as the costs which i really appreciate. They were able to do a surgery on her that day and even spent the time afterwards answering literally any question we had regarding not only or sick girl, but our other cats. When I find an excellent vet (such as Dr George), I tend to want my kitties to see only that particular vet. Well, this summer both of my kitties got respiratory colds two weeks apart, so I had to set appointments with two other vets at Meadows (Dr Sparks and Dr Masoero), whom I had never met. They were as knowledgeable and proactive as Dr George, and both handled my kitties very gently and made the experiences less stressful. If not for Dr. Laura George and her incredible staff, our 12 year old, (kitten) cat was in dire straights. We had taken him to the Animal Hospital of Newport Hills where they polished his teeth, SOLD us a 600$ PLAN, and they told us nothing was wrong with him. Within 24 hours he was going to die. They just shook their shoulders. I asked for some sort of pain reliever or ANYTHING...I got one, they literally said, "Good idea." They give you honest opinions on what is best. My cat fuzzybutt was diagnosed with glaucoma and needed enucleation surgery (eye removal) I have complete confidence that they treated her as they would have their own pet. Took a quick tour of their cat boarding area that is a nice service for when you might need it. Back in September 2023 my cat had blocked urinary tract. Even after I had gotten it unblocked at an emergency vet hospital he was still not doing well after I got him home. I gave it a few days and still wasn't doing well so I looked up veterinary in my area and saw this place. I liked that it is a cat hospital. So I called and told them what was going on. They were so kind to me on the phone and told me they would call right back after she consulted with the doctor. They called back right away and even though they were fully booked they wanted to fit him in especially after everything he had been through. I brought him in and they had me drop him off. After about 45 mins I get a call they wanted to do some testing but they wanted to do less expensive route. Which I appreciated. They felt he had a UTI which he did end up having. They gave him medication and they did it in liquid form after I told them the nightmare I was having with pills. Dr. George was so easy to talk to and so was everyone at Meadows cat hospital. Koji got the best care and he is doing so well after 5 months. I definitely recommend them!! read more

I really appreciate their understanding of my situation and Dr. George was thorough and honest about the treatment process, as well as her provided recommendations on what my kittens needed or didn't need. I switched to Meadows after losing confidence in my vet of 20+ years. Have had several recent visits with two of my cats for chronically undiagnosed health issues as well as an urgent new issue, seeing both Dr. Proctor and Dr. George, and am very happy I made the switch. Each time, they were knowledgeable about diagnosing and treating the conditions, as well as doing the needed diagnostics in-house, including x-rays, urgent labs, and microscopic analysis, and the recommended treatments solved the problems. Both Dr. Proctor and Dr. George were excellent with communication as well as compassion. They have a small-clinic feel to them (in a good way), and though not the primary reason I chose them, I love the fact that they're a cats-only vet and my cats don't have to be further stressed by listening to barking dogs. read more

Just moved to Issaquah with our tabby who got sick in June2016. Unfortunately she died on the way to the hospital, my wife in tears. The staff was genuinely compassionate and sympathetic for our loss and helped us thru that very sad event. Since then we adopted a 6 yr old cat that had behavioral issues which we consulted with Nick, the practice manager and Dr. George. The service and help we received was exceptional.
