He was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough during the assessment. He explained that our previous water heater, which appeared to have been installed by a homeowner about 17 years ago, was missing several important safety features and updates. JD returned for the installation and called before arriving--he even arrived early! He worked efficiently and made sure the new installation would meet current safety standards and pass inspection requirements for our homeowners insurance. Before leaving, JD took the time to walk my husband and me through all the new features. We were impressed to learn about the water alarm that alerts us to leaks in the drain pan, the easy-to-use water shutoff handle, and other safety improvements. What is so amazing is that 29 years ago, my wife had just given birth, and we contacted them once again on the 4th of July; however, that time our air condition unit went out. If you live in Florida, you already know how hot a home will get without any AC. This company sent a technician out and saw that we had a newborn and was determined not to leave until he had us up and running again. That repair even had the technician in our attic which had to be over 100 degrees at the time and yet, he was not deterred in anyway. What I know about Perdido Heating and Air is that they are a company that CARES about their community and even willing to take time away from their own families on weekends and holidays or in this latest incident, both to ensure those of us in need are helped.
