It's very seldom that i've been moved to write a negative review; however, this place really doesn't rate anything better than one star - maybe no stars. They have made zero preparations to accommodate the volume of people needing a fast turn-around Covid-19 test. The place was swamped with people lined up from their lobby into the parking lot. Everyone had to wait in a queue on a blistering sidewalk and blacktop lot. It didn't matter why you were there: some on line were just picking up or dropping off forms. It was 96 degrees and their take it or leave it attitude was obvious once you get in. No empathy whatsoever but a keen appreciation for your on-the-spot payment. I waited over 2 1/2 to called to the waiting room. Then I waited another 1/2 to be given a room. Then I waiting another 40 minutes for a doctor. Who approved a rapid Covid test & prescribed an antibiotic. Then I waited another 25 minutes to have a rapid Covid test & the nurse said my prescription was called in to my pharmacy. Now I'm at the pharmacy and no one from Medemerge has called my prescriptions. I left Medimerge 50 minutes ago. Now I've called Medimerge twice & the people "downstairs" will ask the nurse to call my pharmacy. Seriously the protocols put in place are not working and people there are just walking around like there is nothing to do. It's time for me to look for a new medical facility. read more

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Staff is nasty and rude and no one does anything about. 1-2 months ago my husband had a routine physical done here. Today he went to get paperwork completed stating that he just completed a physical. He was told that he needed to "CHECK IN" as a patient, pay a copay and they will charge his insurance in order for him to receive the paperwork today. OR he can wait 7 business days. I've been visiting this very location since a child, literally over 20 years of crawling to this place as a beacon of hope. From pneumonia to ear infections. To evaluations / overall health clearances for cosmetic surgery. I can be stubborn at times, I went in last summer as if something the cat dragged in. It turns out my lungs had become so tight from bronchitis i was light headed & wheezing like an old Ford. I received so much care ! Immediate attention , ( an emergency steroid shot to open me up ) Thorough evaluation, and prescribed the right scripts ! ( emergency room wouldn't give me antibiotics , instead promethazine to knock my dying self out ) I'm actually on my way there now Not just for the familiarity But for the continuous effort. read more

My wife 79 and I aged 86 have been going to Medemerge for a long time as doctors and medical staff are good and polite. But lately there is excessive overcrowding may be due to Corona testing. We old patients are made to stand outside the facility in terrible cold. Today I wanted to see a doctor as I could not stand or walk due to some problem in my spine. It was very difficult to stand in the cold. Medemerge is no longer Walk-in facility but a Wait- outside facility. Finally I was allowed inside and I found that I was at no. 1 at registration and most seats were vacant. Why are patients made to stand outside when there is no line inside and lot of free seating ? I appreciate the work but there customer service is bad. Some staff is not good in communication or what I mean is the patient-health provider communication. I know that it's busy place but they don't know how to organize there time in rendering care. The doctor don't even ask us (I'm with my husband) about what we need. We did yearly physical check up but they don't know how to communicate for what we need to do or tgey don't even using the "AIDET"‍. dont go there! Long wait and the staff is very unprofessional. During my visit I gave my pharmacy of preference for them to send my prescription. Had a high fever hills but still went to pick up my medicatio. my pharmacy never got the prescription, called 5 times and nobody bother to double check the pharmacy until I said where I was. The wrong pharmacy already billed for my medication and when they FINALLY sent it correctly the correct pharmacy couldn't give me my prescription because the wrong pharmacy already billed. After searching dozen of urgent care locations for a COVID test, Medemerge seemed like the best option. Here was my experience on Monday November 23rd (I wish I could give 0 stars): Arrived at 9 am, waited one hour to register. At that point was told they would call me to come back in 4-5 hours (that I could go home and wait). They called me 7.5 hours later. At that point I came back and waited in line for another 1.5 hours (a line to go inside and pay). During that time I observed little to no organization. Multiple nurses asking me whether I got my temperature taken already, multiple nurses asking me if it was my first visit, no process to ensure repeat work wasn't done. I observed a nurse taking someone's temperature. It blinked red, he had a fever. 3 more times it blinked red. On the 5th time it didn't blink red and they let him inside. Finally I was let inside, where social distancing was not practiced. I paid $120 for the visit because they did not accept my insurance plus another $65 for the rapid test. I was told to go to the tent in the back of the building to take the test - waited about 5 minutes and my name was called. Inside the tent I observed a sign that said negative test, we will text you and another that said positive test, we will call you. The doctor said I would hear back in the morning (because it was already almost 8pm at that point). It is now 2 days later, I called them 6 times and finally got through. The results are in, But no one ever sent me a text. They told me I should've checked the portal for my results. What portal? No one ever told me there was a portal? We had 8 months to organize a plan. 8 months to prepare for an uptick. Medemerge has no plan, no organization, they are just looking to take people's money as quickly as possible. read more

The on site testing and x-ray facilities are convenient and provide real time information that allow the doctors to recommend treatment quickly. The ability to see a doctor without an appointment 365 days a year is a plus which allows me to make visits at my convenience. A great option in the area if you want a medical office that you can stop in at just about any time without an appointment. Usually the wait is very minimal although sometimes it's just busy. My primary physician has been here for years and I recommend it. Suppot staff is very professional and courteous. The quality of care and 'bedside manner' of the doctors and PAs is right on target. They do take the time to hear what your complaints are and work quickly and efficiently to get you back to good health. read more

