What made this worse was watching other individuals who appeared to have a personal relationship with the doctor walk in without appointments and be taken ahead of us. It felt completely unprofessional and disrespectful of our time. When we were finally seen, the interaction did not improve. Dr. Mellano came across as defensive and combative when we asked reasonable questions about our daughter's condition. After reviewing MRIs and X-rays that were ordered through this same clinic, he ultimately said he didn't know what the problem was, suggested her pain (ongoing for over a year) would "eventually go away," and advised us to seek a specialist outside of his clinic. We left with no diagnosis, no treatment plan, and no confidence in the care provided. For a pediatric patient dealing with long-term pain, this level of dismissal and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I would caution others to read reviews carefully and consider other providers.

From the moment I arrived, I was treated with respect and kindness. The staff made me feel comfortable right away, and everyone I encountered was professional, friendly, and very respectful. The optimal window for this surgery is within 3 weeks of the injury, but because of the MRI delay, Dr. Nuccion wasn't able to do the surgery until 6 weeks after. 5 1/2 months later, I am still not fully recovered, but I am well on my way doing light pushups and resuming tennis. I don't know what full recovery looks like a couple of months from now in terms of my strength and athletic capacity compared to before, but it's 100% guaranteed to be far better than the massive limitations I would've had to live with for the rest of my life had Dr Nuccion not been able to pull off the surgery despite the delay.
