No one from our house ordered anything from MealDealers and yet someone got our information, ordered something, and delivered food to our location. We've tried to talk to staff in email, over the phone, and even gone in person, to no avail. This is unacceptable, and we cannot accept this food. We didn't order it, we don't know what it is, we want to give it back. If we can't, we're going to throw it out, which only wastes your time and money to deliver to someone who didn't even know your organization existed until they showed up at our door. read more

Meal Dealers is great! Friendly delivery people, good pricing, and great tasting. I only wish that ALL of their items had nutritional information (some things like pancakes don't have labels or nutrition information on the website - even though I've asked months ago). Also, they recently cancelled all orders because of poor weather - but perhaps they should have offered simply delaying orders instead of a waiting a whole week for the next batch of orders. I cannot recommend this service because of the quality of the food and lack of response from the company. I sent Alex, the owner an email on 2/23/17, 2/27/18, and 2/28/18 + 1 direct message on IG (which was seen). ZERO response from my FOUR attempts. NEGATIVES: 1. Each meal has 600-1300 mg (YES 1300) of sodium so if you want to retain a lot of water this is for you! 2. List of ingredients is overwhelming! I had to take a photo on my phone to zoom in on the ingredients list because it has THAT many listed that you cannot read the fine print. 3. Their shrimp dish has locust bean gum and gellan gum which are food additives found in processed food! What's the point of having meal prep? 4. The food tastes salty, like if you rinsed the food it would still taste like salt after. 5. The food lasts a full week? I'm not sure if the food is safe for that long of a period of time, what kind of chemicals/preservatives do they use? 6. Did not respond to 3 emails and 1 direct message on IG. Do you really want to work with a company that is non-responsive? POSITIVES: They deliver. ***WARNING:*** I have retained so much water from the amount of sodium from their food that I have edema. I placed an order this Saturday based upon the recommendation of a friend. My friend told me the order would be available on Sunday. Although I found it hard to believe, the website did not make any indications that contradicted my friends recommendation. Sure enough, I received the my meals on Sunday. There was a little confusion on how I was going to receive my meals, but I got them and that is what's important. My order had me picking them up, but instead they were delivered to my house. It was a wasted drive, but as a whole, I was happy to get my meals. Bumped my review down to a 3 star. The only reason why I have it at a 3 star is because they were able to turn around a Saturday order and have meals on Sunday. There's plenty of flexibility. And the prices are extremely reasonable! Additionally, they even have a Rewards program! So you can earn points to use for discounts. Score! Their delivery service is pretty awesome too. The drivers will send you a text to let you know of the delivery window so you can be ready to receive your meals. They have all been very professional and polite. They can even provide you cooler bags with ice packs if they're asked to leave your meals with the hotel front desk. They have the option to customize to your needs, which I didn't need at the time...but it is a great benefit to their service. My wife and I have been ordering from meal dealers for over a year now and we couldn't be happier. The food is delicious, plain and simple. My favorites are the steak fajita and the meatballs (and that's coming from an Italian!), but really everything is very tasty! I traveled from out of town for a week and I heard of meal dealers through a friend. I was able to communicate directly with the owner about what I needed and when. If you're already subscribed with them, you can place your orders Saturday by midnight and be good to go but if you're new or have specific macros, you need to give them about a 48 hour heads up. As a fitness competitor, staying on track during travel is very important. I was hoping to have my meals by Monday afternoon but due to delivery issues, I didn't get them until Tuesday night at 10:30pm. Not really sure what was going on with their delivery situation but I waited 8 hours for them to show up. Sadly, when they arrived, the majority of them were room temperature even though the deliver guy claimed they had been chilled. There were various meals from pasta and meatballs to protein pancakes and meatballs to chicken fajitas. It was definitely a large arrangement. The owner didn't charge me full price but I did pay a small amount. Unfortunately, due to the improper handling of the meals, I did get very sick from two of the meals I did consume. Honestly, I am not going to write them off Completely but just be aware you might have to personally track your meals until you have them physically in hand. read more

You gotta be kidding me, I have been eating Alex's healthy delivered meals for three weeks, and lost 9 pounds. This is restaurant quality food, if you order from this company you will be amazed by the caloric count on these delicious meals. I am a foodie, when I found out they were actually made in a commercial kitchen in Sterling Virginia that is regulated by the Loudoun County health Department, I realized that this was a safe and sanitary location where they were producing these meals. Apparently they serve them to cadets at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. If you are health-conscious, and have a busy schedule I highly recommend utilizing their product. I even found a code that gave me a discount. It was GI 14. I got my meals for seven dollars apiece. With the cost of food today, and their unique restaurant quality meals, how can it go wrong? If I give this company 10 stars I would do it. Give this company a try, if you've read my other reviews you know that I'm not always a happy camper. I have been a customer for approximately 6 months and receive a recurring order. I am a pescatarian and there are options for me to choose from for my meals. The packaging for each meal is sturdy and holds up to the microwave and transport from home to work. I have gotten prompt responses from the staff, and each delivery person has been more than friendly. They will call me prior to arrival and if I am not there will leave a cooler bag with my meals in them. My schedule is at work and at home is very tight and Mealdealers allows me to eat tasty meals with minimal prep that I could not otherwise make for myself on most days. read more

I had to go out of town for a week and I had already received my food for the week so I froze it hoping it would still be ok when I returned. To my surprised it was just as delicious as if it were prepared for that week. The only reason I won't give this company 5 stars is because they are slow to respond to messages and no one ever answers the number on their website. So first impression the food is tasty i have not had all my meals yet just one . I will say the turn around time is great i placed my order. Literally at 11:50 something on a saturday. The only reason so far im leaving it at three stars is because i feel like at least my first meal which was the chicken apple patty and rice could of at least had one more patty. I have been using Meal Dealers off and on for over a year. The food is always consistently good and the variety of meals keeps me coming back. Alex the owner cares very much about his clients and making sure they are happy, I have only ever had one issue with a drop off time, Alex fixed it immediately and had his driver personally drop off my meals at my office. I used mealdealers for a month long business trip to DC and cannot speak highly enough of the great food, quality, and professionalism of the delivery drivers. I like to adhere to my diet as much as possible and eat food that tastes good (a little hard when you live in a hotel). Mealdealers allowed me to do this and conveniently! The chicken, vegetables and rice/sweet potatoes are all cooked to perfection and seasoned well. I tried their pumpkin pancakes and beef,egg and potato hash for breakfast. I actually crave those pancakes! The pancakes come with breakfast sausage and they amazing as well. The beef breakfast hash is equally good and served with a corn pico and salsa. I need to learn how to make it at home. All meals were delivered once a week to my room and everything was packaged right. The drivers communicate when they arrive so never surprised on delivery times and super great guys. Oh and the price is actually not bad (I'm pretty cheap so that's saying something). Absolutely delicious food omg. I bought four meals first to just try it out (I've never done meal prep before). When I received the food I wish I had purchased for a whole weeks worth. In a matter of two days my I felt my stomach was flatter and I had so much energy even without my pre workout! As far as taste they get an A+. Customer communication is great as well. I noticed they didn't put my Banana bread on my initial order and Alex had emailed me saying that they burnt the banana bread so he put an extra meal instead. Very fast response and he also gave me $15 refund and I didn't have to ask! I told my boyfriend about this company and now he's on board too!
