So, having done some work for MedLounge in Ladera Ranch and knowing Britany from Shredz gym (she is one of the owner/partners), I decided to give their wellness program a try. In particular, it was their bio-identical hormone replacement. I had done this in the past with a place in Newport (which is no longer around) but without any great results and was left pretty unimpressed with the overall experience. I came into it a bit of a skeptic, needless to say due to that past situation. From the get-go, the girls at Med-lounge make you feel very welcome and at ease. It can be a little awkward for a guy to walk into a, for the most part woman staffed place, and ask about male hormone replacement, but I was quickly on my way to a great experience. Nikki, who works in this particular dept. did my blood-draw and explained everything in detail. I got my results back about a week later and scheduled a follow-up with Brian who is their head hormone replacement Dr. He went over all the results and explained what it all meant and how it affected me in particular. I manifested to him that I was looking for a pretty conservative approach and he was perfectly in-tune with that scenario. I subsequently was prescribed testosterone lotion and Sermorelin Acetate (a peptide which stimulates hgh production by the body). Now, after about 4 months of "therapy", I have seen my T levels increase by more than double and I feel phenomenal. I am almost 52 and I feel like I am 30! I had hit a wall, so to speak! I couldn't recover well from hard workouts, I was sore often and had constant lack of energy. Well, in a complete honesty, this is no joke! I workout 4/week to include pretty rigorous cardio. For me, it's literally been a game changer. The energy, the weight loss, the muscle gain, it's all pretty awesome. I sleep better, I feel more motivated and I am not in a proverbial "fog". The support MedLounge and their staff provides is amazing! They really want to see you succeed; afterall , if the patient doesn't succeed, they don't either. Every success story is a happy customer and a referral source. That's why I decided to give them the credit they deserve and the kuddos they have earned with my experience. And it doesn't end at the treatments, it's not like they set you up with meds and wave goodbye; they want to see you back about every 2 or so months for re-testing and evaluation so this is legitimately a medically managed and evaluated program. They offer a ton of other pretty great services (specialty non-invasive cosmetic treatments/procedures) although my focus was the hormone stuff. In conclusion, guys, if you're looking to get your T-levels up and want to get lean and in-shape, this is a highly recommended scenario. You don't know until you do an evaluation (blood work). Even if your T is at good levels, they can come up with recommendations and a treatment regimen which fits your particular needs. Give them a try, I highly recommend them and I gain nothing from doing this review...I did it because I believe they are a quality establishment with the right staff and programs to give you results you are looking for...not a bunch of promises, a realistic approach custom tailored to you! My daughter and I made appointments together for a facial and micro needling consult for my acne scars. Charity did an amazing job on my daughters facial! She even got the black heads out of her poor ear. My daughter said it was soo relaxing and felt so good. Let me start out saying that I drive over two hours to come to medlounge in Ladera Ranch. I have got so many services from this facility- first I get my laser hair removal by nurse Nikki who does an amazing job and let me say sometimes Brazilians isn't the pretty things but she makes you feel completely comfortable while you're there getting lasered I get my facials from Cheridy who is an amazing aesthetician and also my cool sculpting from her as well I've got cool sculpting twice on my abdomen and once on that irritating banana roll That one we know with tons of work out will not get rid of it because it's a genetic ball of fat but let me tell you -that one's cool sculpting treatment in that area has already almost eliminated it even though sometimes they recommend more treatments it is helped me tremendously Med- lounge is the place to go for all things Botox to facials to cool sculpting I have done them all I wish I could give 10 stars for the way medlounge has made me feel at home and also how well there staff is let's not forget the Emsculpt is all the rage right now and trust me it works even Megan fox can stand by that lol the 2 hour drive there and back is worth it especially when dealing with your face and body. I want to preface this review by saying I used to work for a BHRT physician (different clinic) so when I first heard about the Med Lounge offering hormones I was incredibly interested.
