I highly recommend this facility for any emergency or when a family physician is not available. My husband had to go in this past weekend for a sinus infection. He accused me of being addicted to pain killers on the next visit, then acknowledged that I had no access to pain killers. (He was fired. Fancy that.) Sure, Keystone can get you in and out; but they can't and don't offer much by way of personal or preventative care. If you don't have insurance, mention it when you get to the billing counter. Keystone offers a discount for the uninsured. Also, if you need to see a doctor URGENTLY but not ER URGENTLY, call at 7:30a when they open and request a same-day. Ask nicely, and the receptionist will probably take pity and give you an appointment. But only if you are nice. (I'm serious.)

Doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners...all female. You never have to worry that a man will walk into the door! You may have to wait a few minutes when you call one of these places, but they're so busy it's no wonder. Just be patient, they will get back to you. You can often leave a message with your number for them to call you back if you don't feel like holding. I've not used the pharmacy, but being in that building sure seems convenient. I've heard lots of good things about it, too. If you need labs or imaging, you can have that done on first floor towards the back of the building. Very convenient. They ask you to pre-register on the phone, so when you arrive, it's even faster. It can be nice to have so much in one building. Alleviates trying to figure out where to go. Doors are clearly marked as to what that office is. There is an info desk right as you walk into the building, although there isn't always someone there. They do have a map if you're unfamiliar with the building. It is a two-story building, and they've designed it to have plenty of room to walk. This is a clean facility, too. They keep after restrooms, there isn't trash overflowing, landscaping is neat and tidy. Says good things about the organizations. I've been going here for years, am very happy overall. Sure, there are quirks now and then, a few hassles, maybe, but that's anywhere. Summit provides quality, efficiency, and good service most of the time. Can't really complain overall.

There was one person in the back. One ahead of us. The incompetence is MIND BOGGLING. I thought they'd send the strep test out, rapid was negative. They didn't! 2 days later he looks worse than ever. Red and white spots on his throat. I ask if they can send it out and she goes- well it was days ago we don't have it anymore. WTF. She actually suggested I come in again for another one. Heck no! Doc claimed that the red spots meant it was viral. I call BS. Last time he had strep it was all red spots and no white. He's had negative rapid tests before and the lab shows positive. The staff is accommodating and willing to do their best to get you in asap if needed. Great follow-up after ER visits. We recently had to take our son to the Walk-In for a possibly broken hand. A little wait, but it's walk-in, they are all busy no matter where you go. They got us back, did x-rays, found a break and torus fracture so gave him a temp cast, sent his info & a referral to an orthopedics specialist. I would certainly recommend them.
