I want to warn others not to waste their time and money here if they are looking for a laser tattoo/microblading removal. I had three sessions done to remove part of my microblading with a laser. The first session went well, but it left orange pigmentation, which is normal. During the second and third session my eyebrows got burnt and the skin on and around them was damaged to the point that it was bleeding. A day after, the tissue got hardened and was very sore for over two weeks. Before the third session I was very nervous and I felt that Katie was being short with me, stating "if you don't want, I don't have to do it". Since I was there, I trusted her and wanted the orange pigment to be removed, I told her to proceed. The orange pigment didn't fade after those two last sessions. It stayed the same. At first Katie, when I initially talked to her, seemed very knowledgeable and confident that the part of the treated microblading will be gone after 2-3 sessions. It seemed to me that after the second and third sessions she had no idea what she was doing. So, I went to a place where they only specialize in removing tattoos. I had a session done with them last week. My eyebrows didn't burn and my skin didn't get damaged and I can notice that the orange pigment got lighter already. When I told them about my experience with Advanced Heath, they were shocked and said the burning and damaged skin absolutely shouldn't happen. I sent couple emails last week to Advanced Health of Oakbrook with a request of a refund for the three laser tattoo removal sessions but I haven't got reply from them.

Today for my first visit to Summit Dermatology, I arrived about 5 minutes early to complete the paperwork that always comes with a new doctor. When I turned the paperwork back in, I was immediately escorted back to an exam room. after speaking with the assistant for a few minutes about my general history, Dr. Agha was there to see me. From the minute she stepped into the room, she was warm and caring and gave me a run down of my options for treatment - immediately telling me that she had samples for me to try of all products before spending the money out of pocket to try them! While my visit today was completely on time, I can understand why a Doctor like this might right late sometimes, because she listed to all of my concerns and patiently responded to all of my questions. I think that is much better than having someone race through your visit to stay on time! All in all I am giving them 4 stars because today was only my first visit, but if you are looking for a dermatologist in the area, please consider giving Dr. Agha at try.

When I walked in one of the receptionists appeared short tempted towards an elderly woman that had misplaced products she had just purchased. Little did I know I would be the next victim of their poor customer service, dishonesty, unprofessionalism and short temper. Walked in on Thursday 2/24/22 around 2:50pm, they advertise that they accept same day walk in's at ALL locations. One of the front desk receptionists said their location does not take walk in's. Not sure why they would advertise that when you call if it's not true. I was able to speak to a nurse with dark brown hair, she told me that the doctor could see me but not until 4. I told her I didn't mind waiting but instead of listening to me, she basically decided for me by saying, "no you wouldn't want to wait that long" and insisted, even after I repeated myself a second time that I wouldn't mind waiting if that's the only way I could get a simple prescription change. Next the receptionist ladies were rude, they didn't listen to my situation, instead of taking a moment to listen to understand what my situation was they would interrupt me and talk over me while I was speaking. An African American front desk receptionist handled the situation poorly she took the situation to level that was unnecessary, instead of having empathy she lost her temper and called the cops because I refused to leave when all I wanted was to take a minute after the Dr. was done with the current patient, to ask if she could change a prescription she had given me. The front desk also refused to give me test results from a biopsy that I had at this same location for my first appointment. The entire staff seems very dishonest and unprofessional they say one thing one moment and change it to something else the next and I could be talking to one receptionist and the other one will rudely interrupt.
