I think businesses just don't think. In this office like many. As we waited for appointment we knew every one's name, the procedure preformed, if new or returning patient, as they did ours so much for Hippa. It's such a goose bump moment when your name and issue is heard across the lobby. This is a common practice they fail to realize what's happening. Many seniors can't hear - but many can, those that can the information is loud and the ones that can't just want to hear the information and directive provided by the desk. It's in all offices not just those serving seniors. This is a problem please redesign all check-in locations and people just sit and listen. This is wrong Hippa Hippa Hippa ‍‍ When leaving the appointment I asked the receptionist I quote"Does he need any drops the Doctor didn't say can you ask?" the older African American desk person replies rudely "He Who"? I have 20/20 vision while I was there I had eye infection and read E instead of F he's respond was "have you thought about getting reading glasses" . Don't bother. Dr. Liang and this practice is so busy (multiple offices too) that they think patients are willing to neglect all due diligence and just go with trust me bro - you'll find out later from self-absorbed gatekeepers. This is not the first or only Ophthalmology surgery office that expects a patient to schedule a 3-hour evaluation and go through a bunch of tests without knowing the potential costs associated with cataract surgery. The evaluations are necessary to determine a true path forward but a lot of these offices just do not have the customer service focus or foresight, no pun intended, to understand that the patient needs to know what they are signing up for. After having to ask to speak with someone else than the receptionist, Jake was able to give me a cursory idea of what some of the cost might be above what insurance covers. But then trying to negotiate the logistics was a nightmare. The surgery counselor/schedulers (Celeste) do not care one bit about patient concerns. She seemed annoyed that a patient asked to speak with a scheduler and have the temerity to want some answers before scheduling an evaluation. This is also when they explain to you how much better you're going to see with the upgraded types of lenses. I tried to explain repeatedly that I live 3 hours away so the scheduling and logistics is important. Immediately she said the first available surgery slot would not be until the 2nd week in August. Then she contradicted herself when I asked her again if that would still be the case assuming it was a traditional basic surgery with no issues - then she said that it could be sooner. So I said okay, so when would be the soonest and she said August. I could not get a straight answer. At least two of the CfS administrative employees were put out by my persisting with requests for information that I needed in order to make a educated decision. I think that the scheduler was not forthright and used her position to deter me from being a patient. It seems odd that a doctor's office would expect a patient to wait months for surgery when typically they schedule it because they can't see well. I think that patients who use their insurance without upgrading the surgery or lens are probably not their favorites. I canceled the appointment I set up. read more

I was scheduled today at Rampart Tivoli. did not get proper directions to get to the office. when I spoke with scheduler I asked for directions. She just said I will email you the address. I didnt not find the office. When I got to Tivoli I Was calling the office no one answered my call. I called scheduling and staff Nancy she said a lot of people get lost thats the reason they are moving soon. Lost two hrs of my time, work. staff very unprofessional. People, if you value you eyes and want to be treated like a human being, go elsewhere. i went for a follow up after having eve surgery and no doctor was there, they FORGOT to reschedule me. When I was there waiting, I seen this happen to a gentleman in a wheelchair and they had to comeback. The prescription drugs I received from CVS didn't match the paperwork that was given to me by coordinator. The follow up for the day after surgery and the weekly checkup was with a different doctor but when I went for a final checkup ,the doctor told me they wanted a second opinion with the doctor that did the surgery. They out right lied to me when I went in for a checkup because I had a stye which I never had before in my life and told me I had to pay for the visit because the stye was around my eye and not in the eye. A style develops because the inner ducts of the eyelids are clogged which is in the eye. The receptionist took my hundred dollar and paid $85 for my office visit and kept the $15 dollar for herself. And guess what, my eye is still red after the surgery procedure and they don't care about you. True story. read more

I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus (extra fluid in my brain) end of last year and had seen my ophthalmologist in January. She told me my optic nerves were pale and showing signs of atrophy and that she he believed the pressure from the extra fluid in my brain was the cause (note: my eyes didn't look like this when I had seen her several years previously). I then saw a neuro-ophthalmologist who confirmed they believed the hydrocephalus was to blame for the damage to my eyes. I decided to get one more professional opinion as brain surgery was the only option to help relieve the pressure and I just wanted to be sure before making such a big decision. I saw Dr. El-Mansoury and was shocked that she seemed so unconcerned about the state of my eyes considering the doctors I had already seen were pretty concerned. She basically agreed that my nerves looked pale and she stated that I can get as many opinions as I want and eventually someone will tell me to "cut my head open." She reluctantly said I could follow up in 6 months if I wanted to check my eyes again. She made me feel like I was making a big deal out of nothing. It's only my vision! Obviously, I won't be going back. I have since had surgery and my eye tests have already shown improvement. All I'm saying is get the second opinion and a third if you have to! I'm glad El-Mansoury wasn't the only doctor I saw. I really feel like my eyes would have sustained damage to the point of no return or I would have lost my vision entirely if I remained under her care. read more

The medical staff are great. Dr Liang performed cataract surgery on both eyes and in January of this year performed a cornea transplant on my right eye. She is a fantastic surgeon and I could not say anything bad about her work before, during, and after surgery. My complaint would lie in her scheduling. When Dr. Liang tells me she wants to see my eye in two months and the office staff tells me her earliest available appt is April 26, 2024 there is a problem. I saw Dr Liang Dec. 15 and April 26 is about 4.5 months not about two months I'm not going in for an eye exam. I had transplant surgery and Dr. Liang has monitored my eye closely. It should be easier to find good office staff than finding great surgeons like Dr. Liang. read more

