I don't know how they make so much food there. Small little supermarket but they really do cover all you needs. This was my second time visiting this place, they sell some food inside never have tried it but next time i will since they have small section for dine in. Two stars for having a large supply of products and bakery items, but I'll keep looking for a nicer store. The store was dirty, only 1 employee was wearing a mask (no one making food wore one which is unsanitary even without the pandemic), no friendliness, and just an overall disorganized atmosphere. I would have spent a good amount on takeout food but the lack of cleanliness was a HUGE turn-off so I spent $10 and got out ASAP. read more

I ordered for pick up and I was impressed! The food station is located inside of a small Mediterranean market. Do not let the small food counter fool you, the food is EXCELLENT. I got the chicken tawook platter with hummus and tabouli as my sides. The food was delicious. I ate every bite. I don't typically like quite as much olive oil in my tabouli as there was, but the flavors were delicious nonetheless. My only wish is that there was an option for online ordering to get a side of pita bread. I assumed it would come with the platter as it does at most places but the gentleman was kind enough to throw in a piece for free. Next time I'll be sure to add a note or if I order in person just be sure to ask for it to be added on to my bill. When I am near NC state next and wanting Mediterranean food, I'll absolutely return! read more

The food here was great. I had the mix grill. It came with chicken shish kebab, baby lamb chops and Kafka. All three meats were very tasty and juicy. I picked tabbouleh and Greek salad. Both were great. When you walk in it looks like a market but to the right is where they cook the food. The service was great and friendly. read more

I frequently pass by Mecca Market and have wanted to check it out. I usually eat at Amadeo's Italian restaurant next door or at the Greek Fiesta across the street. This time, I decided to enter Mecca Market. The place is a small grocery store. Not only do they sell food you would normally find in a small, grocery store/market, they also sell beef, lamb, and chicken that is raw (cut up). I love their pita bread hot out of the oven and their lamb, stew, and rice! They were kind enough to offer me free pita bread (as it was my first time ordering food there) with a heaping styrofoam plate full of rice, lamb, and stew with carrots and potatoes. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and cooked on-site :) The service was quick and the workers were very kind. I highly recommend this eating here! read more

Ordered family dinner for delivery by Uber Eats. We've had similar meals delivered in the past and they were wonderful. Tonight, not so much. The kabobs were not as well seasoned. The "Greek" salad had mostly peppers. Also, no pita was included at all. We had a pound of hummus and no pita. Very disappointing. read more

If I am anywhere near the Raleigh area I make a pilgrimage to Mecca Market and if it is a Wednesday then I am blessed. Wednesday is Fresh Baked Pita Bread Day! The best variety of pita bread can be found here as well as all other Mediterranean spices, cheeses, herbs, and goodies. Their own pita bread is what they bake fresh every wednesday and we just love it. I just went to Mecca Market to do some shopping and I found practically what I was looking for. I couldn't believe they make their own Arabic bread! I was used to buying them packaged in CA. And their meat pie (Lahme bel hajin) is very tasty! I will definitely go back! read more

I am not a person who writes but couldn't stop me from writing this time. Me and my husband had lunch at Mecca Market. We had Maklubah which is a Palestanian dish of lamb, rice, potatoes, cauliflower and eggplants. It was just phenomenal. The meat was so soft that it melts in your mouth. And of course the Arabia salad was fresh crunchy and rightly dressed. Dessert was kanufe. Me and my husband are so happy and satisfied with lunch we had. Mohammed who is the cook and runs the business along with his family is such a friendly person. I buy fresh meat from there also. They always have fresh and best quality meat. Whenever we are in Raleigh this is our must stop!!! read more

The food here is really good. I ordered off DoorDash and wasn't sure what to get since there weren't descriptions of the food, but I was pleased with the quality of the food. I would say that if they are going to continue to be on DoorDash they should think about having more options. For instance, with most of the desserts you can't order one serving you can only order a pound of it. But regardless, keep up the good work! read more
