As a fairly recent pet owner, I don't have a ton of experience with Vet clinics, but I've had a great experience with Bellevue's Cat Care Clinic. Right off Bellevue way, the clinic is easy to find and parking doesn't seem like it would be an issue. The staff and doctors are friendly, and made the process very easy and comfortable for me and my cat, Garcon. My first visit was by way of a groupon (which is currently unavailable) which made for a great value to get in for a checkup, nail trim, deworming, and parasite screening. I also added his updated immunizations while I was there. Their prices appear to be on the higher side, but that is to be expected if you're a Bellevue pet owner. As long as you have insurance for the unexpected, I think it is worth paying a bit of a premium for friendly quality service that you don't need often. My buddy made himself at home fairly quickly. The exam rooms are clean and organized- and create a safe space for your cat to quickly get acclimated. For the nail trimming (or presumably other procedures) they have you wait in the exam room while they take your cat elsewhere. Given my limited experience and exposure, I would say the Cat Care Clinic is worthy of your Cat's needs.

He turns his head at the thought!

I'm no fan. Will NEVER go back and I live 13 blocks away and own three beautiful cats. Brought my tabby in for an exam, I wanted to get his teeth cleaned, the vet had zero personality or compassion and my experience was all about the upsell as opposed to the steps best to help cat the proposed bill was way over $1300 for a teeth cleaning with all the "well you should", first earn my business! Lame. Oh, and I spent the $140 I was expecting to apply towards a cleaning on nothing but a rabies booster. Did I mention lame? We used to go to Newport Hills Animal Hospital and I'll spend the extra time going back. We have many pets, this is the worst vet I've met.

I definitely recommend taking your cat here! Dr. Neale and Dr. Bierman are both excellent vets. They are super calm, patient, and thorough. The techs are also great with cats, incredibly helpful, and understanding of all my questions. Overall, communication is professional and everyone is really calm, friendly, and capable -- fostering a positive experience for cats and humans alike. And the rooms have fun cat shelves, too!

Doc saved Gizmo's Life and his staff has kept her healthy for me. She will be 18 years old Jan 6th 2019.

    Calm kitty after his appointment!

However there came a day when their care didn't meet my standards. Rocco is a toy Yorkie; he's very small. In fact, was the smallest dog in their small dog area. On the particular day in question, I noticed via their webcam that at least one, maybe two other dogs, were bullying him. I did not care for the lack of quick resolve for this, and I had communicated it. I believe it was the same day or nearly the same day, I observed the same in person. Upon giving their staff my concerns, he was shortly thereafter dismissed from daycare. After receiving a barrage of cancellation emails from Dogtopia, their owner had the audacity of emailing me instead of just calling. She provided a very passive aggressive letter, cc'ing different people as well. Rather than taking responsibility, she decided to kick him out of daycare. This was unacceptable, and I had responded a few days following the receipt of her email. You can find her email in full below: ------ Dear Mr. Marker: Rocco is a wonderful dog, and we have truly loved having him in our playrooms. It troubles me to hear, however, that you are unhappy with our services. Given your dissatisfaction with our open-play design, with our approach to safety, and with our staff, we believe that another care environment may be a better match for you. We emphatically want every family to feel confident and comfortable in their daycare choice. As your clearly displayed displeasure demonstrates, we are evidently not the right fit for you and thus we are unlikely to meet your expectations in the long term. We will miss Rocco, but we genuinely hope you find a daycare or care arrangement that aligns with what you're wanting. We wish you both the very best. Wishing you joy, Allison Christian Rau, owner Dogtopia of Redmond and Dogtopia of Bellevue Phone: Redmond (425) 201-7373, Bellevue (425) 516-7676 Website: Redmond | Bellevue ----- All that had to be done was an acknowledgment of my concerns, in the moment, and a greater level of attentiveness. This business clearly doesn't respond well to criticism. They opted for the easy way out instead of just working through the issues. I had no issues with their "open-play design"; it was their level of attentiveness. Rocco was not the aggressor here, rather it was the slightly larger dogs in their care. Unfortunately, I must advise you, the reader, that if you have a small dog, I would not recommend this daycare as a result of my experience.

We have been pleased bringing Orzo here 2x a week so far even though my husband and I both work from home. When Orzo comes back, he is SO tired so we know he's had a full day of play with other dogs. This has helped him with his chewing problem at home when we aren't able to exercise him the amount he would prefer. Everybody we have encountered at Dogtopia knows and loves Orzo. We attended a pride event in Downtown Bellevue and when he got to the Dogtopia stall, he recognized everybody and vice versa. This was only after a couple of months of going to Dogtopia. So far, the staff have been responsive to emailing and calling us back when we have inquiries. They also have grooming and boarding services, which we've utilized. Easy parking for drop off and pick up and flexible if we ever need to switch dates. Unlimited webcam access when they are at the doggy daycare so you can see what they are up to. Can't ask for more!

Why would you put your dog at a kennel type place if you have or had this option. My dog is practically like family to Cindy now. It's honestly invaluable what she provides. My dog is never in a crate, and gets to hang with Cindy and her family, go out back and check out the chickens and other animals, he's not locked up in a cage for 20 of 24 hours a day. I get the overnight kennel places probably not having the man power to pay one on one attention to those dogs, but it's just that your dog is going from free reign of your own home to being in a kennel for hours at a time. It's a huge adjustment and difference. With Cindy, they're going from your home, to a home. She gives you updates too on how your dog is doing and sometimes even sends off photos too. I recommend Cindy to any & everyone who's in need for a dog sitter.

My little cat Murray was in the hospital, very sick, and needed to be transferred from her vet in Lodi to a specialist vet in Sacramento. After a frantic search on Yelp, I found Cindy and she dropped everything, on a Saturday afternoon, and drove from Manteca to pick up Murray in Lodi and take her to Sacramento. Cindy even stayed in Sacramento for several hours until I could get there. Cindy made it possible for my beloved Murray to get the best medical care and I am forever grateful. She sent me a video of Murray, which I cherish. Thank you, Cindy, your kindness, generosity of spirit and integrity are treasures; thank you for caring about my Murray as if she were your own.

They take any instructions you leave them seriously (such as feeding instructions, specific care, etc). The property is absolutely beautiful and you can tell the design was very intentional and made by someone who loves dogs. Every time we pick up Nugget she acts as if she doesn't even recognize us! The daycare hours are 7am to 7pm on weekdays and to book daycare, you can do so online through a client portal. For certain days of the week, they have different themes, like movie Mondays where the dogs watch a Disney move during daycare or frozen yogurt Thursdays where you can purchase a frozen yogurt sundae for your fur baby to enjoy during daycare and they will send you a picture of your dog enjoying their sundae. Love these bonuses here at Pickles! As my friend said, Pickles is the Nordstrom's of doggy daycare! In addition to daycare, I've participated in events hosted here, like dog yoga, which is tons of fun! You can practice yoga with your dog and it's always a fun time. Pickles Playland does a great job of connecting dog parents with one another, which is a great way to get to know others.