Dr. Jaylen Monsoury did an internal mullerectomy on me and she did a fantastic job. Even with the swelling and bruising I can tell the difference. She is straight forward, no nonsense and professional. I just love her approach. She explained every step and assured me that all would be well. It was a quick procedure. You could tell that she has done thousands of these. Her staff was incredible. They showed kindness, compassion, and professionalism throughout the whole process. They were very comforting and reassuring, and very communicative. I would highly recommend her and her staff to take care of your eye needs. I found her to be the best. Hopefully on to the eyebrow lift. Thank you doctor for all that you do. You make a difference in a beautiful and positive way. Love Center for sight. Came highly recommended which was the biggest let down. I came to this location twice two weeks from each and received no relief! Paid my copay and waited in the back 15 minutes for a 5 minute visit ... I was told I would need to see the other eye doctor at the other location in Henderson then I was dismissed. My concerns weren't met or heard nor were they fixed! I have Tricare one of the best insurance out there and they could've ran whatever test they needed to figure out why my eye ball was swollen but I left there in more pain then when I started. Now I'm being billed when they shouldve billed my inurance. read more

I've had right eye pain for over a year, and my optometrist found nothing wrong, so I went to an Ophthalmologist at center for sight. I specifically said I did not want to pay $45 for a prescription because I just got one at the Optometrist, but she still checked my prescription strength and deemed it exactly the same as the one I told her. Okay. Still got charged $45. Maybe my mistake, not a huge deal. Then, Dr. Hart comes into the examination room, manhandles my face, barely listens to my pain, and calls it a "cluster headache". I told him it had been over a year and he still seemed convinced it was nothing to do with my eye and just a headache. Well, it wasn't, and the next doctor I saw immediately diagnosed me with the correct issue. Somehow after insurance, I still owed $150, not sure why it's more expensive than any of the other doctors I have seen about this. I didn't feel cared about or taken seriously at this center at all, and had to go somewhere else to get a correct diagnosis and treatment. My only good review is that the woman who checked my prescription was very pleasant and competent. read more

Very disappointed i was refer to this place from my regular eye doctor since they were part of my insurance network it took a while for surgery, during this time they stop being part of my part of my insurance network however I was NEVER notify of this and they make me paid full price for my surgery once I discovered this I contact my insurance and was advice by my insurance to ask the Summerlin location to bill my insurance since it was refer from my regular doctor they will paid when the Summerlin office contact me the lady was very rude and stated "WE DONT BILL YOUR INSURANCE "so before you consider going with this place make sure with your insurance. We met with the Dr. and customer relations personnel. They told me it's $2000 for the laser procedure to remove cataracts. I just found out it's way way more than that. The facility fee is over $2000 and the anesthesia fee is over $850. That's per eye. So you are looking at over $5000 per eye. It's not $2000. The insurance company kept charging me and giving me bills. If I ask Southeast medical they will forward me to ask Ctr for sight and then I am passed to Health plan of Nevada. read more

I was referred to Dr Liang for cataract surgery from several friends that had theirs done. Friends told me to make sure you ask for Dr Luang to perform the surgery. I had my left eye done first. I had previous lasik surgery on my left eye by Dr Siems and he did a terrible surgery. Never had good vision. I was worried the cataract surgery wouldn't improve vision. After Dr Liang completed the left eye surgery, i was seeing 20/20...I was very elated and glad i paid for the optional ORA procedure done for $375...Highly recommend it. I have been going to Center For Sight for over 4 years and never had a problem until recently. I had to change my medical insurance since the last visit to them and had my new health care provider send over a referral for my next visit in April. Center for Sight received my referral, which had my new Dr and new insurance listed, well over 6 months before my visit in April, but no one bothered to contact me until the night before my appointment to tell me they did not accept my new insurance so I would need to cancel my appointment for the next day or pay out of pocket for my services. If I would have been contacted from Center For Sight back when they received my referral, I would not now have to be out looking for another eye doctor. I have glaucoma and need medicine for my eyes regularly and I now understand why Center For Sight would not respond to Walgreens messages for refills so this leaves me without medicine until I have an appointment in July with another doctor. The office staff shows they have very POOR patient care. read more

Total factory approach for testing. Only get to see the doctor for about 5 minutes max at the end. They tortured me in surgery, after destruction of the lense they let me lay there for about 45 minutes before they took me into surgery to put in the new lense, where I finally got anesthesia. I have an acute angle-closure glaucoma and had been seeing doctors at this place here in Vegas. I asked and paid to get my FMLA signed so I can have an intermittent leave whenever my eyes get worst but the specialist won't signed it saying I still can drive and be able to work in my condition, and not blind yet. So, even if my eyes flared up, got dizzy and throwing up everytime I moved with all the headaches and sensitivity to lights, he would still recommend me to go to work. I've accompanied my parents for several years and I have to say, I am constantly impressed by all of their staff. They are polite, friendly and efficient. Jessica, the surgery scheduler is my favorite. Friendly, smiling and always follows up in timely manner. There is also a young Hispanic lady at the front who is very kind and friendly too. The doctors are wonderful too. The owner/founder Dr. Liang doesn't speak much.. nor smile much and can/has come across as a bit cold, but I don't think she means to be.. just super busy (?). But her skills are tops! Probably the very best eye surgeon in town. Dr. Mansury operates on my father recently and she is friendly, so capable and awesome.