I have been going here since they first opened. It was a great place to take the kids with a fever or anything weird, they were there and could diagnose on site. Its very straightforward and now I am a very spoiled patient who would very much like to go to a private practitioner and have a one on one relationship but I am too spoiled from Medemerge. I am a germophobe. I have a pacemaker. For me, to go for labwork and have to sit in a very tight waiting room for 3 or 4 hours with SICK people coughing and sneezing all over me is not something I can mentally bear. When you go to Medemerge, its fairly spacious when you are waiting. If you go at peak hours like after work, you are going to wait a little longer but most of the time, your wait is very brief and they immediately take you into a treatment room where you do your actual waiting. Now for me, to be isolated from the sick people as I await my healthcare is a dream come true. I read a magazine, I play games on my phone. Its fine even if I dont feel well. They will happily refer you to a specialist if you need one. The doctors are top notch. The front desk has not always been as charming and welcoming as it could be but I think they were worked to death. I was there a few weeks ago and the welcome was appropriate and positive. They have everything online. You can make appointments online, get your test results, its really high tech. Over the years, I have had mountains of blood taken, numerous X-rays, ekgs, I live in the area. When I first started going there I didnt live so close but now I do and I can tell you there is no one in the area who does not go there and love them all. I went in to get Covid Tests for family and I and given the circumstances of so many people it was actually very thorough. We got there around 6:30am and at about 7:00am they took down our names and told us they would call us when ready for testing. We received a call at 11:30am to go back to the clinic for testing. We waited about 15 minutes in line for the people that they called for Covid tests and registered inside. In about another 15 minutes we were inside getting tested. Very pleasant nurses and doctors! I had a little issue with a name on the Patient Portal but I called their number and a very helpful and polite woman took care of the name error right away! Medemerge has been a go to for my husband and I for a few years now. I like the friendly atmosphere and ease of checking in upon arrival. I generally don't wait long and am called back within a few minutes. As I walk through the building, I always notice how clean they keep their office but without that strong chemical cleaner smell that I sometimes smell in other offices. Anyone coming in whatever room I'm in has a smile on their face and presents a friendly demeanor. I've never felt rushed and have always had an opportunity to ask questions. I love how they have ample parking making it easier when I need to come visit. The location is prime and easy to find coming off 22. If you need urgent care, please give them a try. I have been going to Medemerge for over ten years. I don't need an appointment and most times I don't have to wait too long. The staff is friendly and the hospital is always very clean. If I have a serious problem they have x-ray machines and lab testing on site to help the doctors make their diagnosis. When I go to Medemerge I always ask for Dr. Lyalya Strumkovsky. She has been my primary care taker the whole time. She is awesome. She is very attentive and actually listens to me when I am telling her my problem and immediately knows what to do. She has a way of making you feel safe and confident in her care. When I bring my daughter she always wants "Dr. Lyalya" because she is very gentle with her. She is the only doctor that can give my daughter an injection and not make her cry. Amazing! read more

The secretary felt the need to inform me of her opinion that I "do not have anxiety" since I have not been there since 2019, meanwhile I am in therapy and am currently going through many stressful life changes. Great rapid testing. Definitely get there early because the line builds quickly. I got there at 6:50 and I was 7th in line. Was inside the building waiting to fill out my forms and check in by 7:45. Their computer systems suddenly crashed so that delayed everything a little bit but they were quickly using manual forms and getting people registered. I was completely done by 8:30. The staff was very friendly and they moved quickly. The one thing I wasn't too happy with was how many people they let inside of the building to wait in line - it was much more crowded than it was outside (where social distancing was well maintained). Girlfriend went here after auto accident. Had x-ray. Doctor said "nothing I can do for you". Take aspirin. She went to hospital 2 Days later. X-ray and cat scan. 3 broken ribs! Horrible, horrible experience. The website says they do lab work, so since my doctor gave me a prescription for some lab work, I went there. The nice young woman at the front desk checked me in quickly, and took me to a room where I sat for 30 minutes. A woman came in, took my blood pressure and weight. No blood work. After 40 minutes, I went back out to the desk and ask for my prescription back, because I had to be getting along, and would just go somewhere else. They insisted I was Up Next. 10 minutes later, the doctor strolls in. I explained that I don't need a doctor I just need bloodwork nothing else and did not want to see him. He said OK he would send someone right in, and walked out. Five or 10 minutes after that, a woman came in to take my blood and get a urine sample. I explained that all I want is bloodwork, not a urine sample. She said she can't do that. I went back to the desk, and then had to argue to get my prescription back so that I could leave. What a horrible experience. Don't go there if you have less than two hours, and a desire to have work done that you didn't ask for. Their website advertised Covid testing. From the time we checked in to the time we left was four hours. Upon arriving to the front desk we were asked for insurance information purely for the fact to see if our insurance would pay for the test itself. Was told our insurance would not pay for the test so I paid $65 on the spot. Some sort of practitioner came in and spent 35 seconds sticking a swab up my daughters nose and we got the results about an hour later. Just received a bill a month later billing my insurance company $535 for a new patient visit. I've never been to a new patient visit where I spent 35 seconds with the practitioner. Came here on a Friday to get some lab work done. I got stuck in both arms and bruised up. No biggie, they got what they needed and results should be back soon. The following Monday night, I receive a message to call regarding the results. I return the call and get a vague response that they need to discuss the results with me. At this point I'm worried because they won't discuss the results with me on the phone. I take Tuesday off because I'm worried and go back to discuss the results. I'm told that they needed more lab work and more blood. Two more stick is my still bruised arms. I'm done at this point. Wow! Needed a rapid covid test to get back to work. I arrived at 8:00 and was quoted 30-40 minutes(which I expected and was able to wait in my car). They called me right around 40 minutes into my wait and I was in and out by 9am. Each person I came in contact with was kind and friendly. It cost $65 for the rapid test but worth it to me for convenience. The entire process was highly efficient and I would recommend to anyone who needs a quick Covid Test result.
