The studio itself is clean and beautiful and gives a feeling of serenity. The instructors are amongst the most friendly I have had. They are knowledgeable and dedicated to the practice (I would like a bit more hands-on posture correction/adjustments). The unexpected bonus is how friendly and open the other students are. I had done Pilates DVDs at home but never had a private session so wasn't sure what to expect. Melissa could tell right away that my low back curve was pretty extreme and the exercises I had been told to do by my therapist were actually making things worse. She was able to guide me through exercises that looked simple but really made me focus on my core and form. She also suggested modifications to personalize the exercises for my needs. I left feeling a ton better and can't wait to take her group class in a couple weeks.
