Where do i start? This was absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced in any area of motorsport in my life.To preface, i am a fairly new rider and i have trouble finding specific parts as my bike isn't so popular and i am unexperienced in finding specifics. You would think a motorcycle part/service shop would help me find what I need right ? It started monday when i ordered a tire for my honda cb300r and at first they were very helpful and attentive. i made the order and they assured me it would be here in 2 days (wednesday presumably) and i would recieve a confirmation email (i never got one) . I called back in wednesday to ask about my order and it seems they couldn't find it. after a while and after talking to 2 people they randomly found it and said it would take another 2 days (they totally just forgot about it and didn't tell me lol i wouldve just appreciated the honesty more). When i made that phone call on wednesday, i asked for help inquiring a battery for the bike as it was failing and i needed a new one. I was told to just google it after asking for help as again I am inexperienced and would appreciate the help from a MOTORCYCLE SPECIFIC PART STORE. you would think so right? the time finally rolls around to friday. My tire was in and I had bought a battery on my own time, from a store not even 5 minutes away from this shop. You would think that when they are actively working on your bike, they would call you with updates wether something isnt going right, specific questions or any issues that arise within the process. Nope. Turns out I had gotten the wrong battery (which i understand is my fault) but i had asked for help finding it and they refused and i really thought i had the right one after some google searches. Never did they tell me that they dont use parts that they dont sell themselves. They apparently took the battery that i had brought as a "favor" when they never specified that it would be an issue. Doesnt matter because they were extremely unhelpful in finding the correct part. When they called to tell me this, i immediately offered to go buy the right battery to resolve the issue instantly as i just desperately wanted out of this already. Nope. The mechanic had already left a while ago and they put everything back together so now i was stuck with an extra labor cost when the service i had asked for was not resolved. Extremely unprofessional to even have the audacity to require me to pay an extra $20 for the "mechanic's trouble" Extremely unprofessional. This is highway robbery and I will never take my bike here again and will tell friends and family to steer clear from this place !! They left a scratch on my bike during the tire replacing which they denied. i had mentioned over and over again i had just bought the bike. i knew what i bought. i knew what scratches were and weren't there. While waiting in the office a bit for a ride home while they "worked" on my bike, i also noticed bottle of alcohol in plain view on their desk. Already had been opened and half empty. I am not one to judge, but when it comes to a business practice especially something as crucial as repair and service on a motorcycle, i am definitely judging !! that is a liability issue ! in plain view ! And how do i know they were not drinking on the job ? absolutely ridiculous and beyond unprofessional. .this is the worst service repair shop i have ever dealt with in my life. Never again. Their response to my google review didn't even acknowledge the other points in my review. They know they are in the wrong. Never agin! read more

I found MeanCycles because they are a distributor of one of the type of rims on my bike. Julio, sent it to the manufacturer, got me a new hub which was basically impossible to find, they actually made a whole new part and with shipping the price was very fair. Great customer service, always responsive and even gave me his cell #. No shipping was added and the site has flashing free shipping on all orders over 99.00 Then they sent me a link in an email and charged me an addtional 25.00 to ship after the purchase was already made. They said they already process the payment which made this the most expensive purchase for the same tire I could have bought thru Amazon or another vendor. Mean cycle your business will fail if you continue do mislead customers and conduct fraudulent with online fraudulent practices like this. If you value your life, do not order ANYTHING from this business. My boyfriend purchased their bags set in 2019 and installed them with the help of my friend who owns a customer bike shop. We had issues with the bag recently sounding like a rattle, he was doing 70 on the freeway and the bags bolts ripped through the fiber glass sent the bag flying almost hit a car and was smacked by a semi truck that came to a screaming halt. We let the company know this was at fault by theirs due to the bolts ripping through the fiber glass and now they will not reimburse him or take blame for their faulty product. We'll I'm gonna start off by saying that they do answer emails and phone calls in a very timely manner. Which is what got them the 2 stars. Now for the bad. I ordered a custom set of wheels (spokes) all powder coated 2 colors sent pics of my bike the whole 9 yards well! The first shipment I got was not mine. So some poor guy had to wait for me to ship them back to Miami then to him. Second shipment was a real nice set of wheels but the wrong color. They sub there wheels out to ride write in Cali and the decided on there own that the red they used was best because it's what they had. Now they want to send me samples which will take a week at the least the me send this order back and wait again for my wheels. At this point will be Less of a headache to paint the bike. ii have been dealing with JC and the guys for 3 years live on vancouver island in beautiful Bc JC always responds to my e mails i live in canada so yeah it takes a while to get up here and through customs Their selection of custom parts is great only had one problem with my q5 air intakes the chrome is flaking on the air intakes not JCs fault but i hope his supplier warranties his product they were like 1500 bucks by the time they arrived Ihope that q5 stands behind they were really costly but the bike has people taking pictures all the time thanks read more
