They did not take my insurance since it is from California, therefore my exam for contacts, glasses and dilation was out of pocket. Which was not even expensive versus other offices. Loved how knowledgeable James Swedberg is, you can tell the man knows what he is talking about. Throughly checked my eyes, got a pair of contacts to go and now I'm not as blind as a bat. She snapped at me to take a clipboard and then told me to tell my son to go into the room and she will be there. No hello, how are you... nothing. She then proceeded to go out to the eye care center and snap at the employees for giving me incorrect info on the phone, she was so loud about it I could hear it from the waiting room. Had my son not already been with the doctor, we would have left. I went out there to try to defend them and she continued to argue and be rude. I told her that she was being unprofessional and she wanted to argue about that. I will pay double to never go back here. We even left without getting glasses from the eye care center and willing to pay more for that too so I don't have to deal with his staff any longer.

It's such a goose bump moment when your name and issue is heard across the lobby. This is a common practice they fail to realize what's happening. Many seniors can't hear - but many can, those that can the information is loud and the ones that can't just want to hear the information and directive provided by the desk. It's in all offices not just those serving seniors. This is a problem please redesign all check-in locations and people just sit and listen. He was great and so knowledgeable and pleasant. He put my mind at ease due to another Opthalmologist in the valley, Brimhall, who had no time for me! The exam was thorough, his assistant was amazing, scheduled time was perfect, prescribed a better version of one of my eye drops. Agreed that I continue on with eye drops (a few different kinds), and my regimen was working well and needed to continue doing what I have been doing! Dr. Brimhall wanted to take me off of my NECESSARY eye gel at night. I have Sjogren's! I'm feeling blessed to now have a great Opthalmologist! What a relief! I saw Dr. Amber Quave for the first time in August, and not only did she and the Craig Clinic get me all set for my surgery in October asap, but they have now gotten ALL of my complex health issues addressed/handled, and I am finally caught up to date. Example: I sent them an online message at 6 am after a Holiday weekend, and they addressed it with my Medical Supply company before noon that same day. Before I even called the other company! I've found this Clinic to outstanding, and much more efficient and effective than my previous Dr. Offices. I consider myself lucky to have found them and Dr. Amber Quave!
