I've had good experience there with Dr Casey (not sure his last name) and Dr Erica Perez - both were excellent in visits past. However Yin Tun shouldn't be left to care for a houseplant. She was rude, condescending, has no bedside manner, pulled up her mask during Covid to get in my face and yell at me, and was generally inept. She clearly hadn't read any of my paperwork and was not worth 2 hrs wait to finally see her. If you see she's the doctor on duty I'd suggest you just turn around and either go to the er or Patient First. Casey and Dr Perez are clear 5 star winners but Yin Tun deserves fewer than 0 stars - in the negatives. read more

We had to go back for a check up for a TB test and the receptionist was very rude. She gave my boyfriend attitude the first time. The second time we went up to schedule an X-ray, she didn't even give us a chance to say what we needed to do. So she took the paperwork and walked away. Then she had to go figure out what was going on. A few minutes later she came back blaming us for not telling her that we needed to schedule an X-ray. "We went sent out here by the nurse to schedule the X-ray" "What do you mean schedule? We can do it right now " "Okay then we will do that? I arrived at 8AM on a Saturday, first person at the door. I simply needed bloodwork done for a physical. The receptionist was very accommodating, as she informed me they do not do bloodwork there. She willingly called around locally to other urgent care centers and found a place for me to go, she even checked if my insurance would be accepted! I was very impressed with the level of service, I did not have to ask nor beg her to help me! In the "paperless" world today, I am so grateful when there is still a REAL person available to help me! This place is trash. Honestly, avoid going here if you can. My wife has been trying a few days to set an appointment to get herself and our kid tested for covid-19. After a few days of calling in and trying to get an appointment set she was continually told to call back at an earlier time the next day to try and set an appointment because they are all booked up for the day. I don't understand why appointments can't be booked a day or so prior, but that's how their operation is set up. While their standard operating procedure is inconvenient it isn't what makes this place awful. It's the staff. Today my wife called right when they opened at 8:00 am and after being put on hold for thirty minutes she was finally able to talk to a lady who was extremely rude to her, so much so that the woman ended up calling my wife stupid. I can understand that the staff could be under tremendous pressure with everything that is going on but that's not an excuse to conduct themselves as unprofessional. read more

This was the worst experience with an urgent care. I had a 9 AM appointment and was informed upon arrival that it doesn't mean I will be seen close to that time. I waited over 2 hours and people that had come in after went first. The weird part is it was a hair test for work that took minutes. So I waited that long for a 5 minute visit and I was "working." I recently moved to York so perhaps this is just another "York" thing. The person doing the test was polite and the one receptionist was relatively friendly but there was an older lady that was EXTREMELY rude! I am sorry I ever stepped in the door I went to this facility for UTI. Beyond billing me wrong they also prescribed Cirpo to me, which is one of the most dangerous drugs. I stopped this medication day three and now three weeks later can barely walk. One night called them with severe pain and worries from the medication and got NO call back after I called twice. I went to this place to get a covid test on Sunday. I was told that the results should be back in 24-48 hours. They said that they would try one time by phone, to contact me with results. If I didn't answer, they would mail the results and I could call in to get them. Since I received a few calls this morning from numbers that I did not recognize, I figured I would call in. However, when I called in, (I do not use this word very often), the *itch that answered said "we will call you when we get the results which can be 3-7 days, and they are running late". I came in at about 9am to get checked in because I am sick and believe I have a strep throat. I left the house in a hurry to make it to the urgent care before the waiting line got longer so, i had forgotten my identification. In the past, they would just look up my information because I come here frequently with my child so our information is already on file. I haven't had an issue at MedExpress up until recently with the receptionist "Suzanne". She is very rude and lazy. when i let her know i had forgotten my identification at first she tried to make it seem like she couldn't do anything about it and wasn't going to check me in until i told her that my stuff is on file because i have been here recently. She smirks at me and then proceeds to ask me for my name. She has trouble hearing me through my mask and sucks her teeth and i repeat my first and last name. She looks me up in the system and tells me that i need to bring ID next time. On a previous occassion, there was only one doctor in when i brought my child in for a check up and the doctor forgot my child's doctor's note. The receptionist there in the morning (NOT SUZANNE) was very sweet and said she would email it to me when it was ready. When i called to check back in that evening, Suzanne had taken over the previous receptionist's shift and was now refusing to email me my child's doctor's note and i would have had to pick it up in person. She said "I do things differently, and i will not send you the doctor's note via email. You have to come pick it up." I was told that it is ok for forms to be emailed; she was just being lazy. People come here for convenience because they aren't feeling well. Having someone at the desk who only agitates the patients more is just unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

I had a satisfying experience despite others who feel otherwise. I was greeted promptly and questioned to what help I needed. Registration was brief and so was the wait to be seen. The nurse that took my vitals was cheerful and thorough with questioning and pre examination. The P.A. that examined me wasted no time diagnosing my shingles symptoms, and after confirming a little research, she explained why-where-& how it was bothering me. This put me at ease now knowing what my sickness was and that it could be dealt with. - I had been to a different express facility twice the past week and had not made any progress. While visiting family I became ill. I went to medexpress on Loucks Rd. I was misdiagnosed as having bronchitis when I actually had a sinus infection. I was told if I needed to I could return within 9 days FREE OF CHARGE since tests visits everything was included. I returned the next day. Saw a whole new set of people. When I arrived back to my home there was a bill from the Pa which I am now fighting. The bill was almost twice the cost of the initial visit. The staff at the front desk was friendly. 2 of the nurses were caring. The others were rude. Shame on you. read more

If you have a serious health issue or emergency I would not recommend this place, but it used to be convenient for a quick work physical or basic issues. However, they now only have nursing staff available some of the time, so you cant always get a physical completed. I just called this location because myself and my children are showing possible symptoms of either a cold or a virus. The person who answered the phone asked how she could help. I said that I had couple of questions for either her or a medical provider. Before I could get the entire question out of my mouth, she said that she couldn't answer my questions and couldn't patch me to a medical provider unless we've been seen there before. I paused, confused because this is supposed to be a medical clinic that is helpful correct? She made it very clear they were quite the opposite. Not good customer service or PR. I went for a late night visit and was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. The nurse staff was nice which is why I gave them one star. I drove home almost a half hour just to open the box of meds they prescribed... And it was empty. They completely misdiagnosed by daughter's ear infection as a viral infection. My 2 year old spiked a fever of 104.1 on Sunday so we took her to MedExpress. The week prior she had been treated for an ear infection and had just completed a round of antibiotics. My husband told the doctor all of this. He checked her ears and gave her a strep test which came back negative so he diagnosed it as a viral infection and sent us home to wait it out. Two days later she still had a raging fever so I brought her in to see her PCP, where her doc immediately discovered the ear infection and gave us a prescription for another round of antibiotics. My daughter felt horrible and missed school for 2 days, which would have been completely preventable with the proper diagnosis. read more

I went to Med Express cause I have had a headache and upset stomach for a little over week. I paid the $119 since I didn't have insurance. I went to the back and saw the doctor and after she pressed on my stomach and I let her know it was tender. She said that they aren't able to diagnose me. That I needed to go to a specialist and get scooped cause she believes that I could have cancer. I think since they weren't able to provide the treatment necessary and the doctor had no idea what she was doing I should get a refund. So if you are planing on going to Med Express don't do it all they care about is taken your money and they really don't care about their patiences. read more
