It was busy, but Sarah soon greeted me with a warm smile and matching demeanor, then inquired how she could assist me. My need at the moment required her to look through my multiple lab test requisitions for a few minutes during which time she maintained the nice atmosphere with appropriate "chit chat". She completed her task with professional composure then asked Dezyre to tend to my blood-drawing. I was pleasantly impressed to observe Dezyre demonstrate the same refreshing welcoming warm personality and professionalism. I'm a dermatologist, currently with a small practice in Lafayette, but formerly with a large practice, with lots of employees, etc. If I still had such a place to offer them employment, I would try to steal them from Labcorp!

Almost every phlebotomist I've worked with, says I'm the most difficult they have ever seen. After going into the draw station yesterday morning and having difficulty, Arina was able to come to my home this morning, and she was very prepared for the challenge. I was able to lay on my couch, she found a vein right away, she asked me a ton of questions about my work to distract me, and I didn't even feel lightheaded afterwards!! Amazing service, I will definitely be calling on Arina again for future blood draws. It's a huge relief to have finally found such a kind and caring phlebotomist.

This is an incredible service for anyone who is sick, homebound, or simply unable to get what they need done at a lab. In my case, the lab actually wouldn't do the bloodwork I needed to donate a kidney, so having someone come to me made the whole process possible. Charity was professional, very communicative, and incredibly gentle and kind during the draw. She made me feel at ease and took care of everything (she came to my house, drew my blood and even took my bloodwork to FedEx for dropoff) I plan on using her services in the future not only for myself, but also for my kids. Having someone trustworthy and skilled come to the house is such a relief! Highly recommended.

They gave me an appointment for 10:40 the next day. ...but the Stat is walk-in and the appointment was useless! It was dishonest of them to give me such an appointment. I would have just gone in earlier if they didn't give me a FAKE appointment. Finally the next day after waiting an hour. and then another hour in the exam room. I was given a prescription that was supposed to have been sent in electronically, ...but it wasn't ready when I went o the pharmacy. Often electronic prescriptions go through immediately. If this one was going to be delayed they should have told me.

So thank you to the staff here. But if I had come in any later I doubt I would have gotten in. I had to fast for my blood testing and also this weird breath test thing I had to do. I didn't wake up and not drink even a drop of water or brush my teeth for nothing. So yes I am very thankful they let me in. Blood tests are fast. The breath test took some waiting of certain amounts of time pre and post drinking of a special drink you have to drink. Its was really easy and streamed lined and I was out very fast. I have to come back for further follow up testing and yes, I made an appointment.

I have been to this lab twice, both times I have left with significant bruising following…read morebloodwork, however my most recent visit was especially bad. After being unable to find a vein on my left arm, the tech decided to draw blood from my right arm. After struggling but finally getting the needle in my arm, the tech had trouble getting enough blood, and began to wiggle the needle around inside my arm. Not only was this painful, blood began splattering out and onto my arm. After failing to draw enough blood, the tech then tried to draw blood from my left arm, which she previously had failed to find a vein in. Expectedly, barely any blood was drawn from my left arm. Following this the tech brought in, who I assume to be their superior, who had to draw from my forearm as the normal blood drawing spots on both of my arms were now both punctured, bruising, and my right side covered in blood. The first lab techs incapability not only lead to severe bruising following this ordeal, they were quite rude. While I understand procedures such as drinking more water can help, there is absolutely no need to repeatedly blame your patient on your own inability to perform your job. A small reminder once is plenty.

I also had Brenda for a session - also fantastic. Both - really listen and hear what's going on and give great advice. I am a recent cancer survivor trying to deal with major changes to my body after undergoing chemo, radiation and surgery that impacted my pelvis, hips, periformis. On top of this I already had lower back issues and was developing shoulder problems as well. I could not walk 10 minutes on a treadmill without pain. Over the course of the past few months I went from not being able to walk more than 10 minutes at a slow pace on the treadmill without pain to walking 3 miles in a little over an hour without pain. Shawn has helped with my neck issues and my lower back issues by looking at my body as a whole. With some massage, stretching and prescribing exercises he has helped me rebuild strength and balance.
