They have a vast variety of assistive devices or adaptive equipment and surgical supplies as well as other items that a drug store would stock. Here the kicker, after the sale was completed, the cashier asked if I needed a pharmacy for my prescription. When they changed owmership a few years ago we were worried the great customer service might change but they continued the committment to the community and to affordable and quality products. From the front staff to the pharmacists, they treat everyone with respect and take their time to help you find what you need or they'll order it for you. My wife and I both got our booster shots and flu vaccines there and they were great about the whole process. I've been using RVC Pharmacy for awhile, got my Covid booster shot there. As I had a blood test in the same bldg. where they are I stopped in to ask for the vaccine. The pharmacist told me I had to have Part B. ??? I have the AETNA E lite plan which I was told covers these vaccinations. I don't have a separate prescription plan-they have network pharmacies. I was TOLD by Aetna Rockville Centre Pharmacy IS in-network. The Aetna rep told me he'd never heard of a pharmacy in their network denying a member a vaccination. I'm thinking when I can speak to the owner, Howard. I'll see what happened. If they really don't provide this I will tell Aetna they should be REMOVED from the network.
