Y'all! I had to come out of "Yelp posting" retirement to leave this review... When I tell you that I have been to spas, and med spas all over the world (Europe, Asia, Africa) and United States, and spas in your favorite five star hotels...and when I tell you that everyone who knows me knows that I am beyond super picky, and rarely ever impressed... Wait! Let me back up. I was on Yelp the other day searching for places that offered the Oxygeneo facial...This place was the only one that came up...The review I read was bad, the poster was complaining about her card being overcharged, (come to find out that it was only by $5 whole dollars! I thought it was hundreds of dollars the way she was carrying on SMH)...but somewhere in that review she said that she was very pleased with the actual service she received...Once I saw that part, I decided that I was gonna go ahead and book it- because again, I didn't see anyone else offering it and I want to see if it was really better than the Hydra facial (Spoiler alert: It is!) I researched this treatment before I set out to make my appointment, so I was expecting it to be upwards of $300, and was ready to pay that...New Year, new me, who dis?! Skin bout to be on fleek! Lol I was super geeked when I found out that they were running a special for January and the treatment would only be $99!!! Seriously, stop reading this post and go book an appointment right now!! Sometimes when you get a discounted anything the (discounted) value seems to be equally reflected in whatever you got... When I tell you that I was completely blown away by the whole experience from start to finish, this IS the best facial I've ever gotten. This is the best spa experience I've ever had. The session was so good and thorough. It was not rushed at all, and I believe every single inch of my face was tended to today! The therapist had such a soft touch massaging my décolleté and hands! I could literally feel STRESS leaving my body. It was rising out of me, going straight toward the ceiling in the room. She absolutely has healing hands.The facial/session was so good I promise you I could barely lift myself up to get off the bed once it was over... But this is the most important piece of this post: I had my session with Monika...So make sure and double check that when you go in that you book it with her. This review is way too long, but I feel it's warranted. I'm very critical and discriminating when it comes to doing anything and especially spending money-I never consider the cost if I believe something to be WORTH it...this was worth every penny, and definitely more. Monika's gonna be gone for the next 4 weeks, and the $99 special is over on the 31st... I guess I got lucky 2x...but I made sure to get on the books for when she comes back. I'm gonna try the 3 series fractional lasers, so will come back to update this review. In conclusion, you can't pay for a first hand account, word of mouth review like this. I wish I knew SEO so I could send traffic to this place! I wish I was an influencer so that I could let all my millions of instagram followers know about this place. I'm shook!!! If you stayed with me this long, finally, a call to action: If you are looking for a place to get some treatments done I can not recommend this place enough. I have been to some of the best (top rated) med spas that Chicago has to offer...NONE of them compare to the level of customer service and experience as a whole that I received here. I don't know if today was a one off, or if this is how it always is at this med spa, but don't take my word for it, go see for yourself! read more

I have gotten Botox done before and it typically lasts me about 4-6 months. I got it done from MedAndSpa about 3 to 4 weeks ago and my forehead wrinkles are still there!!!!! Nurse and staff were nice but I'm not sure if they just don't use great product:( disappointed that I have no results. read more

Came here on a whim the other day and I was extremely impressed with the staff. I had an iffy experience with my procedure at another salon in the city so trying it for the second time here I was apprehensive. I can't remember her name (shoot!) but she walked me through everything , her suggestions, and was extremely kind when I asked to be a bit more modest in the approach we were taking. Fast forward a few days and I am so happy with the results ! It is worth it to come here - everyone is so nice and not pushy at all. I am excited to see how my wedding pictures turn out! Monika was very honest with me about my skin type, areas of concern and at home care being an important part of achieving my goals. I appreciated that she went over everything in such detail. Beware of this place! I went for a Oxygeneo Facial recently, and the service was good, however, I was very disappointed as the tip that I added was changed to a higher amount, which was very upsetting! The receptionist admitted I was charged a higher amount and then stated that they wouldn't be able to give me a refund but only apply to spa services! Seriously....was planning on getting additional treatments but after this incident, absolutely not! It appears that the customer does not come 1st, only the "almighty" dollar! read more

LOW LEVEL INSTITUTION. Wouldn't even give one star if I could. As a new client I have made an appointment with a specific person which was highly recommended But I've never had to see her.Long story short- they stole me as new client from that nurse I requested and put me to another nurse. Asked me to come on Thursday instead of Wednesday, which I did without any back thought in my head about what's going to happen . Now manager Kasia is telling my with out no shame that she wasn't even speaking to me, and that day when my appointment was I'm not even on their list. The nurse I was requesting found out too what they was doing and she thanked me cos now she knows what they do and where her new clients disappear. What more Smile manager Kasia was trying to convince me - I was told it's gonna be with different nurse. So I can assure you that I would never ever agree to go and spent nearly 2k with a person which was not recommended to me and I know nothing about. It feels disgusting. They don't respect clients. And it says everything.they lie professionally so if something would go wrong you will never find a true.and I believe those comments below which has one star is TRUE. They reply to those comments because wanna keep the face. there is way more better places where to go . And what she did to me wasn't as good as I expected . Others do a better job. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and and the Plasma procedure I had done. I have always disliked my hooded lids but have been hesitant to go through with surgery. After researching online I found this non invasive option. While the procedure does hurt a bit, Agnes was very patient with me throughout the whole process. I live in the city but traveled to this location at the recommendation of a friend. I am so glad I did! The location is beautiful and well kept. The staff was extremely pleasant and very helpful. I felt as though they listened to my personal insecurities and were genuinely trying to help me with my specific face and skin concerns, not sell or upsell procedures. I had Dysport and Restylane done at a much more reasonable price than other spas I have used in Chicago. Anna did my injections and really took the time to perfect my lips. I had previously had them done elsewhere and was fearful to try again because I saw little effect after experiencing a great deal of pain. The numbing cream they use at MedAndSpa really works! I went in for a facial on Friday, January 27, 2017. Agnes took care of me. The ambience is relaxing and very elegant. Agnes is very knowledgable and experienced. I felt right at home. The bed is heated and blankets and bedding are soft. Agnes explained what she was doing and answered all questions regarding the treatments I was interested in. She also recommended treatments that I was not aware of such as improving the look of my hands. I look forward to further treatments and to relax in a beautiful and quiet atmosphere.
